Beautifully landscaped and maintained. Clean bathrooms We originally planned to use our camper van with one of the sites but booked a no bathroom cabin instead. The site was next to the kids play area so it was a huge convenience. Petting farm had variety of animals. Pool was closed for repairs but the day if checkout it was open and the manager gave us extra time to enjoy it. Such friendly staf

Nice KOA and grounds. Cabin was nice but staff put the only other people in a cabin right behind us and they were noisy. Instead of spreading people out. Bathrooms freezing cold, not heated. Has to wait for water to turn warm forever. Good wifi

Beautiful location.The campground areas I drove through were clean and well maintained.The cabin I rented was cute and furnished with the basics. As for the cleanliness of the cabin, the floor was filthy and disgusting to walk on. The floor was squishy and buckling. The bathroom shower area and top of the refrigerator was dirty. Ants! Communication and friendliness of the staff…disappointing.

Went for Valentine’s Day that is also my birthday and being aloud to has our dogs was great. The cabin is incredible just wish stove top worked better it took 30min to cook 6 pieces of bacon. Having your own shower and toilet are a plus. Bbq worked fantastic and looked brand new. Stay was incredible.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin (four of us, all seniors). It worked out great. Plenty of room and amenities. We went to the crab feed - deliciousXX! and an outstanding deal. The Petaluma KOA is well staffed, maintained, and in a lovely setting.It's also strategically located for sightseeing and recreation. We will be returning.

It was a pretty good stay in close proximity to a lot of stores and different cities. The information on the e-mails and brochure were as far as wifi, events and general information. There was no one to check if people were following the quiet time rule therefore we were kept up by our neighbors music and loud talking into the late night.

We rented a cabin, it was very cold and the heat source was inadequate. We decided to warm up in thebhot tub....and its was like warm! Ugghhhh.....so we then went to the showers at the office....again, cold amd no water pressure, so we then went to the upper showers which are super hot and amazing! Beautiful property, but the cold cabin, tub, and then shpwer was a bit much!

Power went out setting off an alarm all night. Finding out it was the cabin that had a bad connection. Ants got into all our food ruining them. The park itself was nice. The staff tried to fix the problems and were really accommodating.

Thank you for a great stay, especially the upgrade on our cabin after the skunk incident on the second night. This will be one of our favorite travel stories in the future for sure! (sorry if the skunk smell followed us to the 2nd cabin, I’m pretty sure it left with us though-LOL!)

Everything was great though we were sad that the jumping pillow, and rock climbing were closed, along with the pool and hot tub. Cabin 149 smelled like skunk - there might be one living under the cabin!

A wonderful location, and great amenities. sadly no public water sources for people in a cabin, getting water was uncomfortable. The only other concern was only one outlet for charging devices. The second outlet was too high up on the wall. I loved the wrist bands, great way to remember the code, the staff were super helpful and friendly.

We stayed in a studio cabin. It was very comfortable and clean. Surprised by how comfortable the bed was. The campground is an oasis! Beautifully landscaped and so clean. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. We highly recommend staying at this KOA!

The only thing that I would say negatively is the hot water in the showers up front. It took forever for it to get warm, but it never really got hot. Besides that, we loved our stay in your beautiful campground.

We stayed at one of the cabins, which was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. The whole place is very clean and beautiful. The shower/bathrooms outside were big and very clean. Staff were nice and friendly. The kids enjoyed petting the goats, jumping and the playground.

We stayed in a cabin deluxe best. Upon arrival to the cabin all windows were open and the cabin reeked of marijuana. Also refrigerator door needs to be switched on how opens. You must stand in bathroom in order to open refrigerator and freezer and can’t access rest of kitchen while using.

We absolutely LOVE coming to Petaluma KOA! This year we stayed in a different cabin than our usual and it wasn’t as great. The heat work intermittently, the shower was so clogged it flooded and felt dirty to shower in, the cabin overall wasn’t as clean. Despite those things we still had an amazing stay and will continue camping! The grounds are clean and safe! Staff is amazing!

