We love this park and stay there when ever we come to San Antonio.

All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Campground is very clean, well layed out and maintained. Very close to the river walk and a shuttle service outside the campground if you don’t want to drive downtown. Bathrooms are clean and the pool even though we didn’t use it looked very nice.

Since we do not use any facilities outside of our site, the price is to expensive for retired to stay there. Will not be back.

Very well laid out and operated! There are many creative kid’s activities in a clean event hall next to a small cafe. The playground is adjacent to the event hall as well. One of the safest and well planned Halloween events I’ve seen at a KOA!

Very relaxing and peaceful. Friendly staff and well maintained property.

The parking spots are white rock and make entirely too much dust when driving thru them to park , the fire pits are too close to other campers , we had someone arrive late and started a fire to cook on pit next to our coach and filled our coach with smoke smell it was horrible . The wind was blowing maybe that contributed to the smoke , it made our stay very unpleasant . KOA may not be for us !

Fantastic sites, quiet and peaceful yet extremely close to downtown and many things to do with the kids or adults. Nice clean water with gfreat pressure and the entire facility was maintained to perfection

I was greeted at the door with a very friendly person who was extremely helpful and sweet. The place was full of interesting bits of artwork and very clean. No one mentioned the sculptures across the road from the campsite that were beautiful. We will stay there again!

Our site was a little narrow and couldn’t fit table next to camper. Also trailer hit low hanging tree limbs Staff were super friendly and conveniently located to downtown

Our stay was ok, but the spot we stayed in, had some nuts that kept hitting our RV. Not very restful for us!

Alamo KOA is a nice Campground. Quiet during the night, good and consistent power, water pressure. Had events for the kids.

Very impressed with camp itself and staff.

Nice spot, site was new, a little narrow for the camper, because of the pad, but it worked. Nice amount of trees. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Great park. Clean and dog friendly. One suggestion, put a can of hot dog chili in the store.

Like most KOAs there are many amenities - laundry, play area, cafe, shop, propane refill & more. Early Oct the camp was far from full. Lots of trees so most sites get shade. Clean bathrooms. Path along Salado Creek that you can bike/walk for several miles. Our only issue was the wifi barely worked and we got kicked off repeatedly. Other equally large campgrounds we’ve visited had good wifi.

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!

By far in the top 5 RV resorts I have spent time in. Jeff and his crew do an amazing job.
