We love this campground but I'm afraid our future stays here will be limited. The price has gotten out of hand. I stayed there back in January of 2025 and the price was already higher than most. I returned in November and the price had taken a huge jump so I shortened my stay. I have another stay planed for this coming January but again, I will not be staying as long as I would have due to cost.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alamo KOA. Staff were the best ever...extremely helpful and very friendly. Grounds were stunning and very amenities very clean. Little shop was well stocked and little organised events/breakfasts/dinners were run well. Highly recommend this campground, really hope yo come again

This was our third stay at this park and enjoyed it even more! We ate at the cafe that is available for breakfast and evening meals and had probably the best cauliflower crust pizza ever! They offer regular too �

We love this campground! But their recent increase in price has caused us to rethink if we will stay there in the future. A $20 per night increase is pretty steep.

Friendly and helpful staff, very nice park, the trails are awesome, and I really appreciate the free pancakes for veterans. Everything was great!

Combat camping in is not my idea of fun. Won't be camping there ever again. Also if your sweet dog has even 1/8 pit, you can't stay here. Definitely marking as a never go again park. So far all our KOA stays ha ebeen amazing. Just not at KOA Alamo.

Great place! Note: dump station rinse hose leaks at top connection. It sprayed water all over our rig. Assume it is hard water so will spot our motorhome & be hard to wipe off once it drys.

Great campground in the heart of San Antonio. Great setting and wonderful staff. Facilities are well maintained. Adjacent to the Salado Creek Trailway. A big plus.

San Antonio Alamo KOA was very nice and well taken care of! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really like the security, it was gated and security checked incoming vehicles. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about this campground from feeling secure to the amenities and the distance from all that we came for. We spent time at the pool relaxing & tried the wings & pizza. Very clean. Trash pickup every morning & the staff was awesome! We will definitely be back when we are in this area!

Great RV park. Very clean with many amenities. We were not there long enough to enjoy many of them. Be careful with your fur babies, some sites have sticker burrs.

We had a nice patio with fire ring. Employees were helpful and courteous. Activities were fun. My grandson rode the train and had a blast on the playground. I enjoyed bingo. We both enjoyed the movie night with popcorn. Grounds are well kept with lots of trees. Nice KOA.

Excellent park, very friendly staff, well maintained and easy to navigate with big rig. This KOA is gated and on the city bus for easy access to the River Walk and downtown area. Will stay here whenever in the area.

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!
