Very nice, clean park. Staff very friendly. Only reason for giving a 4 is that they use a token for showers. Did not like that. Otherwise a good park. It is in the dunes so expect a lot of noise from atvs but that goes with the territory.

Beautiful park, with lots of flowering plants, views, and amenities, albeit a bit tight for larger rigs. Sites have decent space between them and roads are paved. The restrooms are immaculate. Loads of activities for the kids, and a big pool!

Very nice. Grounds are kept up. Our site had asphalt that was lifting creating a tripping hazard.

Very expensive stay. We forgot to mark 4 adults on are initial reservation and when I read through the paperwork once we arrived I added my sister and husband and was charged an additional $68 on top of an already expensive stay. Park is nice just too pricey

The site is well maintained, the men in the golf card was very helpful , however I am not sure if the receptionist at the registration was a new employee however she indice me an 2 errors, of course when I went back to the registration she wasn’t there and when I tried to explain my frustration the young me that started to answer me had good customer service manner but the 2 other ladies were no

I booked the Terrace area but they put me in the Pump Out area so booking a particular area means nothing. They said the Terrace area was full but it obviously was not full when I booked it or it would not have been available. The place is totally overpriced but they are the only park in the area and they know it. I find that common at KOA parks

The only complaint is the men’s shower was not draining well and a huge puddle under your feet. It’s kind of gross for the drain to be clogged. In the women’s shower there wasn’t a lot of pressure

It was safe & family friendly! The sites are extremely tight. When I made the reservation, I explained we have a 40-foot RV, plus trailering in a car. I also called to confirm. We were assured we would be fine. Hidden boulders under brush at curves & sites. When leaving, we had to drive through tree branches, which scratched the RV! Additionally, no escort to a busy, not well marked park.

Enjoyed the site and area. The wait to register was too long. Returning from town we experienced a long wait just to get back in. Also, the sites weren’t very clean for the nightly price. They should be blown or swept in between guests. Because you asked.

Very nice campground with modernized bathhouses. Great amenity was having a food truck onsite. Ate there twice and food was good. Convenient location close to restaurants and Wal-Mart.

Clean campground, well laid out camp spaces. Great customer service, greeted upon arrival & transported to the office to check-in. The location really made you feel like you were transported into the forest.

VERY nice campground. Wish all the activities for the kids were available or at least had dates and times listed for when they are available or not in off season in order to set expectations for kids. Great view, kind staff and clean facilities.

Beautiful park with nice atmosphere. There is a lot for kids to do. We were not aware the site we were given was for a company to pump our tanks out in the morning. We prefer full hook up as we leave early mornings. Be careful when you reserve a site to get what you prefer.

A beautiful location in the quiet countryside outside Petaluma. The friendly staff was most helpful and accommodating. The access to California’s wine country, farmland and coastal beauty made our stay a delight.

I would have given this KOA a better rating because the park itself is very nice BUT. We were there for a Family Reunion and our Son who we hadn't seen in over a year was coming and we wanted for them to come to the park for an Hour or two and bring our Grandson. The park was going to charge each of them $20.00 to come into the park for a couple of hours which I think is PURE BULLSHIT.

Great place and amenities, perfect for families, just a little to close of quarters for us. Just felt a bit packed in like sardines, but it was Easter weekend.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
