Well maintained property along the Salado Creek greenbelt. Not in the best part of town but it’s greenbelt location feels like your in a secluded park aside from traffic noise. The Cafe is nice and convenient. Good pool and various camper activities make it one of the better KOAs around. Cottages are good ���

Stayed 2 nights in a dry camping cabin and everything was perfect. The place is super clean, the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.

Great secluded cabin with an awesome view. Had to get more coffee as it was not enough for 4 adults for 3 days. Loved the gated facility and having a guard in the shack. Saw security driving around and it was extremely appreciated. Pool was not unlocked, but once the office was advised they opened it. The play station was great for my nephew. I had family visiting from out of town for three weeks and came to see them throughout their stay. We all enjoyed the different activities the staff hosted, as well as the relaxed atmosphere and very clean grounds and amenities. I rented a cabin New Year's Eve and would have stayed much longer if I could. My family and I truly loved it there and it felt like home. Can't say enough about this KOA.

I love this park we alway stay here when in the area, but was highly disappointed when charged 220 for a night, when the cabins were mostly empty. Also I was told they had breakfast and dinner on Wednesday and the did not and we were not prepared for that.

We stayed for the Inaugural San Antonio Marathon. It’s the perfect location to the convention and start/ finish lines. The trail system goes right next to the campgrounds. We love staying here. The whole staff during the elf weekend: Ross. Dolores, AnnMarie (she did activities) and Kim all amazing and wonderful. Got to see Mrs. Alyssa. Other staff members where hospitable too= family.

My two daughters and one grandson and I spent a couple of nights there since our camper friends are in the RV spots. The cabins were nice but as we were all grown-ups �. The two bunk beds which are really for kids were a little uncomfortable. But you do have a very nice campground and when we're camping we always love the KOAs �

The cabin was very clean, cool or warm (as needed) and fit well for our 2 adults with 2 pets. My only complaints was that the TV reception was terrible (cold wet day had to stay indoors) and the internet was nearly as bad

We enjoyed our stay as usual. However all 7 days, the employees who work outside the office were not friendly. Maybe they have been instructed to avoid contact with campers. On another note, the "full time" kids tended to be "boss" around our grandkids like they were superior. We've been rving to KOASA since the mid 80s and have never had this experience before. Please keep it family fun.

We felt the price did not live up to the amenities provided. For more than $300 per night, decent toilet paper and paper towels could have been provided. The pond was stagnant and smelly. It is a great location, but truly overpriced. $200-$250 per night would have been appropriate for October/November weekend stay. I would come back if less expensive.

We got to stay in the brand new furnished Cabin. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was very comfy with queen bed w/linens and full restroom included! We will rent this Cabin in future now that we know it is available. The Park is always friendly and lots of things to do. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Good experience. Clean, well maintained. (Except: ceiling vent in the family bathroom) Friendly service. Helpful in relocating us to a different site when a big storm soaked tentsite 13. Pro: site is close to the bathroom. Con: it receives waterflow through the site. Lots of fun recreation opportunities. Park. Pavilion. Pool. (Fishing pond needs attention and stock.) Laudromat and store helpful.

It's like another world. Children were well behaved and supervised. Always fun activities going on. The only drawback was the pond had a severe algae outbreak and the fish were missing. I like to catch and release at the pond.

Our cabin & stay was nice. Staffers & people were friendly. I'm aware the place is mainly for camping and people have their vehicles. We were there on the grounds for an event without transportation, senior citizens, out-of-state guests, large luggage, not familiar with the area and no car. Having a golf cart would have been wonderful. Suggestion: Rent golf carts to guests.

The staff is outstanding, friendly, prompt and professional. The campground is very clean and staff is very attentive. The campground is beautiful, with lovely trees and a beautiful pool. Our only issue was chiggers. Hopefully before we return the grounds will be sprayed and free of them.

Had a wonderful visit in San Antonio. The campground was very well maintained and the staff was friendly. Activities were abundant, very fun and so much to for the family. I even won BINGO, which was very entertaining. Will definitely be back and bringing family with us next time.

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!
