This campground was insanely busy and not maintained well enough to handle the crowds. The bathrooms were regularly out of toilet paper, the showers were not cleaned and one had a dirty pair of underwear for at least 12 hours, confirming the lack of attention. The amount of people also made doing activities like riding the train or swimming near impossible.

I was not impressed that we had a 3 o’clock check-in time and cabin was also dirty.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it nice. But I do have two suggestions. First, I would change the way the doors open on the refrigerator. It would have been more convenient. I would have done it for you, but I didn't have any of my tools. Second, I would suggest you change your ventilation system, the room with the bunk beds had NO air flow even with the window open.

Love it here! I recommend it to everyone. Only downfall was that the cabin wasn’t quite as clean as the ones we’ve had in the past (floors weren’t well swept, cobwebs and no broom available in the cabin). Otherwise, it’s a fantastic place to visit and I look forward to going every year.

The lodging itself was terrific the heating and cooling worked well, and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed My only issue was the proximity to other guests A large group essentially took over the street, making it difficult to drive our car or golf cart without repeatedly asking people to move With cornhole tournaments and children everywhere I could not enjoy my lodge

The campus was easy to navigate and had a lot of amenities. We stayed in an older cabin and it was clear it had not been deep cleaned in a long time, the floor turned my white socks black in minutes/counters and furniture dusty. In context we had everything we needed, but it was clear ours had not had the same care as our friend's cabins. We will definitely return, but deep clean #305.

Outdoor facilities were very nice. Check in and checkout was very easy and well staffed. Store was convenient and well stocked. Negatives were the urinals were always very dirty. A lot of young looking drivers on golf carts driving must faster than speed limit.

This is our second year staying at the koa during the second weekend in August. Last year we noticed a skunk near our cabin but this year there were a ton of them! We lost count of how many we saw coming out at dark. Somehow we didn’t get sprayed but I know the likelihood is high with kids running around playing flashlight tag and dogs out with campers. This needs to be taken care of.

I was very nervous to stay in the cabin with no bathrooms because of all the reviews I read. They complained of dirty cabins and disgusting bathrooms. I was very pleased to see the cabin was clean and the bathrooms were not gross, at least the ones I used. The showers were fine as well. I would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful time. The only thing I would change is they gave very little directions when we checked in. I checked in prior to 3 o’clock and they told me I had to park in visitor parking, but did not tell me where it was located. After speaking with some of the other people that we were meeting up, they had the same feedback. A little explanation goes a long way.

Problems checking in. Upon arrival, after maying my bill for the upcoming weekend, I was told I would have to pay an additional $80 becasue i was not a "rewards member". This did not seem right, the girl at the desk could not explain why. The desk staff seemed to not know what was going on. The lodge I rented was full of houseflies. We killed dozens of them throughout the weekend.

Our KOA Rewards Card is valid for one year, and once it expires, the renewal fee must be paid in order to receive members discounts. It appears the card was no longer active at the time of check in, which is why which is why the additional charge was required.

Overall had a nice stay. Areas of improvement would be cleanliness of cabin. Floors were filthy, no soap in bathroom and kitchen area was not as clean. Also there were not enough additional trash bags. Also paid to have ice delivered to cabin and it took 2 hours before we received and I had to ask about it twice and still took that long.

We stayed at L323 again. We like this style of cabin as it meets our needs. Luckily the bunks weren’t needed as it is very tight in the space. Also very warm as the a/c doesn’t get to that room. It needs general maintenance as we stayed there a month ago. Kitchen tap is very loose and needs to be tightened. The pots need replacing as handles are about to fall off. Bbq utensils needed.

This particular cabin was in serious need of an upgrade and it was dirty. It looked like it had not been cleaned at all. Literally. Dog hair was everywhere. It was floating in the air and so much behind curtains. The stovetop had food in it, bathroom door was broken, shower curtain was very dirty, poop stains in the toilet, the sink clogged, the toilet clogged, the blinds are sticky and nasty.

