Our first time in our travel trailer and this location was great! Super clean and very quiet at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night. Will definitely be back!

I must of called and asked ahead of time 7 times to double check and was told the pool is heated to 75 degrees! The pool is NOT heated to 75 degrees, it is a low 68. And cold. We came when it was chilly. Also, we booked our trip well in advance and was very disappointed that the movie night was cancelled and given priority to a school event. The foam party was also cancelled for no real reason.

The campground is top notch. The cleanliness, the layout design, the restrooms, the amenities set this facility apart from others. The stay was comfortable and peaceful. I like the security to access the camping areas. The only drawback I saw was the higher prices for the stay, at the store and for the propane. I suppose that’s why it is head and shoulders above other locations.

Great location, well maintained, very clean, great for families. It was busy but there was space for everyone. It made trips to point reyes, San Francisco, and bodega bay easy day trips. Will be going back.

Worst KOA experience ever. We usually travel with out travel trailer, but did a quick trip across the USA in a tent. We stayed at KOA's every night.

Had a great stay here in April 2026. The campground is well maintained and clean. Pool and hot tub were nice. Very quiet spot not near busy roads was a bonus also. Wifi was very good and even allowed us to stream Netflix. Many activities for everyone. Would not hesitate to recommend this KOA to anyone.

The park is nice with very good landscaping. The amenities are typical of a normal KOA, not exceptional as a resort should be, or as prices suggest. Our check in was poor. We reserved a patio site and were given a regular site. Had to go out and fix that issue. A big deal is that no one guided us to our site which is normal at KOAs, and especially needed as directions to our site were incorrect!

Very well kept campground, lots of grassy areas for our dog. We had a 100 ft site for a 45’ coach towing a trailer & it was very nice. No sewer but they came each morning and pumped out the tanks, nice guys & it was actually nice having it done every day. We have been camping here for. The past thirteen years and every time is wonderful. The campground is always clean. And the pool is sparkling. Thankyou KOA Petaluma for taking care of your guests. We look forward to returning soon.

We loved our first KOA stay last weekend. It is super safe place for kids to roam around and play. Bathrooms and showers were super clean too. We had a very satisfying stay.

I did not stay more than 10 minutes after checking in. The receptionist was very unpleasant, and the neighbor next to my spot made racist remarks, about us speaking spanish, told us to speak English.

Loved staying at Koa Petaluma. Perfect location, great accommodation. And the staff was very friendly!

Stayed in H114, great spaced but surround by Yew trees. One of the most toxic plants in the World. My dog injested a few leaves which was an immediate trip to the Canine ER. He spent the day there under treatment and observation ($1800) bill! We love the Camp have stayed for many years. Please either remove the trees or put some signs up. The trees and berries are also toxic to Humans as well.

best KOA ever. spotlessly clean. we had a VIP site…very nice. private and quiet! we did not use amenities as we were in San Francisco (less than an hour by car), but the pool looked great. Thanks…we will be back.

We LOVE this KOA! It is GORGEOUS. Grounds are so well maintained and cared for, staff is friendly and helpful and it's so quiet. We love being surrounded by pastures and nature. We'll be back soon.

What a lovely place. Well manicured spots. Private bathrooms and very large and nice dog park. Petting zoo was a plus as well. Large playground and pool for the kids. Lots of very nice cabins as well. While we stayed in our RV, we checked the price of the cabins and they were very reasonable. Wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again the next time we come to San Francisco.

We had a clogged shower tub so it was hard to take a shower in our cabin. Even though we asked someone to come by to fix, no one came by.

Great place for young families, very kid friendly with pool, bounce pad and playground and a small petting area. I had a complaint against some people 6 trailers down about their bass stereo turned up so high my trailer was vibrating.I did go to the office and they said they didn’t consider it a concern.This was at 6:00 pm during our dinner time and something that other RV parks would corrected.

Stay was good except for tent campers that didn’t leash dog,pooped in our site and we both stepped in it. Then we got tent campers that had screaming kids until 10:20pm.

The weather was a factor. It rained so the trampoline was not to be used. As were other things. In our cabin the lights over the stove did not work, not cleaned as expected. However, the grandkids had a fantastic time, even in the rain. We will be back.

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.
