Loved the stay! First time here, so many things to do. Especially with the little ones. Only thing I disliked was the restrooms. I think the ones next to the pool should’ve had constant supervision/cleaning. They were always nasty. It got so bad, I started driving around to other restrooms to relieve myself.

It was a rainy weekend but enjoyed the stay at KOA port huron. We did tent camping. The pools, ice cream shop & hay ride was fun. But the bathrooms needs to be cleaned more often simply because they are adjacent to the pools & wet & slippery all the time. They alerted us via text message when there was high wind warnings & so on.

Very disappointed that everything opens so late during the summer and on a weekend. Our kids are up at 7-8AM and everything is closed until 11am. This seems very late. Everyone is rushing to the same places and it’s busier than it needs to be because everyone is anxious to do something.

Too many rowdy, disrespectful, rude African-American, Black people. They have no respect for others that enjoy the quiet peaceful camping. The park overall was very clean when we came in on Thursday. But once everybody crowded in on Friday, we found numerous chicken bones at the bathroom showers they left dirty and we had to listen to nasty talking rap music. We will never be back.

This place is feral. If you’re looking for peace, family bonding time, or even just basic respect for personal space—look elsewhere. I would love to give you 5 stars but there are just a couple of issues. The mosquitoes are awful and recommend that you spray. You need to have some kind of rule for the electric scooters, kids are going way to fast and I had one run into me while I was out just walking. Thank you except for those issues we loved the stay.

Wonderful campground so huge you feel like you’re in the middle of a huge woods and so close to home. There is so much to do for families and adults. Beautifully landscaped and very clean.

Their online statement said that they had WiFi, the brochure says different. Employees are not friendly, they drive around but not a one could wave or say hello. That shows me that management doesn’t understand what hospitality means. Had no internet service, had to use my hotspot on my phone. Will not return and discourage anyone from going there. They need to remember why they are there!!!

This was our 6th or 7th stay here over the years. It was a really nice touch delivering the note to our site about how much you value us as Canadians. We live in crazy times and with Trump constantly making us feel threatened, it's ended up hurting regular folks and businesses in the US. And, that's not fair. We love Americans and visiting America! We esp love KOA campgrounds, esp yours!

The campground itself if nice and offers a lot for the kids to do. I did have issues with people walking through my site and speeding in vehicles. Between that and other issues I can’t put on here I’m not sure if I will be back.

Everything and everyone was amazing.. only one things bothered me. The bathrooms back by the trailer sites was not kept up with, some campers really destroyed the bathrooms .. it wasn’t the workers fault but I just think I didn’t get to use the bathroom once (due to how the campers left it in poor condition) I always had to go to the front

Have camped here multiple times. Our kids got yelled at for using sparklers. The pool closed down due to a chemical imbalance, saw mill city closed early unexpectedly, the train overheated and stopped running and my daughter’s bike was stolen from our campsite. Definitely not a fun holiday weekend for our family.

Overall, it was a good stay. However, the back bathroom wasn’t too bad, but there was something on the floor with blood in it, and it just got moved around daily rather than picked up.

Things were great! It was very full due to the holiday weekend. The kids were a little wild with little parental supervision which was a bit of an issue. We had multiple kids run through our site, one try and take my kids gems from his mining basket right in front of me (no parent to be found), and very over crowded pools. The sites were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean great staff!

There was a camper plus 3 tents on the site next to us with non stop vehicles, pets without leashes, and people running through our site with scooters and golf carts.

Neighbors with no etiquette. They put 3 tents up with a large drivable RV next door. Initially 1 tent was on our site. Their kids ran through our yard all weekend. We had to move to another persons site to have any relaxation (dogs). They also parked their car on our lot. I have been camping 20 plus years and never seen anything like it. Won’t be back.

I’ve stayed here plenty of times every time we stay it’s perfection clean environment always cleaning up the bathrooms. Need a little bit more work but this cause there’s a lot of people but nothing is getting clean until like really late in the morning but everything else is perfect.

Bathrooms are an accident waiting to happen with the slippery floors and stalls. Almost fell multiple times. Pools are overcrowded and not enjoyable. Water in the shower was mostly cold and had very little water pressure. Also bathroom stalls were disgusting or out of toilet paper and Need to be cleaned multiple times during a busy weekend.

Train was broke down 6 of the 7 we were there. Teens/kids running thru sites at night, called the 24 hour number, said security would patrol, nobody ever came out to check. Also, visitor parking, why have them go thru the long process of registration on one side and make them move and walk to the sites, they should at least be allowed to drop off and pick up their things.

I wasn’t a big fan of this campground tbh. Everything is expensive and everything cost money. I like the other KOA locations. They aren’t price gouging. Golf cart rentals are the full day and not “10-8” with an up charge EVERY Saturday. Whereas the other location you get it the full 24 hours. And it isn’t $100 every Saturday. The park was over populated. The pools and streets full.

At one point of time this was our absolute favorite KOA. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend & I was not as impressed as my previous stays. Bathrooms were filthy, KOA was understaffed to the point they were not offering honey pot services and the first two nights of our stay their was cops called.

This is by far one of the best kampgrounds we've gone to... Also why we keep going back! They're extremely friendly, fun and helpful. The entire kampground is clean and well kept and there are tons of things to do. What a FUNtastic place to make memories!

First off the campground is very nice and well maintained. The main issue is the amount of traffic in and out and the e-bikes and scooters. Just coming in a kid almost ran into the side of the camper. So that is my main issue just too many and too fast. I love that you have kids doing a lot of the work around the campground. Building responsible young adults.

was expecting a koa... unfortunately this location is just a Ghetto "campground" with Koa logos. out of every Koa Location I have been too over the last 15 years this location is the worst. had planned to stay 4 nights... only stayed one night and left as soon as we woke up. the staff is incredibly unfriendly. the rule of the park are not inforced. if i had more characters id complain more.

We had a great time with friends per usual and can’t wait to return in August. My son was SO happy the train was working this time! Some feedback: - I love the ice cream parlor but it’s disappointing that kids can’t look in the displays to pick their flavor. - Coin machines in the laundry areas would be helpful for early risers. - My site was covered in ant hills.

The campground has something for everyone, no boredom possible here. The staff keeps everything clean from the bathrooms/showers to the fire pits. Highly recommend.

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