The young staff at Port Huron KOA could use some training in customer service. They lacked in giving direction for first time visitors, and politeness is a must in business. I don’t understand why activities are closed down because of an overnight rain. No explanation from the staff, just a “nope” they’re not open. No customer service!! Our reservation was a day shorter than it was supposed to be so they had us move cabins the 2nd day. I asked them to clean our new cabin 1st, they said yeah and then did the opposite. I had to walk around with my dog for 4 hours. I spoke to the supervisor who basically said that was their policy. They could’ve easily accommodated us and chose not to. The cabins are not well maintained as they have been in years past. The fridge didn't even have handles on the doors! The blinds don't fit the windows. The toilet seat was loose. The propane for the bbq was empty upon arrival. The cabin wasn't very clean upon checking in. The overall campground was very busy and loud. It wasn't relaxing at all. I don't think we'll be back.

I would actually like if someone would contact me as our stay was not good! Very dirty cabin and when we booked we booked a bigger cabin and ended up with a smaller one and they were full they could not accommodate us!

We LOVE the port Huron koa. We have come many years in a row. This year we were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms though. They were pretty disgusting our entire stay and we tried using 4 different ones.

There was an unreal amount of people and traffic. The kids can’t even ride bikes because there are so many golf carts and ebikes zipping around the park. It was disappointing. Couldn’t rear the whole time bc I was constantly trying to get the kids out of the way of traffic.

Cabin was extremely dirty upon arrival. There was dust and dirt all over the floors, blinds, air conditioners along with mold. Stains on bedsheets and the beds and couch are outdated and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving a day early because we were not happy. All employees are young kids?

Overall clean for a campground(site had juice boxes and zip ties from last renter), safe, quiet, excellent activities/amenities! Vacant cabins/sites could be cleaned better, AC units need cleaned filters, broken screens, not sure our fire detector was working(no red light blinking). Will continue to recommend and definitely return! Rewards could be better(get more savings)

Check in was efficient and staff friendly. Facilities and general state of the resort was clean and well laid out. Amenities were very good. Stayed in a cabin which we found clean however the air conditioning unit was old and struggled to keep it cool. Bathrooms/showers near cabins were just OK: worn, dated and cleanliness was a 6/10.

We had a great time! The Kabin was so nice! Like a tiny house! Staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Park guests were respectful for the most part. Order most of the wood you think you’ll need as they charge $2.50 to deliver it to your camp site. I thought that was great! Wood is very dry and makes a wonderful fire. We will be returning, it’s a beautiful campground.

Our first time glamping at KOA, and my family and I truly enjoyed it. Plenty of stuff to do on site, and next door at Saw Mill City. Highly recommended. Only downside was I don’t think the floor in our cabin gets mopped on a regular basis.

This is a great place to stay with kids. There are plenty of activities to do. For a quick 2-night stay, our family had a blast. It's also close to downtown Port Huron for those who want to venture out and grab a bite to eat or drink.

Great campground overall, very clean and lots of activities. We stayed in the couples cabin (K120) and there were lots of ants (we had to put a towel down to keep them from coming under the door). We wish the pool was open earlier as we like to swim before checkout. We will likely return in the future but will pick a different cabin.

We enjoyed the resort but unfortunately I cannot say the same about the staff. they kept texting multiple times too many to count reminding us about checkout time. We KNOW what ime checkout is because they told me at check-in, VERY aggravating especially when that's the last thing on my mine while im trying to make sure me & my kids are having fun. Seriously needs policy change. Not Happy

The campground offers a lot of great amenities, but there are a few areas that could be improved. One suggestion would be to adjust the pool hours. We enjoyed our stay but our bed was super hard like sleeping on a rock. It hurt my husbands back. There was a bees nest in the arm of our porch swing. Also the floor of the cabin was dirty.

We have stayed twice now and one issue we run into is the restrooms nearest to our site (K19) are often disgustingly dirty. More frequent checking and cleaning is needed. Also, during our recent visit, the fridge in our room did not keep items cold. We had to use our cooler. Thought we should let you know to have it looked at. Otherwise, we really enjoy camping with you!

Overall, we love this KOA and look forward to our yearly weekend of camping. There are lots for the kids to do & we love checking out the stores. But this year, despite being stated in the rules, several dozen people on scooters, bikes or carts were blasting loud music, some with inappropriate lyrics.

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
