This Is my favorite close to home Place to stay. Always clean, and friendly staff. Always very accommodating. Park is great, close to nearby things we like to do.

Beautiful spot! Kudos to the groundskeepers for an immaculate campground!! Not crazy about the "VIP" daily septic service, we would have preferred a "full" hookup that included septic.......but we will know how to choose a spot next time. The staff in the store, especially during check-in, could have nicer... but luckily we were rescued by a wonderful staff member who completed our check-in!

We love everything thing about it!

Our campsite was clean and the office staff was polite and helpful. However, the hot tub wasn't working, which is one of the things we always enjoy when we stay at Petaluma KOA.

Great campground, quiet when we went. Very happy with our location for our camper trailer.

I checked out a day early and I didn't get my refund. The experience at this camp was one of my worst camping experience ever. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, television didn't work, and no wifi. These are amenities that were advertised on your website and a reason why I booked my stay. I drove from San Diego to have a bad experience. I would never book at this location.

We stayed at KOA during November and had a great time. Plenty to do in the area. The Tiny House Cabin was nice. We will be back.

Excellent 2 day stay with our RV. Good location to get into San Fran for the day, and slightly off the freeway so it wasn’t noisy. Very good and modern amenities, including the heated hot tub. Shout out to Mike who showed first class customer service, sorting us out! WiFi could be slightly better, sometimes dropped out.

Petaluma KOA has only gotten better over the years! It's expensive, but worth every penny. Top notch facility.

Clean, pretty campgrounds and facilities.

Staff were nice and other visitors were also nice. The KOA was clean and we are very happy.

Was disappointed in service provided. I understand that you have to do upgrades on your cable T V and internet. HOWEVER we stayed 5 nights and did not have either Cable TV or internet. Still we were charged$$ the full amount. Seems to me that a reduction in fees would have been made. Your fees are to high to begin with and no allowance were made. Highly unlikely we will return.

Not so good! We had several things we were not very happy about (and we're NOT complainers!). The first and biggest complaint (and easiest for your maintenance crew to resolve), is that there were TONS of weed stickers all over the ground. We have two golden doodles and they came back in after walking around with hundreds all over them. It literally took 2 hours to pick them out.

Fall winter activities should be offered for the kids. The smell of septic was severely strong.

The space I was given with 2 small children was on the main thoroughfare. So cars were driving past at 30-50mph right in front of our space! Couldn't even let the kids out of the trailer. Boooo

Very nice but as most KOA’s very pricey. We will be back.

Upon our arrival, we were met by Larry, a grounds keeper of some sort, who was very friendly. The staff inside at check-in were very friendly as well. The campsite we chose was clean and just what we needed!! The restrooms were also clean and warm!

We would recommend this KOA, but were expecting a bit more since it’s the most expensive KOA we’ve stayed at earned fabulous reviews. The showers were ALWAYS sparkling clean and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Kids were bummed about missing climbing wall and Gaga put mentioned in the marketing materials. A strong manure smell is fairly constant - No ones fault there, lots of farms aro

I didn't appreciate being so close to the playground. I'm retired. We had both children (teens) and adults, looking into our 5th wheel windows on multiple occasions. The extra parking lot is too far away and I couldn't make the walk uphill. The staff was kind/courteous overall.

We thoroughly enjoyed-our stay. We stayed in site E057 which was perfect. Our camping buddy Bandit loved the grass at our site and enjoyed playing with fellow 4 legged campers as they walked past. We made some new friends too! We are already planning our next visit :0) See you soon!!

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. I just didn't appreciate getting texts saying we'd get 20% off 2 additional weeknights and then only getting 20% off of one. Seems dishonest and your rates are already high.

Rude, abrasive, and pushy people except Taylor. Woody and Mike are extremely rude and lied to me. Pushing around and cheating this 62 year old single female. I will never forgot how much emotional trauma they caused me. Travel nurses beware! Cheated ne on my return. Thank God for Taylor he fixed everything! At least he showed compassion. Certainly not the other two.

Great location to visit San Francisco attractions but the best find was the town of Petaluma. Excellent restaurants, shopping, and a hometown feel you don't find often. The campground has an excellent pool and hot tub and the grounds are kept up extremely well.

Last minute we had to get a site, as always, KOA Petaluma is so helpful and accommodating. Roseanne was able to sneak us in for the time we needed and got us into a lovely quiet site near the fields. Everyone at this KOA, from office staff to facilities workers is always friendly and welcoming. Very beautiful campground, well kept and lots of trees and plants.

Our granddaughter and her patents live in Petaluma. We love the north SF KOA!

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
