We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alamo KOA. The campground was impeccably clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Great patio cafe and community building. The best RV park we have experienced!

The best KOA we've ever stayed at. Great site. Fantastic people. The maintainers are top notch! You need to stay here If you're in the area. They will take care of like no one else. We'll be back.

We had two nights. The staff are friendly and helpful. The park is very nice. We had a drive through space for our 24 foot RV so plenty of space for us. Bathrooms were clean and spacious and the hot water was hot with good pressure. efficient public transport close by that got us into and out of San Antonio without any hassle. A great stay and would stay again if ever in the area.

The staff was very courteous and satisfied all our needs. Also, park and facilities are kept very clean. On future trips, we will be looking for KOA's to stay at.

Like most KOA's it was nice. Well taken care of. Breakfast was an unexpected nicety. The only real issue (as with most campgrounds that advertise WiFi) is the WiFi was less than useful. Had to plug in my Starlink for myself, and friends.

By far, the best KOA we've seen out on this trip, and we stayed at 4 or 5 so far. Best kept grounds, paved roads and the friendliest staff. Great job.

Our spot was perfect—-right on the bike trail. We loved the convenience of the patio cafe, and we ate there three times. The food was great. Location was close enough to town to bike or uber. Very clean facilities that were constantly being cleaned and the grounds tidied while we were there. First stay at a KOA, but likely not our last.

We’ve stayed at several KOA around the country and we feel by far that this one was the best so far. It provided for all of our needs, was conveniently located, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for helping us lead a #straycompasslife

Fantastic time! I haven’t been to this Koa in about 30 years. My parents and I would stay here all the time when I was younger . Now I get to bring my own family. We had a blast! Ping pong, Bingo, swimming, the train ride and the grounds are beautiful. We will be back!

I really enjoyed our stay, we even extended our stay by 3 days. It is a hidden gem, I would differently stop here again on my way to Texas. It was a very clean Resort and the RV spots are very long.

We stayed here in 2024 and stopped again for 2 nights. Convenient location to Ft. Sam Houston. Facilities were clean and well-kept. Staff was outstanding. My site was between 2 wifi towers and strong signal; however, the signal was lost once entering our Airstream and resorted to using my cell as a hot-spot. Needed a larger spot and staff quickly accommodated our move to another.

This campground is the most well-maintained campground we have ever stayed at! Your hard work and attention to detail shows. Everything is up to date and everything works very well. Great job!!

We have travelled all over the US. This is the most well-maintained KOA we have ever stayed in. The grounds crew is constantly at work; the Park itself is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Patio Cafe is an outstanding touch with excellent food and service. If camping in San Antonio, we highly recommend this KOA.

This is without a doubt the nicest, cleanest, best run park we have ever been to. We have stayed twice in the last few years.

Stayed 3 nights with two pups. Only suggestions is more Shoer/Bath Houses and pet waste stations.

Fantastic RV Oasis in San Antonio! A resounding 5 stars for the San Antonio Alamo KOA! As full-time RVers we've seen our fair share of campgrounds, and this KOA truly stands out. Everything during our stay was exceptional. The RV sites were spacious, well-maintained, and provided easy hookups. We were particularly impressed with the overall cleanliness of the entire park, from the sites themselves to the common areas. It's clear the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment. Speaking of the staff, every interaction was a pleasure. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure guests had a great experience. This level of customer service really makes a difference. The amenities here were a big plus. The on-site Cafe was a convenient and enjoyable option for grabbing a delicious breakfast. We also loved having access to the sparkling pool, which was a perfect way to cool off and relax. The adjacent walking area next to the park was great for stretching our legs and enjoying some fresh air without having to venture far. Overall, our experience at the San Antonio Alamo KOA was top-notch. From the practical aspects like great sites and cleanliness to the enjoyable amenities like the cafe, pool, and walking paths, all underscored by a fantastic staff – we couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend this KOA to fellow RVers and anyone looking for a wonderful stay in San Antonio! We will definitely be back.

We just completed our stay at the San Antonio.Alamo KOA Campground. What a lovely facility! The staff was super friendly, the park is very clean & free Margaritas Friday was a nice surprise! If we come through San Antonio again we will definitely stay here again!
