We enjoyed our stay. things that could have made it better were being able to use the rock wall & knowing that there was going to be a movie night. The last 2 times we came here there were signs posted about movies so we looked for them. But as we were getting ready for bed one night we noticed that a movie was playing & there was no hayrides going on. Seems like a down grade from the past 2yrs.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful which was nice. I was a little disappointed in the campsite because it says they have a petting zoo but it was more so a couple goats you can pet through a cage, the rock wall wasn't open and they advertised the food truck but it was out of majority of the things.. we paid a lot and left the night before check out because it wasn't what we thought.

October trick or treating in the KOA is one of our kids and group of parents favorite stops for the year. It was hot but the swimming pool, lots of trees for shade and convenient stores for drinks made it an easy and fun trip.

The office seemed very under staffed and the food truck had problems all weekend. The kids activities Seemed very unorganized Unlike other trips. We went to get a scavenger hunt twice and they did not have any at the office… bounce pillow wasn’t turned on till 930 and it said on the schedule nine. Overall, we love your KOA bathrooms and cabins were super clean. It also was super crowded…..

I loved the ultra clean camp grounds. The showers and restrooms were top notch. My only complaint was that they didn’t have a microwave onsite for people to use. As comfortable as the movie patio was it was a little too bright to see the screen at night. Other than that the place was quiet, clean, and staff were all very polite.

Love the campground and all the trees, staff is very friendly and helpful. Our stay was only dampened by the lodge we stayed in not being cleaned thoroughly. Floors were dirty and had to be swept, the windows had dead flies, cobwebs and dirty sills �� The sewer backed up but they handled it very quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed our stay despite the issues! Will definitely come back.

The Koa itself was lovely, but I got charged $60 extra dollars than what my confirmation email stated and didn’t get my rewards discount bc I booked 2 cabins and only my father n law got the rewards . I book twice as much and you tell me I don’t get discount . Ridiculous

Very relaxing place. Big n clean pool n jacuzzi!! Love the newly remodeled bathrooms. Cabin is clean. Security drives thru often. Most of all, a very understanding person in front desk made it happen where we can stay at the Redwood area cabin in spite of miscommunication on the reservation. She heard n understood our needs n made a way it possible to stay n have a wonderful time. Thank you.

Great accomodations. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. My only complaint (very minor) is that the hay ride is scheduled at an awkward time, 6 pm is prime time for dinner for young kids so we had to skip it.

The cabin we were in was perfect for us. The cabin was roomy and was mostly beautiful wood. The crew there were outstanding.

We had a lovely stay at the Petaluma KOA. We have two small little girls who enjoyed the jumping pillow and pool most of all. The only recommendation I have is for the quail cafe to have a card reader. I had to help some people put in orders while I put in my own.

Overall, the Petaluma KOA is outstanding! The lodges are great and there are lots of activities for the kids! Two minor things - it is quite expensive! And, the internet did not work at all for the whole weekend. Overall, though, we will definitely be back!

Our stay was lovely. Kathleen was very helpful in making our large group reservation. Communications from the campground as we approached our visit, and during our visit, were timely and informative. Everyone had a wonderful time - there were so many great activities for the kids, and it felt very safe to let the kids ride around on bikes and scooters. We can't wait to visit again.

Came for the first time and was really blown away by this “campground”. Was really more like a rustic resort. My 6 year old had a blast!

The cabins need maintenance and housekeeping attention. The bathroom shower door does not slide properly, the shower backs up and you are standing in 'ankle-deep' dirty water, the kitchen sink backs up...The list can goes on. For the nightly set-rates, the cabins in my opinion should be much cleaner and better prepared.

Love the Petaluma KOA. The staff are amazing and the facilities are well kept. We like having the food truck and well stocked camp stores for anything we might’ve forgotten.

We rented 3 cabins for our Girl Scout troop and they had a blast! There was so much to do that they were busy and exhausted by bedtime. Our only disappointment was that the goats area didn’t open when we arrived at the scheduled time and no one at the desk seemed to know what was going on when we asked about it. Everything else was well organized and lovely. They all want to come back!

6 people, of varying ages, spent 5 days in a deluxe cabin. As 2 of the guests were children, we tried everything: swimming, tie dying,movie, rock climbing, petting goats and jumping, up and down on the trampoline. All the activities were wonderful. We enjoyed them all. Our cabin was cleaned to perfection and very comfortable. My one suggestion is that you put more hooks in the common shower.

We loved our stay. The campground is clean, quiet, lots of things to do for kids/families. Bathrooms and showers are very clean with nice hot water. We will definitely choose this KOA is we are in the area.

If your a child this is a fun place, not much to do for adults. Camp store is very expensive so make sure your brings everything you need. You need to be more inclusive on sizes for tye dye, if your a small child or larger adult you will not be able to participate. Camp ground and bathrooms are very clean.

Run down cabin with ants and spider webs. Fridge froze our food. Work being done all around us, including us having to smell toxic fumes from concrete sealant. Large goopy greasy spill at the BBQ. Should have put us in renovated 282 as requested. Staff I voiced my concerns to could only say “ sorry about that” No discount to rebuy our entire fridge of wasted food or for the dirty cabin.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The kids loved all the activities, the pool and movie night. Our only complaint is the loud music playing at the pool. The music is lousy and we’d prefer to just hear kids playing or some other more neutral music.

I was disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for the entire duration of our stay. Our travel dates were very flexible and had I been notified about the pool closure I would have adjusted our dates so we could use the pool. We stayed in one of the small cabins and while I appreciate that it was clean, the brand of inexpensive cleaner used gave me a terrible headache for our whole stay.

3rd year I’ve stayed- disappointed this year. We came for the pool- and it was closed 4 out of our 5 days. I really feel e should have been comped a night stay or something. I realize emergencies happen - but we paid a lot of money to stay with plans to swim- and had to spend a lot more money finding other things to do in the area.

Was okay, nice grounds. We came to enjoy some pool time but it was empty when we got there Monday and was not open Wednesday morning. Stove wasn’t working and no one came to fix it before we left.

Great venue with a pool, playground, clean bathrooms and showers, convenient food truck, entertainment and petting farm. Simply the best family KOA!

We love your KOA cabins and have stayed with you several times. We did have an issue with hot water in showers on Sat and Sunday of our stay, not a huge deal. We understand that this is a family campground, however the number of little kids on bikes in the roads,unsupervised, does give us pause. We've had some near misses in the restroom area with kids on bikes almost running into us as well.

I had a wonderful stay. The owners are amazing!! The only thing that I would’ve changed is: the grill didn’t work properly, there weren’t enough activities to do with my son, the studio deluxe didn’t have a stove top, no chairs on the porch, not a proper mattress in the loft, one of the lights didn’t work in the cabin, no shelving for clothes, and no cleaning supplies.

Pool was closed, no advanced notice, discount was minimal. No hot water in the cabin shower. Refrigerator froze all the food inside.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
