Beautiful Campground with a great staff. Very enjoyable.

Although it was handy for catching the train and ferry into San Fran, this park is NOT Big Rig friendly whatsoever. They do not trim trees. We had to look at a few sites first, before deciding on a pull through, and we had to have them come and trim trees before we could put our slides out. Then, we had to back out of the site when leaving, because the trees. TRIM THE TREES PLEASE!

Just one night to see if the in laws might want to travel with us in retirement. Very happy. Want to do it again. Weekend before Halloween so the place was busy, busy, busy. Everyone had a good time.

Staff was great. Unfortunately our site was not. Dirt with lots of holes. Also, the power was not adequate and caused problems in our coach.

It was good until PM 11;00 we were going to sleep, but someone checked in beside us. They are 3 teams, 3 cars. Until AM 4:00 young men and women were talking loudly, opeded and closed doors loudly, and turned light on several times. It was a night mare, no employees did anything.

Terrific campground near San Francisco with lots of redwoods. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. We’ll be back. Highly recommend!

THE ONLY NEGATIVE TO AN OTHERWISE EXCEPTIONAL STAY ,WAS THE INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW CASHLESS POLICY. I THINK TAKING AWAY MY CHOICE TO USE U.S. MINTED MONEY IS FOR PURCHASES IS RIDICULOUS, AND WILL PROBABLY BUY ALL THINGS I MAY NEED IN TOWN WITH CASH

We found the park love lovely, large, with many beautiful landscapes sites, kid friendly. There are 2 stores! Unfortunately, our pull-through site was near the 2nd store where the lights are on all night, but that's a small thing.

We always love coming here. We arrive early to participate in the activities and this time we were allowed into our Kabin a little bit early since it was cleaned and ready. I wish the store and food truck were open on Sunday, but I understand staffing issues. Our Kabin was clean and had all the amenities!

We love staying at the Peteluma KOA during October! Hosts and employees are great. Plenty of activities. Lots of Halloween decorations throughout the campground that belonged to either KOA or the campers. Fun night of trick or treat on Saturday evening. It was refreshing to see the kids safely playing throughout the campground with minimal supervision...kinda like a throwback to the 1950s.

Wish there were not really bright LED lights flooding some Rv sites. It’s very intrusive, like near E54.

absolutely no wifi was available at all after contacting tango numerous times. They were always helpful but could never get it working. Shower water was ice cold, no hot water. Pool and jaccuzi opened hours later than advertised. For the amount of money spent on campsite for 2 nights here we did not feel like we got nearly our money's worth and your services are falsely advertised.

Our family loves staying at KOA San Francisco North/Petaluma! The staff are so helpful and accommodating, the facilities are always clean, and the kid-friendly accomodations keep our three grade school aged kids very busy all weekend.

Wonderful Halloween celebration with friends and family. Our 2nd stay. AND, we have already booked for a stay next year. 2025! Well maintained grounds and facilities. Love the trees and vegetation. Personnel great. And we saw Bigfoot in the dark Saturday evening!

We had a great stay, but I gave it a 4 star this time due to our reservation dates & site were changed without my knowledge. We reserved an end site next to our family & paid the lock fee a year in advance. A few days before check in, I received a text message confirming our stay with the incorrect dates and site #. Thankfully Kendall was able to find us another site, but it wasn't as big or nice.

Came with a family group for the children’s tricker treat weekend. Nice set up for the kids. One of the worst spaces I have ever had. For the cost I expected to just pull in and a little leveling. My spot was off on all four sides. (I level with blocks). It was a night mare and I never was able to get it right. Flys were so thick because two large dumpers were within 15 feet of my door

Receptionist was rude. Nobody responded on the text concierge. Not enough bathrooms. Cabins are overpriced. Amenities are nice though!

Groundskeeper Mike was super kind in helping us get situated, the Halloween party was a blast! My daughters, wife and I very much look forward to visiting this KOA again!

Small sites, rules not enforced, big rig unfriendly.

We love the KOA and it is very well kept. It is however very expensive. Paying $150 on a weekend is a bit much when you bring your own house. My grandkids love it so we come for the Halloween event with them. But you pay for everything extra but we do appreciate all the extras. Love the pool and hot tub.

This was our first trip to the San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA and it was wonderful! The campground itself is beautiful, with lots of gorgeous trees towering over many of the sites. We loved all of the amenities and our kids loved visiting the petting zoo, jumping pillow, and especially the very large pool. The campground was super clean and very peaceful. We hope to stay again if in the area!

Took awhile for someone to answer the phone, the hold music is an obnoxious loop of a custom KOA song. The campground is well laid out and since we were only staying the night the front desk let us move to a move level site. Conveniently close to fuel and the freeway ramps.

Made reservation in July was asked if kids answer, no .asked if stayed before, no. Should have been told about Halloween events. Should have been asked if on top of hill a problem. We felt like we were living in a day care center and I could not walk equivalent of 1/2 block. Am 80 years old , bad knee etc. had planned on having family visit but would not put them through day care event.

We had a wonderful stay at Petaluma KOA! It was really fun to see all the Halloween celebrations and great decorations. Had fun visiting the goats and walking around the facility. The KOA is so close to downtown Petaluma where we enjoyed wonderful music at the Mystic theater for two evenings and enjoyed wonderful restaurants downtown thank you Petaluma KOA.

The placement of sewer connection in the Redwood Grove pull throughs is a problem for RV's towing. Many choose pull through to avoid unhooking tow car, but the sewer connection at the back of the pad is too far for a mid point coach drain. This requires unhooking the tow car. Works great for trailers, but not RV's. In most pull through sites, the sewer drain is mid point of the pad.

I loved the new choices at the food truck but wish it was open for dinner during the week. The dump station was locked for early departure when we were told it would be available. You need to do better or charge less for TV "premium" sites without sewer, even tho you have a truck that comes every Am

It was a nice stay. The grounds were clean and the office staff very nice. A couple of problems were that the staff on the grounds didn't seem to know what 5mph was. The little golf carts were being driven recklessly in my opinion and to fast. The only other problem I had was the Internet and TV didn't really work efficiently. Other than the issues listed we had a good time and the kids had fu

Noisy park even after quiet hours, children running everywhere unsupervised . Very expensive, yet one of the least attractive parks we’ve been to.

I love our annual trip to SF North/Petaluma KOA with our friends and family. The pool party is always fun, especially when the Hawaiian dancers show up, and the grandkids love to take the hayride and playground. Keep up the good work!

Then do a fabulous job at all the activities for the kids. Grounds are well kept and very nice. People are excellent. It’s a bit overpriced, that’s my only negative. Yes we would come again.

Liked the fact that the staff was always cleaning and stocking things up before they ran out

Great family destination. We’ve camped here annually for the past 3 years, and booked next years trip as we were leaving.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
