Stayed in treehouse that was good but beds are so close to wall tree house is a bit over priced! Great set up. Well equipped Stores and etc.. pools entertainment good family spot- great location

Good news for a better time.You need to go to KOA fun for the whole family. Everything you need is there for kids as well as adults.

Our stay was good until we had an incident with some kids bullying our kids for multiple days. We pay a lot of money for 2 days, so for the kids to bully our kids was disheartening, because honestly, us, the parents didn't have a good time. But, this was the first time ever (and I have been going there since I was a kid and it's the best KOA.

the stay was great . The cabins need to be attended to more far as cleaning. My cabin was clean but it was dust everywhere. Be mindful that people have allergies. Built up dust can make u very sick . And it was built up dust . lamp fixtures over the bed under the bed . top of the shower in the blinds . over i got through it thanks .

The only thing is the cabins were very dirty. My cabin 75 had cans, debris all over the floor. There was even blood stains that had to be mopped up. Cabin 71, the floor hadn't been mopped in some time. You did give us wood but it was still not clean. I have am a over 25 year customer at your location. This was disappointing.

Very uncomfortable stay after 25 years of enjoyment was Harassing by (1) Young Stuck Up Couple that wanted to obviously be a Patrolman walking directly through the sight never verbally asking If at all Possible to try to control Dogs Barking . Then reported it and was told we would have to leave if dogs didn’t stop , mind you early afternoon as other dogs were as well !!!! As there’s continue

We had a great stay overall. Very fun and lots of activities to do. Would be nice if Sawmill City and the pools opened even earlier. The downsides were that people were constantly walking through our campsite despite us asking politely for them not to, unclean bathrooms, & a 24/7 stench of marijuana since numerous people were smoking weed out in the open. Not something I want my kids to be around

It was a good stay. My only negative was that our cabin had a very bad odor so it was rough sleeping. We had to keep our windows open throughout the night.

very nice experience very frankly, and like the who is going with the family is very Perfect place know any other nuisance anything people can freely walk to activities enjoy the food. Everything is perfect for the family trip. They have lots of cute activity. You can go with a 34 day you can easily spend nice time with the family. i’m giving 10 out of 10 Perfect Place. for the family trip.

We were disappointed that we were not told that nothing was open, ice cream, putt putt etc. Nothing in any e mail. We would have change our time at the KOA to the following week. Also we had requested a unit like 288 with a queen size bed etc and we were down graded to C101 due to ants which we notified you we were killing ants in C101. While we would stay again, our stay wasn't great.

Most of the amenities were not available. Had we known that we would have changed dates. Also, the cabin was dirty. I don’t think the blinds have been dusted since installed. There was alcohol left in the fridge. We left it there. It was especially disappointing since our first visit was amazing.

Cabin was nice and clean. There was no dish soap, no spatula or tongs for flipping a steak on the grill. There were laminated instructions, on the wall, for the air conditioning remote. There was no remote for the air conditioning.

Always a good time, however, the amount of cob webs on the cabin ceiling was disgusting this year. I personally don't believe anyone cleaned it prior to our arrival. The cabin was also unlocked upon entering.

Cute cabins. Misleading hours for amenities.. only open on weekends first half of June. No air flow in bathroom, wet floors and damp toilet paper. Broken broom and dust pan in cabin. Only 2/4 pools open, kiddie pools closed. Overall was a good time, disappointed no jump pad, train, western stores, and Sawmill only open on weekends.

it was okay - however it seems that everything is a money grab - charging an additional 2.50 for delivery of fire wood (which is $8/bundle) is insane.

We only stayed one night and were bummed we didn't stay two! The rustic cabin was the perfect size for five people. It was clean. The bathrooms were clean; the showers, though, could have been cleaner. Great facilities, we had a nice wooded section (I think I would have been upset if we had gotten the cabins that had no trees around them). We did not get to use the pool because it closed so early.

He went above and beyond help me when I got there Monday, (my chain came off my bike and he fixed it when he didn’t have to) I was so impressed by his service! We're sorry you missed out on the bumper boats. As the local schools are still in session, we operate them on a limited schedule this time of year. Once school is out for the summer, demand increases and we have additional staff available, allowing us to open the bumper boats full time.

