The office staff did not process my paid reservation until I arrived at 8:30 pm. They did not answer when I called the after hours number. I still had the gate code because I had stayed there a week prior and was able to get in to park my RV before they called me back. I chose the first open spot nearest the gate. When she called she was argumentative and said I had no reservation. Wrong!!!

This is the most beautiful KOA. Our camping experience was amazing. We did feel that the older ladies at the front desk were quite rude and were not helpful. But Kendall and a younger gentleman were very helpful and friendly. Kendall was able to give us some suggestions that improved our experience in Petaluma.

Very clean and friendly staff. Spot 155 needs re-asphalting as the spot get flooded with water during rain. The current asphalt is. Not level with the concrete. Other than that an outstanding facility. On other a higher key pad is needed for the gate upon entering so guest do not have to ext there motorhome to key in….

Wow, it’s a huge campground! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. We were just there for an overnight so we picked the least expensive spot with hookups. My only negative was the proximity to the farm and strong manure smell on that end of the campground. The spot was sort of muddy in places. Loved the tank pump out service. Looks like a good place for families.

Positives: spacious grounds, very much enjoyed walking while kids biked. Magnificent trees and maintained plants. Very much enjoyed pool, hot tub and play ground. Unfortunate: jumping ball was closed due to too much rain. Suggested improvements: 1. Wrist bands created conflict with small children and inconvenient when wet. 2 Cafe would be welcome.

When we checked in the staff was so nice and told us if it was too muddy because of the rain they would be glad to move us. The staff is always so nice and accommodating. This is one our favorite local places to stay. It is convenient to a lot of great restaurants. We will be back. It is our Go To place.

We had a lovely site. We appreciated having our tanks pumped daily. Trash and services were convienent. Bathrooms were plentiful and spotless. There is a lot of pride in this campsite amongst all the workers. We look forward to our next stay!

First I have to say that the WiFi was greatly improved during this visit (something that I’ve complained about on several occasions). Although I used our new Starlink for 99% of the time, it was nice to have park WiFi at set up and break down of the RV. Greatful for the updates doing the power outage.

We arrived after dark and the signage for this park was horrible. There were no signs on where to park to check in. There was no assistance available to help us get to our site. We literally, blindly found our site as the site numbers were almost non existent! The sites were so close together we had to squeeze into our site next to folks who were having a fire and the smoke wafted right to us.

It is a nice place. We left in the nick of time because the high winds we bring down big Deodar pine tree branches on my neighbor at your park. I was a Nurseryman all my life & if that was my place I would get a professional tree person to look at your trees to be Safe. Thanks

Regrettably I didn’t get the name of the person working in the office who was amazingly helpful both when I called in to revise my reservation, plus during the actual check in process. She was so nice to me and provided a very high level of professional customer service. Because of her, and the excellent condition of this campground we will definitely return for a longer visit!

We were looking for a quick getaway within 100 miles of our home and found that this KOA is absolutely perfect for that.

It was easy to check in. Was able to stay an extra night. I like the fact that they send you text messages to keep you up on things. The employees are super nice and helpful. Petaluma KOA is exceptionally nice. It’s grown since the last time I was there 20 years ago. I would highly recommend going there.

Nice place. Site's were a bit muddy, but not much you can do about that this time of year. Next time we'll splurge for one of the luxury concrete sites if it's wet out.

We had the most peaceful stay overnight. Our site was so clean, well maintained and lots of space. The woman at check in was friendly and offered great local advice like the light up boat parade. Our dog loved kamp K9 ( thanks for the grass in there ) . The bathrooms and showers were so clean , always appreciative of housekeeping! A beautiful campground. Thank you for everything!

We adore this KOA. It’s beautifully maintained and so spacious. However, if you aren’t going to offer 90% of your amenities due to it being “off season” then you should notify guests well in advance. We’ve never left this KOA disappointed, but we left this time wondering if it was going to be our last. Management didn’t seem to care whatsoever.

We have always stayed here for Thanksgiving but this year almost all of the amenities were shut down- no petting zoo, no hayrides, the movie was only shown one night, no jumping pillow, no rock wall, and the spa was broken. They told us it was off season but it has always been available years passed. The amenities were listed in the welcome email they send days before check in. We will not return

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
