My family had a great time there,so much to do.. the pool is great and the drinks and pizza by the pool was great, can't wait to come back for our next outing.

We made a last minute reservation and they were very accommodating. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the resort and have not been disappointed. Easy access off of I-10.

The facility and staff were great. The only negative I experienced is that the main pavilion in not suited for summertime activities as it’s not climate controlled. Texas heat can really shut social activities down. I would definitely revisit the campground again but only in late fall or early spring.

Nice park! Only complaint was the concrete work being done at 8am every morning with no discount or points offer for being awakened every day by concrete cutting tools.

This may be the best KOA I've stayed at. The grounds were beautiful, pool was great, a cafe on site, and a well-stocked store. The desk host was super nice. The campsites were spacious. My only complaint was just as I got comfortable in my tent site, the obscenely bright street lights came on (like the sun); had to move sites. Plus side: there were lightening bugs all over. Close to the missions.

Initially, the maint guy said he would trim the trees that were touching our RV but he never showed up. It would have been nice not to be crammed in next to people for 3 days. Plenty of space avail. On some positive notes: store was great! Pool was taken care of. Big Entry way was super helpful-glad it had a gated entryway. The barn area was a nice place to hangout with some limited food options.

I made the mistake of booking 2 days, and I only needed one day as we were heading home. I requested a refund for the second day, but I was told by the staff they could not do a refund, and I was given an email address to write my concerns. I sent an email and have not received any response. I will call corporate tomorrow.

We stayed from 7 days. It was great besides the bugs and all the wet days. The camp is super friendly and clean. We only had a small issue maintenance mowed right next to us while my husband was outside and a rock hit him and then hit our rig. Luckily no windows.

Beautiful park with so much shade from the Texas heat. Love the walking trail nearby and the friendliness of the staff. Look forward to coming back and satying here again.

Really enjoyed this stay. Very nice campground. Well kept. The pool is nice and was warm enough to enjoy without the “freeze” getting in. The city trails near the campground were a nice feature for biking and walking. They have a cafe with breakfast and wings/pizza in the evening if you don’t want to cook.

We loved that we minutes away from River walk, Alamo and the Pearl. There is a city bus stop across the street that drops off close to those for 2.70 per day. The campground was nice and clean.

Great place to stay-close to downtown-Sites kept clean and leveled for camper. Friendly staff providing info and supplies as needed. Beautiful area and provided amenities. Reasonable site pricing. Have to say one of best campground’s I have stayed at. Hope to visit area again since so much to see and do. Any thoughts or plans for a plckle ball court?

There were a few things I wanted to tell management, however office was closed during departure. The AC in Cabin DC6 didn't cool in living area. Seems the bedroom AC controls controlled the Cabin. Like I set it on 78 for my Mom, and it was 78 throughout. The TV kept buffering like internet signal wasn't strong enough. We expected The Patio Cafe to be open, but found it closed during our stay.

The key fell off the key ring that they issued and I called the after hour phone number and never received a call back..luckily we found the key on the ground and was able to get in the room, but they never called..sad but true

This was my 5th stay at this KOA. The campground is always spotless, bathrooms clean and very helpful staff. It’s obvious that this KOA is managed by a professional - consistent excellent experience. The ++ for families with kids is a huge play area and pool.

It was amazing stay. I want to give shout out to the maintenance guy. I fridge went out in the cabin and he replaced it quickly. The staff was amazing. We loved the playground and the pool.

One of the best KOA’s ever! Wonderful team working there! Awesome internet and grounds. Perfect Patio Cafe with pizza etc, and a great shop in the office! Laundry room was clean, well kept as well. Only drawback was the number of kids in the pool which kept us from using it it the whole stay, but not KOA’s fault. We’ll be staying there again soon!

What a great KOA located so close to the city Wonderful staff, very clean facility, all the amenities you want in an RV park. There is a very nice snack shack with beverages & food too Located in a very mice trail for walking or biking. Our site was well prepared for our arrival and level. This is a great spot to stay when visiting San Antonio

SA KOA is our go to stop when in the Alamo city as they do not disappoint on their top level service and accommodations. Highly recommend this place.

The water pressure was low in the rv site and ants was alot all over the table.

July 2026 Nothing to add except that the price is getting high at $74 a night we will be back. 2023 We did come back and were just as happy with the location and the campground. We did end up in a spot that was a little tighter for our 35ft rig. still decent wifi little over $60 a night this time patio site. We will be back. 3 years ago, I have to give this park a five star. The staff was very helpful and always nice. As they say in Texas everything is bigger, for KOA the sites here were large. It is gated and is 10 min from down town and the Alamo. It has plenty of amenities. Full hookups 30/50 amp, Cable TV and the wifi was decent at our site. $53 a night we would stay again.

Checked in, Kelly led us to our site. She made sure to find us a spot next to a big tree giving us a A TON of very much welcomed shade. After that, Kelly, went to man the Patio cafe, where they make pizza and wings on site! This lady does it all! Definitely worth looking or calling them and asking for a specific site as some can be pretty short and out in the open with no shade. If Kelly wasn't on watch, we would've ended up on a fully sun exposed spot! Very nice clean property as well!
