Was a nice KOA had Halloween events for children for us and being older and no children that was a little hectic but in a good way children everywhere If you have kids this is the place to be

We were tent camping so the experience was a bit different because the bathrooms are farther away and the sites in our area were small. Overall, it was a great place to connect with our family who were RVing across the country.

KOA website gives a list of things to do, same things that my family was able to do a few years ago. When I went for my booking, I came to find out that they removed a lot of things, even tho their website states they have them. I specifically booked to be able to take my son around the area with rental bikes. I came to find out they didn’t have that. Tbh I want a portion of my invoice refunded.

Absolutely fantastic campground! Well maintained, flat and very level sites. The pool area was really great and their groundskeepers are awesome. Lots of shade and beautifully maintained flower beds. The staff were very friendly and they even delivered wood directly to your site at your request. The decorations for Halloween were so fun. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

GREAT facility! The office staff people with which we interfaced on two occasions seemed a little distant. In other words we didn’t feel as welcome as has been our experience at other KOA’s.

We had so much fun with our first KOA experience The studio cabin was perfect for our family. The kids loved the pillow pad and pool. We came on a rainy week so didn't get to enjoy them as much as we wanted, but it was fun.

The campsite, facilities and activities were wonderful. Check in was easy and the amenities were cleaned. They even have movie night every night. The only downside to the whole experience were the flies. There were a lot of flies everywhere which made it hard to eat at the campsite and enjoy your time. If I were to stay there again, I’d probably opt for one far away from the pool and petting zoo

Excellent pool and lounge areas. Appreciated ample shade coverings. Liked firewood delivery and purchase by text. Freeway noise pollution very unpleasant. Please add earplugs to general store. Many divots and uneven ground in grassy camp areas creates trip hazards; unsafe to walk and difficult to set up equipment. Check-in line not efficient having cars/rigs park in a single file lane.

5=upset that you moved us to a different campsite then reserved. Extra fee to hold reserved site feels like extortion. You have every right to impose whatever policies you like but it seems excessive and petty to charge more to hold the site I choose. 1st time with you and we probably won't be back. moved us right next to the noisy pool.Really amazing staff, very clean facilities. Too bad

What a lucky find. We were breaking up a 12 hour drive north and picked Petaluma KOA as a halfway point. We only booked for an overnight and got a pull through so we were in and out but got to explore and what a great place! We plan on returning so we can spend more time here. Great dog park, kid friendly but still some quieter areas if preferred.

We love Petaluma KOA. We have been here so many times.But this time cabin wasn’t clean and specially floor wasn’t washed and our allergy is triggered so bad because of so much dust.Cabin site used to be nice and green,grasses were on the field but this time there wasn’t any grasses and looks old and dusty. It seems they are not taking care of the site grasses anymore! Hope they will fix the

we paid 100$ for a site with no water or electric, horrible spot in the back by the storage and had to park our other truck in overflow, very inconvenient, loud music and neighbors all night, worst night camping. We will never book a KOA ever again.

Although there are many campsites- typical of a busy RV park-- this campground is laid out so well that it doesn't feel crowded. The many trees and careful landscaping add to the "in the woods" feeling. SO many activities for kids! Beautiful, clean, huge pool! Highly recommend this KOA!

This park is huge and is like really camping except you have electricity and showers. Biggest dog park I've seen anywhere in my travels. You can hear the ocean. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. We've been coming since before my grandson was born. He just turned five. We cant wait to do it again next year. I love how its very family oriented. Its also very wheel chair friendly. The swimming pool is even set up for ADA. Which was great. Everyone is very friendly,and helpful. They keep everything very clean. Thank you so much to all the staff.

Tent sites were atrocious! They were on the side of a hill which was gopher hole and ant infested. There was absolutely no privacy or shade. You shouldn't offer tent sites if you can't meet basic tenting needs including level, even ground and a small amount of shade. By far the most expensive, worst tent site I stayed in during a 6 week camping trip across the US.

We have been calling the SF North Petaluma KOA "home" for a few years now! Although we are still considered full time nomads, having this place to come home to is a real comfort. Not only is it one of the most beautiful parks we've ever stayed in, the people are amazing! We feel valued and cared for when we are there and know our rigs in storage are safe and secure. We highly recommend this park!

We have stayed here long term off and on for several years now. The management and staff has always been accommodating to our needs and requests. The park is great for kids to play and always offers lots of different activities to keep us entertained.

I would just say this to anyone considering staying at this KOA: Be prepared that on Friday & Saturdays, this place is packed to capacity and it is mostly locals from the surrounding counties. There are dozens of children racing through the campground, most unaccompanied by any adult. They throw trash on the ground and have no consideration for anyone's campsite. Just be aware!

Not very big rig friendly, tight turns and low hanging branches. Unless you upgrade, your patio area is dirt with Voles digging while you relax. The weekend brought a big group or groups of kids which is ok but made it difficult to navigate to your site because of all the bike and foot traffic.

We love S.F. North/Petaluma KOA! Our mobile work brings us to this central location several times a month. The grounds are beautiful, the environment is safe & clean. all the staff is super friendly, efficient, and accommodating! We are SO grateful to call this resort our “home away from home!” A big THANK-YOU to Koa!

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.
