Our stay was nice. However, the lodge cleanliness left much to be desired. The walls were covered in cobwebs, there were two hairballs left in the cabin from previous guests and the grill was filthy.

The grounds are littered. The cabins have not been moped in a long time. First night there my bare feet were black. The stove top is filthy. The no smoking marijuana is not enforced. You have the potential to have a beautiful campground and are missing the mark. Just keeping things clean would go a long way.

Cabin was filthy; dirt on the floor, the mirror in bathroom and toilet were not clean, sheets in full bed felt grainy, like they were full of sandThe campground was nice and quiet, following July 4th weekend and it is nice that the office delivers firewood to the sites.

Great stay had alot of fun!! Only thing was the bathrooms were rarely cleaned so often felt quite dirty ! Also never seen it so busy (4th of July thou so completely understandable ) but the pools were so jammed and constantly hair floating around. Pretty gross !! Otherwise though cabins, amentities, all that was awesome !!

We had a great time with friends. The updated cabins were spacious and had everything we needed. Only complaint was that the bathrooms did not get cleaned regularly and were very dirty.

Bathrooms were well kept, I like that rules are enforced there was no chaos. Very calm and relaxing environment. Only thing I would say could be improved is the pizza and food closes really early.

They were very nasty towards my family and there was a mistake in are room we paid for a loft and got a small cabin and my sister n law they put out her cabin after telling her she could keep it and didn’t have to pay.

My cabin was not cleaned. They was a half opened water bottle under the mattress and floor definitely wasn’t swept even though when you walked in the door, it was sitting right there. Didn’t like that the cabin, which comes with a bed and mattress didn’t have sheets, but the lodges came with both sheets and towels.

The bed was horrible. The mattress should be trashed immediately. Also it was extremely loud at night. I love KOA Port Huron however this stay wasn’t fun at all.

The cabin was OK, but there were a lot of bugs. The cabin inside was very very dusty, the walls the pictures, ornaments, even the ceiling and ceiling fan were very very dusty. For the amount of money that we paid I would’ve expected it to be a little cleaner. Even outside was a little messy around the grill and the fire pit. The staff was very kind and tried to help out as much as they could.

My recent stay was by far my worse stay since I've been coming to the KOA Port Huron. There was spider webs through out my cabin and dead bugs in the windows seals the glass front door was covered in fingerprints from the previous tenants. So I was not happy camper.

Very enjoyable stay. The lodge was clean when we arrived and was in good working order. Sure the WiFi could be better, but it was as advertised. Would have been nice if the train was working, but that's on Sawmill City. Pools were nice. Campfire wood and ice were reasonably priced. The grounds were kept up nicely and good for gatherings. Staff was friendly and accommodating

I will never recommend or visit KOA Port Huron, Michigan again in my life. This was one of the most disappointing camping trips I have ever been on. We rented over 25 cabins for my family. We were racially profiled the day that we got there until the day we left. the owner road around on a golf cart calling a few of my Male family members boys. His exact words hey Boy can you read? I visited KOA several times and never have I been so disappointed and treated with prejudice and discrimination. We booked over 25 cabins this past weekend and your staff continuously harassed my family, even the OWNER called my Nephew a boy how racist is that from someone that’s suppose to own an establishment. I think I got the wrong cabin . The cabin had a really sour smell . A dirty sock was left under the bed . The pull out mattress was nothing but springs. My husband and I had the worst sleep ever .

I do recommend adding baby changing stations in the bathrooms, especially the bathrooms by the pools. I also feel if you are going to charge extra on Saturdays for golf carts then we should be able to have them a little longer (9am-9pm) having to return them by 8pm while it was still light out felt too early.

Our cabin really needed a deep clean. The tv and light fixtures in the kitchen were covered in dust as well as the high window sills in the bedroom. I cleaned the bathroom when I got there. The bathroom faucets were dirty. And the outside kitchen was filthy. For the price we paid for that sight, it should have been immaculate. It was very loud on Dry Gulch, other patrons were disrespectful.

Campground is great activities for kids. There are couple things they need to address first is cleaning cabins little better plus the mattress they are horrible. Also policy says no pot if they smell it your out I don't believe you enforce it around our cabin omg the smell was terrible even our kids knew what it was. Thank you

We were happy with everything but the cleaning practices and the restrooms. The ones closest to our cabin (K28) were run down, dirty, toilets didn't work. The men’s restroom was no better. The pavilion by our cabin had 1 sink stopper for 4+ sinks and most of the outlets didn’t work. Lights don’t come on at an appropriate time. I witnessed a cabin get cleaned in 5 minutes which is ridiculous

We enjoy our stay very much. The only thing that we have noticed is that the cabins are not very clean when we check in. At least for the last couple years. I have had socks, glo sticks, balls and eyeglasses under the bed. The last one there was dog hair all over the floor. I dont think the floors are swept or checked under the beds. 2 outlets not working at kitchen common area.

Bathrooms smell. They are not cleaned well enough. No deep clean. All urinals have stain and buildup. Too much loud music and pot smoke in the air. Have been coming here for 25 years and now it is so packed with so many people its not a quiet vacation. The pools are overpacked. Do a calculation on how many sites you have added and how much pool space is available.

My husband and I took our kids here for several years back in the late 1990s so we thought it would be fun to go again now that our kids have kids of their own. We have a great weekend. They all stayed busy with all the things to do. The only draw back is that there is a lot of marijuana use and we were disappointed it is allowed and we had to smell it all weekend.

KOA camping is all time favorite place. It was really nice experience, kids loves enjoying bike riding, go carting, boat bumping, golf, etc. One & only improvements, I can suggest to KOA team is please keep restrooms clean and dry. restroom near my cabin was wet and stinky.

Been coming over 10 years; worst cabin/experience ever. Cabin had stench coming from outside through air conditioner; sprayed curtains and gave air fresheners. Rented banana bikes-employee was rude and disrespectful. Cabin not clean upon arrival. Unacceptable.

It was great, but feel to much going on! You can barely drive to leave! Golf carts rule the road! There rude, don’t move and will block the roads with zero cares if your a car trying to get by! It’s so over packed with golf carts and bikers! There needs be a separate path for bikers and golf cart etiquette would be nice as not one single person cared about anyone else but them selves! Just rud

We've been coming for over 20 years with 30 family. We love this tradition. However, the camp grounds desperately need upgrades. More playgrounds and a spash pad would be nice. The go carts went up in price but no upgrades there either. The pool should be open longer as well as cleaned better. Thanks

Being from Glasgow Montana we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Campground. If you add another road, don't forget the original "Theodore Roosevelt International Highway" You could also consider a sign for the rail tracks that say "Empire Builder" for the Train to represent Amtrak. Nice Job, we will be back next month. Thank You.

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
