Nice campground but absolutely disgusting bathrooms.

Our cabin was filthy. There was glass and broken aluminum all over the property. There was food wrappers by the fire. The garbage had previous guest dirty plates in there. The screens were broken all of them. They did not fit the window windows maintenance had to be called and he could not fix it so he duct tape taped it so we could not get fresh air.curtains dusty mgmt harassed us

The E-Bikes and Scooters flying around especially at knight were crazy. some were in excess of 20 mph hardly any lights and they are almost silent. Operated by kids.. seen a few accidents and some close calls. If the speed limit is 5 mph why do they get to fly around?

I really enjoyed myself. It’s my first time going camping. I will definitely be back next summer and stay a little longer. Enjoy watching the kids. Having a good time. All the family members come together.

The cabin was just ok. Felt dirty. If I did stay again I would need to clean properly. The floor was disgusting. The outside property was well maintained. The 1 star off was due to someone that was part of a large group deciding to pee on the cement right next to us and say I don’t give a f ect. Because of them I don’t know if I would return if that’s the kind of people that are taking over.

I have stayed here over several years and I have stayed in my own camper and in several cabins which have always been clean and well kept the grounds are well maintained and staff is always friendly One happy camper

While the grounds are beautiful, the lodge L315 was not. I don't believe the cabins are being thoroughly cleaned between stays. While I don't have pets dog hair was on the blinds, left behind in the main bedroom and the living area. Behind the toilet was also filthy. The tub also has not been cleaned well in awhile. I went out a purchased bathroom cleaner and sponges to feel better when used.

Arrived at cabin, immediately noticed how dirty the cabin was. Filled fridge, came to realize fridge was not working. Call front desk, maintenance said they would replace fridge in 1 hour- Went for a walk in meantime; when came back, there was a mouse in the cabin. 3 hours later, still no fridge. All food went bad; including baby milk. Moved us cabins, and second cabin was disgustingly dirty.

Seemed like evey activity on the sheet was cancelled...train under maintenance 2 years in a row. Waited in line for the hayride for 30min before a fellow camper told us it was cancelled.... employees didn't bother to tell us even tho several walked by us.

Out of 15 years visiting, I was very disappointed. The blinds had a lot of dust ( health concerns), cobwebs across the TV, sofa sleeper had lots of greasy spots ( which my niece killed a big brown tick), and I have never had to go into a bathroom to open the refrigerator or freezer. The cabin really needs a good service. I will come again.

The pools where full of grass and leaves every time we wanted to go swimming and our area which was kept clean kept being taken over by a family of skunks so we could even go outside to walk to the bathrooms

The Wi-fi was non existent. The staff was very helpful. The cabin floors very dirty. We liked all the activities for kids. Other campers frequently walked right through sites without regard to others.

Stayed in deluxe cabin.. could have been cleaner for the price we paid... greasy hand smears on front door...bed room ceiling fan was dirty..kitchen counter needed wipe down.. top of wall A.C. had dirt (not really sure what it was) across it. Other than that every thing was great. We will be back. Just need a little more attention to cleaning cabins.

The bathrooms get very dirty (the ones by community kitchen). Toilet paper was out. Also, our group reservation was messed up, they cancelled the wrong cabin and when we inquired about how it happened, the staff was rude and never apologized for their error. We will be going to another campground next year. Its also so busy with kids on electric bikes and golf carts crowding the streets.

There were things left behind from the previous stay in the fridge, the floor was sticky and dirty in the kitchen/living room area. All of the dishes had a film on them or were very dusty, like they hadn’t been used or cleaned in between stays. We’ve come here multiple times and this time was the worst of all our stays.

It’s very unfortunate. We’ve gone here many times and love the campground, but it is dramatically gone downhill. Our stay in the cabins were like a super 8 motel at best. Cabins were disgusting and trashed. Bathrooms were to the point you wanted to leave the campground and go use a public one. No hot water at the pavilions, Electrical outlets did not work in there as well. 0/10 recommend anymo

Three out of the six nights our group experienced loud music including strobe lights from the cabins in back of us. This didn’t stop even after quiet hours. The smell of weed was prevalent at many sites throughout the campground. I did not know before making a reservation that this was such a late night party camp ground. I have stayed at a lot of KOA campgrounds , this was by far the worse.

Staff at front desk were not knowledgeable of the area. Told to look on my phone. Cabin area very dirty. Wrappers, cigarette butts around fire ring. Lots of small trash. Bathrooms were extremely filthy. No toilet paper in the morning.

Cabin bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Can’t move a muscle without the bed making extremely loud noises. The overall population of the campground is very loud and noisy. Lots of blaring music and speakers with flashing lights past quiet hours. It is unfortunate that pools do not open till 11. Half of the day is gone before you can use the pool.

Bathrooms were disgusting Cabins in disrepair with fire alarm hanging by its wires from the ceiling, skunk issues, and cabin was not thoroughly cleaned on arrival as I found some sort of watermelon or pumpkin seeds in the bunk bed slats. At one point I was denied access to the bathroom because it was being “cleaned”, the worker had no cleaning equipment with him and was playing on his phone.

Our stay at the Port Huron KOA was wonderful! There was plenty of activities to keep our family busy. The campground was well kept. The bathrooms were clean. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We loved the themeing of the pizza palour/opera house area.

We brought are kids when they were young now we have been taking our grandkids. They love it every year and ask to go every year! We can let them run around, bike and have fun in the park without worry and they feel safe. It was definitely a busy weekend, however the bathrooms/showers need to be cleaned several more times a day.. unfortunately some people are just gross. But I should not have to walk in with dirty diapers n bodily waste on the floor. And the toilets dirty.. That was pretty gross.

We stayed in a lodge. It was very dirty!! The shelves, blinds and fans were thickly covered in dust. And our lodge had dirty dusty curtains that aren't even needed in my opinion. The best part about the lodge was having my own bathroom even though all the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped. Thankfully we were there with a big group and didn't have to spend much time in our lodge.

Need to be more observant of people blaring there music so the whole camp ground can here it. Our neighbors 2 doors down were blaring dirty rap music very loud and doing dirty karaoke with kids next door. And I mean dirty music. We were near lodge 335.

It was very enjoyable. That said, not cleaning the actual toilets and showers for the entire stay was a disgusting. These were for like 40 cabins. I couldn’t believe no one cleaned them. At one point they were caked in mud and the shower curtain was black. For how much money this place makes, hire daily cleaners. I couldn’t believe how they looked. Took away from an otherwise great stay.

I have been coming to this koa since 1997 before there was cabins and all the fun activities. Every time is such a great experience. The staff goes above and beyond. Not this time. Campers didnt respect others. Parents didnt care their teens were bullying two and three years. A teen staff member was hitting on my teen girls and wouldnt leave them alone. Following them. Dear KOA Port Huron Management, I am writing regarding my recent stay at your campground to request a refund due to the unacceptable condition of the cabin upon our arrival. When we entered the cabin, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned. There was dog hair throughout the cabin, making it unsanitary and not in the condition we reasonably expected. I documented the condition.

Only issue was the cabins need some detailed cleaning Floors were sticky and dirty and everything was very dusty look at yours ceiling fans there was an inch of dust.

Take my grandkids every year for hallow weekends We always have a great time! Lots of activities for the kids Upgraded cabins are great...bathrooms are great...and staff is great! Definitely recommend

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
