I love this KOA, I've stayed once in an RV and this time in a tent site. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean facilities and such a great location. I will definitely return.

This was a gorgeous camping area, many shade trees for the tenters. The grass tent sites were flat and comfortable. We appreciated the evening worker, Jason. He was a great guy and very welcoming! Nice, clean facilities, too! 10 out of 10 would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

This may be the best KOA I've stayed at. The grounds were beautiful, pool was great, a cafe on site, and a well-stocked store. The desk host was super nice. The campsites were spacious. My only complaint was just as I got comfortable in my tent site, the obscenely bright street lights came on (like the sun); had to move sites. Plus side: there were lightening bugs all over. Close to the missions.

Our Girl Scouts had the best time and were able to do so many things. Thank you so much for the Fishing Derby, the barrel rides and just the overall experience. They did so much over the course of the weekend, working on badges and patches; having fun in the pool and just getting to hang out with one another. This was a great way for them to meet new friends. Your facility made that happen!

Wonderful campground! First time staying at a KOA and I was amazed at how comfortable our stay was. I was in the deluxe tent area.

My stays at KOA are always amazing! Booking is seamless thanks to Kelly, especially for our co-op group trips. Storms cut this visit short, but Kelly helped with a refund for power issues. Jen was kind and helpful, but the staff member after her on 4/20/26 lacked empathy. Rating 3�� due to that experience.

This place was so perfect for my family, especially if you are use to certain lifestyle amenities, but still want to experience the outdoors. 10/10, the staff were super friendly and very accommodating. We will be returning customers! Thank you KOA for the experience!

It's a gorgeous campground with plenty of room at the tent site. Everything was well maintained, and all of the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming!

First time staying at a KOA. This place was great. I park in the tent area and at this time of year was only me...glorious. It back up to Salada Creek Greenway nice walk. The park was clean and safe. It was wonder waking up to playing squirrels, chirping birds and a crowing goose who thinks he is a rooster. I will be back

The stay itself was very nice, as usual. This time though, we had a couple of instances where we had been told things prior at the time of booking regarding policies and when checking in were told the opposite information which, had we been aware of at booking time, we would have been able to plan accordingly and adjust. It just seemed as though there was a lack of communication amongst the team.

This was my second time staying here. I bring my 4.5 year old to tent camp. I was very disappointed to learn UPON ARRIVING that both the main hall and game room were closed for private events. This needs to be advertised better because those amenities are an important aspect of choosing this location. Additionally, it’s unreasonable to have these facilities closed for more than an hour at a tim

For us it was last minute booking and we were accommodated nicely. It was just me and the kiddos this time and we had a great time. Unfortunately the WiFi did not want to cooperate and the connectivity was totally unreliable. Mosquitos were pretty bad this weekend as well. Facilities were great, amenities and staff were great as usual.

Our first time staying here with a tent as a family and everything was perfect. Quiet, peaceful, the facilities were immaculately clean! I think I found a local spot for when I or my family just wants to get away from everything and relax. WiFi/Internet wasn't the best but wasn't a deal breaker. The 30 amp connection didn't work at our campsite, but the other receptacles did. Overall we enjoyed!

It's a really nice campground. We were helped by one of your great employees Ron H. Ron went above and beyond in helping us contact Uber when my wife left her phone in the car. We were able to get her phone back that same night. We are really grateful to Ron for his help. We greatly recommend this KOA to everyone.

I loved the campground, the staff, and all of the amenities they had to offer. There was such a peaceful atmosphere there. The only thing that got in the way of that is the amount of biting insects. If there would be a way to treat the grounds somehow for chiggers and mosquitoes, this would have been the perfect stay. It wasn't enough to deter me from staying here again in the future, though!

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!
