We had a very lovely time. Safe was very approachable, kind and helpful. I love that the campground has expanded since the last time I was here in the late 1990s. Love all the trees and amenities. Only reason I gave 4/5 is that at 8am someone stole two of our brand new bundles of wood right off our site.

I've been coming here for many years. Although several improvements have been made, there seems to be a lot of neglect. Mainly the cleanliness of the cabins. It was very dirty inside and it appeared to be that way for a very long time. All it would take to remedy this would be an hour or so of extra cleaning on cabin turn-overs.

The park itself was lovely. Staff were welcoming and friendly. However, the cabin was very dirty. We kept our shoes on the whole time. The cookware was worn out. Needs updating. Overpriced for a dirty cabin. We enjoyed the pools. We were never overcrowded there, which was nice.

Had a great time but cabin L339 had cobwebs, dust on ceiling fans and decorations, floor was only swept but not cleaned, animal droppings in the bathroom and lower cupboards in the kitchen. Outside area was not cleaned after previous guests. Reserved the same cabin for next year so looking forward to a better experience. Great KOA anyway !!!

My stay was great the cabin was nice. The amenities that you provided was great. I would have liked the pool to stay open until 9pm. The mattress in the bedroom was too soft. The landscape in the front yard was dirt. Overall loved the KOA and I will be back next year.

KOA staff was supposed reach out to me, but no-one did. I'm requesting a refund for Saturday. I've been a loyal customer that was very unhappy and tried to move to another spot. The area that we were in, had a huge group of people that were using a lot of profanity, loud obnoxious music to later hours of the night, chicken bones (bugs), and took over the whole kitchen area the entire time.

I'm the woman who got trapped in the shower stall for 30 minutes. The deadbolt would not turn and the 'staff' said let's get the 'Good key'. They were unable to free me. My husband got me out with a crow bar and hammer. The staff kid apologized but it was not his fault. We were minutes away from calling the fire department. I was crying I was so scared. Please fix those locks.

We loved it, we had so much fun. Only downside was that you could tell a dog stayed in our cabin before us as there was a smell and also, we saw a mouse in the cabin and had droppings all over the counter. We know this can come with the territory when camping but aside from that loved our time and will be back

While we have camped here as a large family for several years, and always enjoyed our stay, this year we had some issues. We could tell our cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned. Also one of our family members was treated extremely rudely when a second key was needed. Both the girl at the desk as well as her supervisor were very condescending. Hoping management will rectify this for the future.

The resort on the outside is great but if I was to rate the cabins it would be zero there were spider web nest all over the ceiling of the cabin plus on the light and bed rails.. which made my skin crawl and bathrooms, showers was not very clean although the staff had just supposedly cleaned. .

I truly love this location however, this visit was very challenging. The outside grills need maintenance or replacement the ceiling fan's in the lodge and the blinds need to be cleaned. I always book with family multiple lodges and the ceiling was coming down in one of the lodges this is totally different for this location it’s always 5 star. So I was just a little surprised.very friendly staf

The camp is nice. However the amount of ebikes and scooters is out of hand. Young children are driving them going well past the speed limit. I heard multiple people riding them saying how fast they were going, 30 miles an hour. The speed limit needs to be enforced. Also the bathrooms were cleaned a few times, however they never refilled the toilet paper. Most stalls were empty sunday.

I have visited The KOA Pirr Huron for the past 5 years and it has been awesome this past weekend I complain. I will say the room was not as clean as I thought or the bathrooms in the back but the rooms I stayed in K 87 the refrigerator was dirty. The room smell. cabin was dirty, barely swept wrappers,lighter,debris on site. rules not enforced, fast zipping scooters way over 5mph, hooverboarder ran into our truck. loud driving walking singing screaming people and zooming scooters after 11. nice to have shower areas but they are moldy looking at bases and all bathrooms are not the best by far. pizza was great. shops are cute. pools could be cleaner.

The campground was beautiful and there were so many things to do, it’s just a little too busy for us. We prefer a quiet, peaceful camping trip. Golf carts and electric scooters were constantly driving, most flying around aimlessly. I get that it’s a large campsite, and while those may be necessary for some, there were simply too many of them going at all hours of the day.

We understand that this style of camping isn't the right fit for everyone, and we completely respect that some guests prefer a quieter getaway. We do have rules in place for golf carts and other permitted vehicles, and we'll continue reminding guests to operate them safely and respectfully.

The KOA in Port Huron is nice and is my go to camp site. The 2 complaints I have would be about dust build up inside and the extremely loud noise coming from the air conditioner unit which made it almost impossible to sleep. Couldn't turn it off as it is hot outside. Having said that, I like the place and hope I'll get back.

The grounds were pretty with nice annuals planted and cared for. Lodges were clean, stocked and in good working order (323's propane ran out so no hot water, but fixed just minutes after calling the office, 322 smelled of cannabis, which was disappointing, 321 had a TV only showing in black & white). The low points were pool being closed & garbage bags out too long (torn open by animals). Loved it

The stay was enjoyable, the issues I did.have the first night and second day there was an excessive amount of garbage out for extended lenght of time that let animals in to the bags. This made it very challenging to walk my dog as ther was food everywhere on the grass and with he pavement being so hot it definitely limited where I was able to walk my dog.

I have been staying at KOA Port Huron for 20 plus years. My family and grandkids LOVE it. We always have an amazing time and the memories we make are priceless. We are already booked for next year.

IT WAS OK THEY SHOULD NOT PROMOTE THAT THEY HAVE WIFI BECAUSE THEY DO NOT I CALLED ABT IT N WAS TOLD IF EVERYONE IS ON IT YOU CANT CONNECT

Several internet providers have told us that the only way to significantly improve the Wi-Fi coverage would be to remove a large number of trees to create a direct line of sight to the towers. We've been hesitant to do that because those trees are a big part of what makes our campground beautiful.

We booked this trip last minute and are extremely glad we did. The campground was clean, easy to get around, and had lots of activities going on for the kids every day we were there. we only stayed for 2 nights but next time we will be sure to book for a few more because nobody was ready to leave when we were packing up.

Everything was great the cabins seemed cleaned well and the whole park was very well maintained. Everyone was very friendly.the only downfall was We were a group with three cabins and each cabin had a smell as if the ac filters needed to be changed. That was the only downfall as the smell was hard to get over.

The staff were amazing. We were very dissatisfied in the cabin as when we went for day trip last year we looked at a cabin that had the queen bed in a bedroom and separate room with bunk beds. That is what I thought we were renting but we we got was a pull out bed that was so very very uncomfortable and we could not sleep for 2 nights.

Really like Port Huron KOA in most respects because they have a lot of cabin choices to stay in and a lot of activities for anyone that wants to participate. My family also loved the pools !! I do have an issue though with some of the staff not being well trained enough. Also, I currently believe that I have been improperly charged for my previous stay and have to contact someone.

My family’s been coming a couple times a year for 25 years (before you were a resort). We’ve been to several other KOA’S this is our favorite. We do miss Sawmill City, but the love still love everything (staff, planed activities, grounds maintenance) about this KOA.

It was good. The only thing I would say is to have your pool open earlier and later. Half the day is gone by 11am. Especially when its super hot out.

Our Girl Scout troop enjoyed our stay. There were a lot of activities to do and the staff was very kind. The only downside was one of the bunk beds. The bed still had a pile of dirt on top of it. We cleaned it up. Outside of that, we had a great time. Communication was easy and the staff was pleasant everywhere we went.

Take my grandkids every year for hallow weekends We always have a great time! Lots of activities for the kids Upgraded cabins are great...bathrooms are great...and staff is great! Definitely recommend

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
