I love Port Huron KOA. It’s like my second home. Love the staff and I’ve met so many amazing people. My husband and I come every year. My kids and grandkids love KOA as well.

I really think that the trash around the campsites could be better. Also, campers could also be held accountable for the way they left it. They should leave the site better then they found it.

We been camping with yall for years but this was the worst. U guys allowed someone to have their radio system up so loud that the whole campground could hear it. Then. U guys allow the radios on the golf carts all night. The lack of disrespect for all of us that camp and the price we pay, not sure we will be back. We are long time customers too. It was just out of hand and very disappointing.

One of my very favorite places to stay!! They have such a nice selection of sites and things to do there! Wonderful to see children having fun riding bikes like the old days!!

E-bikes and scooters need speed limits strictly enforce. Cars are 5MPH, ALL motorized vehicles should also have limits.

Everything was great. The women's bathroom wasn't very clean after Thursday. In the Men's bathroom the toilet paper dispenser is broke. The bathroom by camp site 107.

This is our first time there and definitely make an attempt to visit during summer time to take advantage of other amenities. Very nice camp ground.

We stayed for Halloweekend. This was our first time here and it was so much fun. So many activities, so many people it was amazing. The decorations at each camper site were great. We went through nearly 1000 pieces of candy during the trick or treating. I do wish they had a haunted hayride. Can’t wait to do it again next Halloween. We also plan to schedule a summer trip there too next summer.

I was\nVery disappointed in the fact that the bathroom that was right in front of me, back by the tenting sites that new area that has been made was very dirty.All the time I reported it to the front office twice and they said they would send somebody out but being as I was right there , I watched nobody come either time. I did see the place was ran by teenagers that were not enthusiastic at all

We always have a good time for the Halloween weekends. Just one thing . The website to reserve a golf cart was very confusing. You shouldn't have to put in the day before you want the golf cart. It should be the days that you want it.

Great stay, great employees. PLEASE add a haunted house or trail to Halloween weekends/ Also, trick or treating is too early for the kids to enjoy the decorations.

It was great! The only thing I wish was that the trick or treating was at night time so you can see all the sites fully decorated with lights etc. And also the scavenger hunt be during the day and have it be for adults and kids throughout the park. The Halloween weekend is fun. The location is pretty. The bathrooms need work. 2 of 4 sinks worked. Only 1 of 4 hand soap worked. 1 incident had us considering going elsewhere. The owner drove thru after dark VERY fast chasing a boy on E Bike because he didn't have a head light. 3 fathers were very upset for fear of their children getting hit. The owner was very rude when confronted about it.

We love Port Huron KOA. We live close by and we book every year for Halloweekends. We love it, so many activities for them to do. The campground itself is beautiful. The only downside I always seem to have during that time is I've had to take a cold shower & not all the sinks or soap dispensers work. Only 2 sinks and 1 soap dispenser worked this past weekend. Well I have a couple comments. First about the reservations of the golf cart’s. So reserving them online is COMPLETELY NOT user friendly and when you try asking questions to someone on the phone they say “well we see there are golf carts available but we can’t reserve them for you you have to online” so that’s a problem. We had a great time at Port Huron KOA for October 17-18 Halloween weekend!.So much to see and do, with awesome decorations, fun activities, and a great atmosphere. Staff goes all out, making it a fun and memorable weekend for the whole family. Always a good time and we look forward to coming back!

The entire staff is always super pleasant abd polite delightful to deal with been a couple times love it here except this go around had two encounters with a gentleman that claimed to be operations manager super arrogant, ignorant, and just seemed down right rude

I go to Port Huron quite often through the summer. There’s very young kids working there, which they are very nice but at the same time nothing gets done the way you should bathrooms are always dirty. Also, just this past weekend we went and my daughter stayed in a cabin and got bit up by bedbugs and then bring it to my RV.

Less expensive sites are "mud pits". Had to upgrade to get gravel!

Some of our economy priced sites do have a more natural ground surface. We offer a variety of site types in order to accommodate different preferences. We are glad that we were able to find an upgraded site that would better met your needs.

Great weather and always fun. Front office staff very helpful and polite, site was ready. We were on the other side of park this year so noticed that garbage pickup did not come at end of evening and bathroom was not always useable due to clogged toilets. Thank you. Again, office staff is very helpful and friendly!

When we want to camp close to home we choose Port Huron KOA. This past time we had 2 different campsites: 201 & 1. My husband was able to go to work from there. Several of our friends & family came up throughout those 10 days. The weather was great. We are now entering our grandparent phase and it was nice to see the littles enjoy themselves.

We enjoy this KOA because of location and activities it offers but we strongly dislike that they allow motorized scooters and bikes. Too many kids are not paying attention and can Definately seeing kids getting hurt. We used to like to rent the banana bikes but it has got too busy with all the motorized vehicles.

I'm giving the our stay a 3 for these main factors. Stay was great however our site 271 had lots of garbage left behind and young adults driving reckless on the golf carts. I understand it's hard to control the Halloween crowds but the staff don't say or do anything. That's their job to keep everyone safe as well as site clean up.

Providing a clean site is very important to us. We apologize that site 271 was not up to the standard that you expected. We do monitor the campground for unsafe behavior and address it when it is observed but we understand your concerns and we will continue to look for ways to improve that.

it was great.. the golf cart rental return time need to be extended longer than 630. We are eating dinner or playing some games right after dinner we had to take time to stop and return the cart. an ideal time I believe would be 830 pm

This is a wonderful campground and it is only the poor Wi-Fi that keeps me from reading it at a five.

Thank you for your kind words! We do understand the frustration with our WIFI. Over the years we have explored options to improve coverage but we have been advised that expanding the signal would require removing a considerable amount of trees. We have decided to keep our park natural and beautiful.

Take my grandkids every year for hallow weekends We always have a great time! Lots of activities for the kids Upgraded cabins are great...bathrooms are great...and staff is great! Definitely recommend

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