My wife and I booked a Deluxe Cabin for our daughter's 13th birthday weekend. We loved our accommodations as they were clean and comfortable. Mike the camp host made sure we had everything we needed from the start to finish. Mike should get KOA camp host of the year for his friendliness and professionalism. We would definitely recommend Petaluma KOA to our friends and family!

The experience for Halloween was much more exciting 2 years ago. We had tons of trick or treaters, tons more decorated campgrounds, live music in the pavilion, etc. This year we had just a few trick or treaters, no hayride, no live music. Kind of a bummer. Everyone thinks it's because you use every weekend in October to do what should be only on Halloween. So we might not go again

Our stay was great overall! Giving 4 stars because, at $400 a night, we expected the cabin to be spotless. Unfortunately, the floors were quite dirty and the surfaces were dusty. Aside from that, we really enjoyed everything the park had to offer.

We were looking of real quiet and peaceful place to take a few days and the Petaluma K.O.A. is always just that ~ super nice !! we love all the hiking in the area with our dog as well ! Will 100% come back ~ such nice employees , always making things just right !!

We had a really good time. My only suggestion would be that the bed needs some attention. The side of the bed near the wall makes noises under the bed and that side of the bed is very soft and slanted making it harder to sleep on that side of the bed. The whole property is well run and well maintained. Thanks for our stay with you.

We had a great stay, but we had to park in a handicap spot because people were parked illegally in multiple spots. We reported it, but nothing was ever done about it. We had to carry all of our stuff over 100 feet from our car to our cabin. The parking needs to be monitored and visitors made to move their cars. One car parked by our cabin was people staying at an RV spot.

The staff is absolutely incredible, very kind/professional. The property is normally well maintained; the inclement weather made it challenging during my stay (I’m sure). Unfortunately, my site (P219) wasn’t the best, my fault for waiting too late to book. It had little grass and a whole lot of dirt (mud when it rained and from heavy dew). That site would definitely make me look elsewhere.

Got to camp 1.5 hours early couldn't check in. In years past we could. Ok, fine so we wanted to visit with family already there, nope would have to join their reservation and pay. Ridiculous!!! I had my own reservation. Just needed to wait for my almost $900 cabin for an hour. In the 12 years I've come this never happened. The prices have raised alot and now the hospitality has changed.

Always a wonderful experience at the Petaluma KOA! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, amazing activities for the kids! Our annual October trip is a family favorite! Only complaint is that even though the grounds are saturated with water, they still water the grass overnight making it nearly impossible to enjoy the grass on your site or the grounds as it’s a mud pit.

The cabin was very nice. Just a few suggestions. You need utensils for bbq. On the decks it would be nice to have a gate at the stairs. The park was very clean and everyone was very friendly.

Our kids really enjoyed the trick or treating event and some of the other Halloween festivities that the KOA put on. We were a little disappointed with the food selection. We've stayed at other KOAs that did smash burgers by the pool, had better breakfast and dinner options, but all we could find were snacks in the store and the Quail food truck that just had some fried food/nachos.

Our stay was wonderful although it rained. No complaints, set in a beautiful setting!! Only disappointment was our unit had a shower that would suddenly deliver cold water while it was turned to warm/hot. The handle did not respond to warmer to warmer temperatures.

It was fantastic! We always have a blast. This is our 3rd visit for the Halloween activities and we look forward every year. My only feedback is that having the parade 2 hours before the trick or treating is tricky. Getting kids in costume, just to get them out or kept clean is hard. Maybe have the parade be the kickoff to trick or treating so that there isn’t that lag between? Would help parent

My only complaint about the entire day was the shower in the bathroom were so high that it just sprayed all the way to the shower curtain when you try to adjust it down it just didn’t work. So for a shorter people, it wasn’t so great because we had to stand so forward

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.
