We stayed a week and as always clean, friendly and helpful, with fun things setup to do. The location is awesome close to things but the actual park is quiet and protected. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. The highlight of our stay was the fishing.

The park is great, except there are no doggie stations anywhere to be found, other then the dog park. That's just very poor design. This needs to be fixed.

The grounds & facilities were well maintained and staff was friendly. However, the unprofessionalism of one member regretably overshadowed the positive experience we have had at the SA/Alamo KOA previously. We do not feel that this incident during our stay measured up to what we expect from a Holiday KOA (or any other campground). Management sadly did not appear interested in our concerns.

A bunch of kids and parents came in to the hall at about 8:45 PM and began beating on the empty tables with pool noodles and shouting. Then they played loud othanized games and sword fought to annoy us.

Very nice campground! It is very well taken care of and there is a nice cafe, even though we didn't use it! The WiFi could be better. Definitely would stay again!!

Nice facilities, check in easy, escorted parking great, super lady working the cafe on Saturday morning, layout was spacious, super walking/biking path.

The full time Host/workers have taken over the park, are rude and confrontational. Management made claims provided by host/workers that were not true nor did Kelly ask us what happened before sending us an accusing letter. Allowing what took place was observed by our airstream group (22 rigs) and they were mad and appalled. 3rd time we have brought our caravan here and for sure is the last.

Great RV park Internet definitely needs to be improved and updated! Pond was also covered with algae. Needs to be cleaned up.

Great campground, close to downtown San Antonio and they have a city bus that will pick you up across from the entrance and take you to the Alamo. Great little pizza, wing and salad cafe that will even deliver to your campsite and friendly, helpful staff.

The San Antonio KOA was a wonderful spot to stay for 4 days on our TX bbq tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. They offered breakfast and dinner at The Patio cafe and fun activities on the weekend. We would definitely stay here again when we pass though in the future!

My stays at KOA are always amazing! Booking is seamless thanks to Kelly, especially for our co-op group trips. Storms cut this visit short, but Kelly helped with a refund for power issues. Jen was kind and helpful, but the staff member after her on 4/20/26 lacked empathy. Rating 3�� due to that experience.

Nice KOA. Probably a bit overpriced, as many KOA's are. This KOA is an OG from the mid 1900's. It's been well maintained and kept up. Nice large trees. Would stay here again.

this KOA is beautifully well kept! the cabins are always in great condition, the customer service is wonderful and the visitors are always lovely. I come here yearly with my boyfriend and sometimes with my family and I love it!!

This place was so perfect for my family, especially if you are use to certain lifestyle amenities, but still want to experience the outdoors. 10/10, the staff were super friendly and very accommodating. We will be returning customers! Thank you KOA for the experience!

Very nice campground! My only complaint was there is no ATM on site, so when I didn’t have cash to change to quarters for laundry, I wasn’t able to do it unless I wanted to drive to find one.

Disappointed to see the pool heater still wasn’t fixed since telling us bk in January they were waiting for parts. It’s now April and the water was freezing. We’d love to see the train run Thursday-Weekend. Other KOA Holidays run it daily at 2pm. Your staff is great! They’re always helpful, cheery, and talkative. Very clean kept campgrounds. Staff friendly. Nice area for your dogs to go . Laundry room clean and well kept. Nice area to sit outside while laundry is being done.

We loved our stay! It was quiet and relaxing while still being located within an easy distance of the city attractions!

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!
