Pro: Loved almost everything about this KOA, i.e., the Patio Cafe, bath house, pool. Con: I am not a fan of "camping" next to long-term "camper" with a lot of junk, i.e., dog fence, dead plants, it looked like a homeless person was staying there, and there are several like this. If I would have known there were people who stay long-term, I would not have booked to stay there.

Stayed over the Easter weekend. The park and restrooms were very clean. We do not have small children but there was a lot for children to do there. Bus stop was acroos the street and the staff was extremely helpful.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have EVER stayed in. The grounds were beautiful and beautifly kept up. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There were lots of things to do without leaving the campgrounds when we weren't sightseeing. The sites were spacious...we didn't feel like we were packed in like sardines. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Very nice park with lots to do. Nice breakfast and area to eat. Lovely river trail path and the squirrels are fun to watch. Well maintained park. Easy access to the city bus system to the Alamo and river walk.

Probably the nicest RV park we have ever stayed in !!! Beautifully kept, huge shade trees, excellent facilities. If we could have, we would have stayed longer

Do you really want me to tell you cabin that we were staying in,Had bed bugs? Had to take my wife to the ER not very happy about that. we were in cabin KK 1.

Nice facility, although would be nice if K9 park had more grass. Everyone was so friendly.

this KOA has and is near many activities, golf, fishing pond, pool, playground, bike trail, Frost Bank Center nearby. the store has many items. the Patio Cafe has breakfast item and pizza and wings in the evenings plenty of activities for the kids and family

The campground was very nice and the staff was excellent. I won't stay again or recommend the park because of the new rule regarding reservations. It is not realistic to expect RVers to book from the first of the month to the first of the next month only. Every other KOA we have stayed allows us to make reservations from any day of the month (for example the 7th to the 7th), but not here.

Beautiful, quiet campground close to Frost Bank Center and only 10 minutes from Pearl and Riverwalk. The only thing that would make this place better is some grass in the dog park. Our retriever was trashed after us throwing her ball for an hour.

Very kind staff, always working hard cleaning, or doing fund raising around the pool. They will offer snacks and Margaritas at times. all they ask, if possible is for a donation to a good cause. Nice clean Pool area. Restaurant onsite for breakfast or dinner, Bike path right next to campground. Bus #24 across the street brings you right next to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Thanks! Jane and Paul

Great location if you are coming to do the riverwalk, etc. Campground was clean. I especially liked the security- gates, guard at the gate at night. Tons of things to do on the grounds. They had activities daily, and even had breakfast and dinner options. If you are visiting San Antonio, book it.

Our family absolutely enjoyed the pool and were even able to enjoy the margaritas and chips and salsa. Plus cookies! We had to leave early so weren’t able to check out breakfast but everyone there was so helpful and kind.

This was a great location when visiting the city sights like the Alamo and River Walk. We took a Lyft both ways and the total cost with tips was less than $30. The facilities at the KOA were very clean and convenient. Being a gated RV Park, we felt very safe

Easy and easy off I 10 our first time staying here was a delight. The general stores seemed to offer everything. I love the text about coming down to the café for hot pancakes. The security was nice. Also that swimming pool and hot tub and fountain was a very nice touch. I loved all the large shaded trees. I also loved the paved bicycle path right next to the KOA that goes 4 miles down the green

We stayed 3 nights in site S1 with our Great Dane Denali. We have been travelling since November 1st 2025 and this was the first time that she had her own area and had a bit of freedom. Will definitely be back.

We had a pretty poor experience at a different rv park. Found your park, called to see if you had availability and the gentlemen that my husband talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. Saved our Spring break plans with our family.

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!
