Great time staying at Petaluma KOA. I would have rated the KOA as a 5 star except the bunks in cabin N181 were not made up and the sheets were not fitted. It was very difficult to make these beds given the walls on 3+ sides.

Great people at reception and staff delivering wood. Septic guys were nice also. The site was shaded and we really enjoyed the privacy of it. The only problem is when people went into the storage lot, they raised a lot of dust into our site and this was more often than not. Maybe hosing down the driveway would help this. It was a really nice time. Thank you.

Stayed in Grove, with 40 ft tag axle towing SUV. Exit from site too narrow for this size rig, plus landscaping across from the site & at the site is too close to turn. Damaged my two bay doors on passenger side badly on large rock while navigating exit easily $6K paint & body work! New landscaping nice, but should consider navigating issues!

We were in #229 and someone was supposed to come by daily and pump for us. Did not happen and the next morning we needed to leave by 7am.NO one in office and the pump station was locked. Around 8:30AM the girl came by and unlocked it for us. Another person was there to complain about same thing. Finally 8:30am we got to leave. Not a good thing at all.

The fire pit area had a fowl smell around it. And the television wouldn’t get any picture on it. Other than that we had a good time.

Staff was very friendly and check in was effortless. Spaces were well kept and clean. They have a “scary” pet policy that says they’ll fine you $50 if your pet poops anywhere outside the pet runs. Really? Come on!

The facility is lovely, very clean, staff very friendly. Our complaint is the pervasive livestock smell when ever you go outside, very unpleasant and we were in the A loop A13 and right behind us are full time residents walking through the fence and through our campground, they were polite but it startled me everytime, plus their dog barks. If we return I hope the top A spots are available,

Nice area, good people, construction ongoing but that how a park gets better! They have clean amenities and friendly staff. No sewer hookups in the pull thru but they will pump you out. Internet was inop when I was there and no cable worked. But they are making improvements and I wont complain. All in all and nice place!

We loved our stay. Staff was nice. The grounds and bathrooms were clean. I just wish that the midweek off-season rates were cheaper.

We really like this KOA but we’re disappointed with our site, which was supposed to be one of the best, Site 100… Daily pumping of our tanks was nice until we realized there is no way to thoroughly clean the tanks since there is no hose at the dump station to connect to flush tanks. Also while some site have 30+ stations, we and our neighbors only had 3…

Our stay was fantastic! We are still talking about it weeks after we left. My husband and I do not have children, but if we did--we would bring them to the Petaluma KOA just for the activities. Our dog and cat loved the area--and the cows didn't mind them much either. We would and will recommend anyone looking for a KOA to visit here.

Facility was very nice and well maintained. Our space, A011, however was unsatisfactory due to not being anywhere near level. Our travel companions were in space D010 which was enen worse. We would request different sites for our next visit.

It was great. There was trick or treating on Saturday. We had well over 100 probally 200 trick or treaters come to our site. It was so fun to see the kids so excited. We'll done in advertising it this year. We will be back next year again. We don't get many trick or treaters at our home.

It’s a beautiful and clean park. Out of all the sites to stay in, I believe the meadow was NOT where I would want to stay in again or recommend to stay. The cow field and the flies were overwhelming! There are so many beautiful sites to stay, of course they cost a little more, but way worth a couple more $$. We definitely will be coming back. � a great place to stay.

We love this KOA. The playground and bounce pillow are great and the pool is refreshing on a hot day! Steve is the best! He helped us with several tie dye shirts, which turned out great. He also makes the hay ride so much fun! This was our first time during the Halloween festivities and we had a great time! The only problem we had were the bike and scooter riders after dark. VERY DANGEROUS!

The kids LOVE the playground and activities! Steve is the best with tie-dye and hay ride. We loved the trick or treating. Disappointed in the amount of kids riding their bikes really fast after dark and no site decorating contest or costume winners announced.

Nice variety of sites - we look forward to when you update more of them in the "redwood" section. Nice to have a table with an umbrella. Pool too crowded - it looked like a lot of non- campers where there (judging by the parking lot for visitors) - so that prevented campers from fully enjoying that area. High security gates - kind of a hassle, but a necessary evil apparently!

The sites are well maintained and the location is very convenient. On the weekends, I do recommend you assign a staff person to oversee the jumping pillow to ensure guests are using the pillow properly. My daughter was injured by another child while jumping on Friday despite the signage posted about proper use. Thank you for considering

Had a great pull in spot in the redwoods. Loved staying there. Lots to do around town and we were able to visit relatives. Great place for kids although we did not bring any. So many activities for kids. Fun watching them have fun for Halloween!! Thanks!!

The staff (all of them!) were so great and so friendly. It really stood out. Everything was very clean. Even though it was completely packed, everyone actually got quiet at 10p.m. The pool was great- big and really nice to have. We had a great time!

This was our 4th stay and we were just as happy/satisfied as our first adventure to your campground. The amenities are fabulous and Mr Steve is very attentive and brings about a loving atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else we’ve ever travelled. We come for the kids to find independence, and return because we can’t wait to see Steve again. Happy Halloween!

We had a great time for Halloween festivities. we must give kudos to Steve…that man was everywhere and had the patience of a saint (especially during tie-dye shirts)! We have never been thanked for staying at any campground over our many years of RV-ing….but while packing up Sunday Steve came by on the golf cart and thanked us and expressed his gratitude for our stay! So sweet!!

Great communication by the staff. All very friendly. Fun activities for kids. Only 4 stars because my reservation stated our tent site would be on grass, but not a blade of grass at our specific site.

We absolutely love this campground. You can really tell that the owners continuously invest in this property. Everything is always so nice and new. They offer so much for children but also many quiet and peaceful areas for those traveling without children. We go multiple times per year but love their Halloween festivities throughout October. We love the Petaluma KOA!!

The smell was overpowering. I guess it was fertilizer or the cows, not sure. Just very unpleasant to our sensitive noses! It never did improve :(

The grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful and well taken of. The cabin we stayed in needs attention. The couch was stained so no one wanted to sit on it, and the floors were warped throughout. It felt like we were walking on little hills, especially in the bathroom. Also, the power went out on our last night for quite a while, and no one came by to check our site, or any surrounding sites.

The is my 7 year old’s favorite camp spot because of the playground a petting zoo and swimming pool. We come a few times a year. The cabins are a great deal. Sonoma County is beautiful! The staff is always terrific!

Beautiful campgrounds and dog park!! Geared to kids with the pool, jumping pillow, goat farm, tie dye, rock climbing and the playground (my grandson's favorite!) We loved at the campers Halloween spirit who decorated their campsites. We did a night walk every night to check out the Halloween displays. Easy access from the freeway and close to SF. Hoping to return soon :-)

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