Most of the time our stays are fine, we camp here frequently. The 1 complaint I could say is a consistent problem is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the total lack of hot water. The bathroom floors need to be swept before they are mopped, there is always filth on the shower floors. And the only bathroom with hot enough water for showering is the one by the laundromat. The rest are cool water

We reserved the KOA for the amenities, pot pot the ice cream store, the little strip area but when we were there not 1 was open. Have we been told all of them would be closed?We probably would not have camped there. Also our cabin had a bee problem, i am highly allergic. We had to have someone come twice.. Not once did anyone ask if we wanted to change cabins. No one picked up trash for 2 days.

I have been coming to this location for 11 years, this time was less than perfect, very disappointing. The first problem was at check in, I specifically booked my favorite cabin with oven which there are only 2 cabins with ovens (L288 and L308) i was told that it does not matter which cabin you book online because when you get there computer automatically picks the cabin. i was charged $25-$35 mo

We had a blast camping at Port Huron KOA this past weekend! Our cabin was spotless, comfy, and just enough space for our family. The campground was quiet, lots of kids, and other campers were respectful. The staff were friendly, prompt, polite and very knowledgeable. We haven't been here in 20 years and it was great going back! Lots has changed. We will definitely be back soon!

Our girl scout troop stayed at Port Huron KOA this weekend, and we had a fantastic time! This was completely last minute, on Friday after our original plans fell through, but Amanda was able to book us within an hour in the perfect spot, walking distance to everything and cabins all next to each other. When I dropped my wallet on the train ride, Corey on a golf cart got it for me. Thank you KOA!

Very young UNTRAINED STAFF Our church group Heart of the Hills Christian Church has been coming to PH-KOA for 30 years and have had great times with many things to do , however the guest situation desperately needs attention and was impossible to deal with by the SECURITY TEAM , Making reservations for guests has become a problem , 5-29-26 was very difficult and invited guest had to leave

I feel check-out times for the lodges / cabins should be 1:00pm. Also vendors should stay open later.

Thank you for the great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, our housekeeping needs more than a two hour window to fully clean and reset our lodges. As for amenity hours, they operate full time once school is out and the campground is in peak season.

Couldn't check in the first day and was still charged.

Because the reservation wasn’t checked in on the first night and we didn’t receive a cancellation notice, it was processed as a no show. Our cancellation policy states that no show reservations are non refundable, as the site is reserved and unavailable to other campers.

The staff were very professional and polite. The campground is nice as well. The only reason why I did not provide five stars is because housekeeping did not do a great job cleaning the bathroom. I had to clean the tub sink and toilet. I could’ve reported it and they probably would’ve had somebody clean it. I just took care of it myself because I was about to get in the shower. I will be back!

Rented a cabin and it was not clean. Toys squirt gun and obvious candy wrappers under bed. Nothing swept, mopped, or wiped in a very long time. I understand this is camping but when you’re paying hotel prices and staying for opening weekend I would not expect it to be filthy. The dust and dirt was thick. The last 3 times we have booked have been the same. Sad that bare minimum is done at A resor

We enjoyed our stay, lots for the kids to do. The only issue we had was the bathrooms need to be checked more often. They were out of soap often and I went in there once and there was no toilet paper in any stall.

Bathrooms took a beating. They were destroyed, kept getting locked from the inside so they weren’t usable and always out of toilet paper. Carpenter bee holes around the whole cabin and had to have them come out twice to spray. Our fire pit was right next to the side of the cabin that had 3 holes the bees made. They also kept forgetting to deliver wood that we texted and were charged for.

Our boys had a great time exploring the campground and activities. During nonstop rain, the pavilion helped, but side curtains or panels would make it much more useful. Our biggest concern was the low cabin porch roof corners. Several people hit their heads, and two sustained bleeding cut. Adding flower pots or barriers at the corners could help improve safety. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Great cabin stay—clean, comfortable beds and good heaters. Easy check-in/out even on a busy weekend. Tons to do and entertainment was solid. Campground was mostly quiet. Downsides were dirty bathrooms/showers, ripped TP covers, and mislabeled hot/cold (learned the hard way with cold showers!).

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
