Tent sites were very bad. They just seemed abandoned. Sites were just dry dirt and dead grass. Fire pits are overflowing with old ashes. Tables are dirty and rickety. Ground is hard and bumpy. Sites are small and very close to neighbors. This is not what I would expect for $112 per night. The website says that tent sites are on a lawn. This was not a lawn it was neglected. I feel ripped off.

We have stayed here before in the winter. Everything was green, and no dust. This time this price had gone up $40.00. For $160.00 a night I expect to have green grass at my site, and the site itself should be nicer. We will not be going back. We are not going to pay that much for campsite that just mediocre at best.

The park has an awkward check in system. The propane station can't accomodate on board tanks. There is no room for your Motorhome. The so called grassy areas are filled with stickers that get into the dogs fur. If you don't need a "resort" rv park, don't stay here. Not worth the money.

Would have been a 5 Star stay had it not been for the Ant infestation that occurred in our unit while staying here. Not sure where/how so many got into our unit but it was crazy. Short of that, this resort is A1 and 5-Star all the way around. So much going on and the facilities are 1st class and up there with the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at. It’s Pricey but I would not hesitate to book here a

Beautiful campground. The cable in our cabin for the tv did not work. Friendly staff. The pool can maybe use more shade spots. But overall good place for family and dogs with activities on site

Was very impressed with our first stay here, we are already planning another trip! We stayed in a tent site and there was plenty of shade and flat area for our tent. The campgrounds are very well taken care of, pool was perfect, and our 3 year old LOVED the playground. We all felt very safe and comfortable here. We cannot wait for our next camping trip!

You always know what to expect with the Petaluma KOA. Every detail is looked after. The place is always clean, the staff is always very friendly, and there is always something fun happening. Steve is an all around amazing ambassador to the fun. Andrea and Madeline in the office are very accommodating and friendly, and Mike is always sure to make the place safe and comfortable for all.

The site we were in was nice except for the constant smell of sewer games. It's cleathe septic/sewer system is well over capacity. Nor sure I would come back. Also glad my site was not next to the pool area, what a disaster, it was like being at a concert, music was blasting. Don't go camping to go to a concert.

This is our 4th year in a row and they never disappoint!! Lots of activities for the grandkids to do and several events/activities in the local area! We've been here pre-covid as well and still the kids love coming here!! See you again next year!!

Great amenities and responsive staff, however we were in the barren campsites at the end of the property. Dirt access, not much shade. Terrible for $99/Night. Compared to the rest of the place for RVs (redwood trees, shaded spaces, lovely landscaping) these campsites are a joke. I do not recommend. They seemed like an afterthought to collect more money. RV sites, yes. Camping, big no.

Great place to stay. The campgrounds are beautiful, and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. There are so many things for the kids to do! Absolutely the best KOA campground!

We love it here. We have stayed several times. I have a suggestion the water trough. Maybe a water bowl instead. So it can be dump out when it gets dirty. I notice the last several times we have been there the dogs get in and plays in it. The water dirty and not being dump is a breeding ground for giadia and other not good stuff otherwise the dog park is great and thank you for keeping the park so

Great place and location! My only complaints are the dryers are a pain to use because of needing an app and the coffee is way overpriced and not good.

The only issue we have with this KOA is the cabins don’t have A/C. The cabins are very clean and well stocked. Plenty for the children to do and we love all the activities that are available.

Teh koa is very nice with lots of improvements since my last visit. However, I was ver y disappointed with my cabin.. no shade, ants in the cabin, mediocre tv you can barely see. I asked for a cabin with shade dogs and got tej hottest one there!! No grass like the others, no shade even in the early evening .. not listened to when I called . Couldn’t use porch at all. Why I left early.

The campground was clean. Staff were ready to assist whenever called upon. Fellow campers were friendly and welcoming. I heard "hello neighbor" several times during our stay. Fantastic KOA!

The camp site need some serious � work. The spot we were at, (3 together), "F" had great shade, but the gravel and dead grass was little to be desired for the cost of $170 a day. I'd suggest doing 2 rows at a time scraping, asphalt or concrete and put astroturf in with cut outs for trees to be watered. The pool and other buildings were A+ the sites is were you need improvements at.

Easy check in process, my deluxe cabin was clean (both the cabin and linens), overall campgrounds were clean and easy to get around.

To start, there was a huge backup at check-in. There were no signs or employees outside directing the check-in or any place to pull over and park. Vehicles were backed up 7-8 deep, blocking the road. After check-in, It was as little confusing how to get to our site. The internet was so slow, it was useless. Also, the trees need triming as they were hitting our motorhome as we drove though

As seniors, we use the campground as a place to relax and then visit nearby places like Sebastopol to play golf and Bodega Bay to enjoy the ocean. The cabin was new for us this year, usually bring our travel trailer. We enjoyed sitting out front and greeting the people walking by and watching the children play.

Check in was a bit hectic do to a mass of RVs getting in at the same time. The staff did a good job getting us all checked in. Our site was ok but the rest of the campground more than made up for it. The grounds were immaculate and the amenities were the best. Even had a petting zoo, outdoor movies and lots of public gas fires pits to enjoy during the movies. We can’t wait to return.

Best KOA so far. Wish I could afford to stay longer. We started on the left foot. Because we didn’t understand the difference between a full hook up and a full hookup with a honeywagon stopping by in the morning. But the girls at the reception where patient in explaining and JUSTIN found a way to get the cassette for the black water in our German trailer clean! Thank you !

One of the nicest KOAs we have been to. The bathrooms, showers and pool were clean modern and nicely designed. There is only a few places that don't have trees. It's certainly on the expensive side, though.

I stay alot but am getting more and more disappointed , the last time i always get a patio spot it was dirty then this time they gave me a back in to mall for my truck and trailor , the staff could care less , but because thats the only game in town they have a not caring attitude

The campground was beautiful and well maintained. I was not happy that the staff who checked us in used our rewards points without asking and the fees to do the laundry as well as camp there were higher than any KOA I have been to in my travels through 28 states.

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
