Tge stay was good except the only issue was the bathrooms. The urinals were crusted with urine and the whole bathroom smelled like urine.

We attend the first weekend of Halloween weekends. This is our 2nd year and love it for the kids!! We come with big a group of friends!! With that being said, will be will be making arrangements to attend The KOA in Emmett next year! I don’t think u should charge $20 per person extra if you have others staying with u at your site. It was my husband and I only but you charged me $40 extra dollars for my nephews and wife’s to stay with us. It says up to 8 People are allowed at your site. I don’t think that’s fair.

Halloween weekends are our favorite time. Communication from the campground is wonderful. The staff is always helpful and polite. Just a few suggestions, 5 MPH speed limit as well as it be enforced: gold carts, e-bikes. etc. At dusk all bikes, scooters, etc. should have to have some sort lights to be seen. Glow sticks, flashlight...something, for safety of all campers.

It was a good time. I feel like there being really strict I was riding in the golf cart with my kids 8, 7 , 3 and 1.5 years old playing kid music and everyone was loving it and a older man that works there sped up behind us honked at us (scared the crap out of the kids) and told us we need to keep it down we’re disturbing people… at 1 in the afternoon noon. All righty then..

10:45 on final day while trying to hitch truck to camper with my wife’s help, a worker came into our campsite with loud wagon to remove ash from fire pit. Impressionable to not have waited for us to leave. Check out isn’t until 1:00 and we had to wait for him to leave so that my wife did have to yell over him

Camp site were good size, however I was picking up trash on the site from previous guest. Website states 2 vehicles per site, but was told to park one of our vehicles 2 streets away. Pizza place was posted to be open till 9pm but was refused service just before 8pm with staff stating that they had to shut the oven down in 15 minutes and didn’t have time to make any more.

For parking, we allow 2 vehicles per site into the campground. One at the site and the second in a designated parking area. The reason is to try and keep our grass green and fresh for upcoming campers.

The stay was great but I would recommend that you put taller flags on the 3 wheeled bike you rent. I have a normal size ram 2500 and found it hard to see kids when they got close requiring me to come to a complete stop

We loved the overall stay, campsite, kid's events and the trick or treating. One suggestion would be for trick or treating and ensuring that some of your campsites that are in the 349/premium sites get kids and sites seen open that side at 4pm to trick or treat and then open the main area at 4:30-6pm.

Always love our annual Halloween weekends at the Port Huron KOA! Only thing I would like to see are the pools staying open a little later in the year since it’s typically still warm during the second weekend of September, but I know it’s just easier/standard to close them after Labor Day.

We were very disappointed because we rented a golf cart fri was 110$ and sat was 130$ on Halloween weekend had to pick up at 9 am and turn in at 7 pm couldn't go around in the evening to see all decorations lit up and we had to go to the campsite then walk all the way back to check in because we were way in the back of campground and the decoration contest was not fair a group won singles no chanc

Nice campground, friendly employees, rough on the extras. We had a full hookup site with septic uphill from the parking spot and camper on a very tilted surface, needing to pull the downhill wheels onto several blocks in order to get the tanks to empty. Cards failed for almost everyone in our camping group and needed replacements, add in $50 fire = overpriced experience

It took 3 days for staff to empty an overflowing garbage can. I understand that vehicles are required to go 5 mph, however you have adults and even KIDS driving golf way faster then 5mph which can cause just as much damage to person. The speed is DEFIANTLY not enforced. This the 4th time staying here, we love the campground but this year the cleanliness was not were it has been in the past.

Haven’t been to this Port Huron KOA in many years. We stayed over Labor Day weekend 2026 and had a great time. Park is very clean. Sites are good size and level. All the staff that we had contact with were very helpful and friendly. Pool was clean, although I wish it was a little warmer! Had a great time in sawmill city - putt, putt, golf, bumper boats and go carts.

Was put at the far back with an empty park and could not get wifi Stopped late after a long journey to do laundry and one machine was broken and no laundry detergent to purchase Shower curtains were ripped and useless for stopping the water from going on the floor Had to switch showers as there was no hot water in the first one

Too many golf carts playing extremely loud music as they cruise the campground all day long. Private owned golf carts driving FAST, makes it hard to walk. It's just way too busy and loud to get any peace. The sites were great and lots of different sites and cabins to choose from.

Our second time camping there. It is a wonderful site, with lots to do for the family. We'll be camping there again next year!

The online reservation for the golf carts is not very clear. My paperwork said I had it 9-4 thru 9/6, I picked it up 9/6 and drove off. About an hour later they chased me down and said I owed another $130, I showed them my paperwork, they said they made a mistake! So I returned the card because I was not paying for it again! Terrible overly priced rental program!

we stay there annually and this year there was a big improvement in customer service. Very good. Suggestions. Down the main aisle or street have a walking lane way to many people walking in the middle so traffic could get by. And finally ban ebikes. Being operated in reckles manor

We had a wonderful stay. Lots of activities for adults and children. One comment would be cleaning the bathrooms and pool more. On the last day none of the stalls had toilet paper in either the men’s or women’s washroom and the bathrooms were quite dirty. Overall awesome stay and we’ve booked for next year.

Campground is great, but bathrooms need some attention. Multiple times we went to multiple bathrooms and there was no toilet paper in any of them. We had kids in tears the last day because they had to go so bad and couldn’t find a bathroom with TP. Just stock up!

Port Huron KOA has lots to do. The workers are nice and helpful. Wish there was more seating at the playgrounds for parents, wish the train didnt run just on the hour and more continuously, and garbage pickup can take awhile. But overall its a nice campground with so much to do to keep the kids busy.

You have lost control of your campground! Campers have absolutely no camping etiquette whatsoever,they just do as they please. People cutting through my campsite, people next to me using my campsite as they see fit. 8-9 yo kids on electric bikes blasting down the road at 35-40mph with no regard to anything or anyone around,golf carts going in every direction and no traffic cops anywhere in sight!

If you know you are going to have a lot of guest of your campground, bathrooms should be check regularly. There was no toilet paper or soap in the middle bathroom come Sunday. I feel like they should have been cleaned and stocked Saturday night. Then when you try and call to let them know their phones done work.

I was a little disappointed this time, we had a Super Site & we thought it was a Gasebo site but instead the sites were very close together & very difficult to get past the overgrown trees We are in a 45 Ft Class A towing a pickup.

This is really a great resort, the two pools are beautiful & we had a new pull thru site with a Gazebo & it was great. Not your typical KOA lots of room between the sites & easy in & out. We have a 45 foot Motorcoach towing a pickup & had no problem getting to our site & never had to unhook.

Clean campground. Many activities for families of all ages. Beautiful grounds with trees. Staff driving around keeping campsites, cabins and lodges clean and in working order. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable and available to answer questions.

Take my grandkids every year for hallow weekends We always have a great time! Lots of activities for the kids Upgraded cabins are great...bathrooms are great...and staff is great! Definitely recommend

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
