Four Fall Weekends
Oktoberfest San Antonio
This year we will celebrate Oktoberfest with some good food, good beer, and good company! Join us to celebrate this tradition from Munich in 1810. On October 12 of that year, the future King Ludwig got married to Princess Therese von Sachen-Hildburghausen. They invited the entire city to attend the celebration, which included a large feast and horse races.
Día de los Muertos
San Antonio, Texas has a centuries-old tradition of celebrating Día de los Muertos. The tradition originates from Mexico, where the Aztecs had a month-long festival dedicated to honoring the dead. Today, San Antonio is known for its colorful and cultural celebration of the dead, which includes altars, art, and shopping. Join us at the campground this year to honor your loved ones who have passed.
Two Fall Weekends
We are camping so hard in The Fall of 2024! There are so many ways to camp at our campground and we are adding some fun activities to explore nature, learn various crafts, make some s'mores, have some lovely apple cider, and everything else in between that you love to do while camping on the weekend.
Our Annual Thanksgiving & Potluck
Every year, for our guests at Thanksgiving, we provide the turkey, dressing, gravy, rolls and water/iced tea. We ask you to bring your favorite side dish to share! Please let us know in advance if you plan to join us for this fellowship. For registered guests, it is $5 per plate. For our guests who will have guests of their own, but not registered to stay at the campground, the cost is $10 per plate. Proceeds go to the KOA Care Camps fund which provides camping experiences for kids fighting cancer!
We will begin serving the Thanksgiving Meal at noon.
