Worst experience by far! Between me and my family, we got 3 lodges... Ours had a fridge that was the wrong way so we had to move the table just to get in and out of it which cramped us even more AND the fridge hadn't been cleaned out. Broom was broken, ceiling fan was filled with dust . Other cabin had rats and they didnt clean it out before our stay! Complained and everyone was rude/unsympathetic

It was a great stay! Love this Koa campground!! The cabin was great except I lost about 200 in food in the refrigerator that froze everything. I wasn’t even on high and I had to throw out all our salads, fruits, vegetables, eggs, etc. that was a super bummer for our trip.

I've been taking the grandkids here fir 4 years now during hallow weekends...they have a blast and look forward to it every year! I stayed at an upgraded cabin and it was clean...bathrooms across the road were great...many activities for the kids My stay is always great...I am going to start bringing the kids one weekend in the summer when they get out of school..we are all looking forward to it

We stayed in a rustic cabin when we stayed so we had to use the public restrooms for everything they were dirty and no hot water in the handicap shower also the bathroom near are site was out of order the entire weekend. We also couldn't find are electric box for are site and it was halloween so we couldn't decorate the way we wanted to the electric box that was near had a lock on it with no key.

Coming here last 13 years always near the Gaga ball pit and the bathrooms could really use an upgrade. cleanliness goes down a bit each year. Had K82 and upon check in it was awful smelling. I called. They sprayed the curtains and air vent. It didn’t help. It smelled like something died under the cabin. I told a 2nd person still nothing. Overall everything was smooth and we enjoyed the Halloween Weekend in October. The cabin itself could of used some dusting. When I went to cook food the counter had ants coming out of the oven top range which grossed me out.

We checked in Friday with no issues, fast simple and easy! the bathrooms could have been cleaner but it's camping Love all the different activities for all ages during the Halloween weekends the Train should run continuously, never got to ride it hence the LONG lines :( Great atmosphere over all :)

We had a wonderful stay overall! Our only concern was a staff member who approached us yelling and asking who he needed to send home before taking the time to understand the situation. We had not said anything before he became upset. We understand rules must be enforced, but guests deserve to be treated respectfully. Taking a moment to listen before jumping to conclusions would be appropriate.

I was not very pleased with my stay the room we were in the fridge didn’t work, so all the food we brought with us spoiled, there was also a huge crack at the bottom of the door that let in a lot of cold air, leaves, and could easily let in mice and other critters. We had a blast - 7 families - 23 kids and adults- all in cabins or campers. This is our 4th here and we have already scheduled for next year! Thank you all the staff members!

We’ve enjoyed bringing our family here for over 30 years. With that being said, the cleanliness of the cabins have deteriorated. We stayed in lodge 339 and it really needs to be deep cleaned. For the price you charge for the lodges, they should be immaculate. I had to cover the table in the gazebo because it was disgusting. As was the outside kitchen. You need to power wash the outside .

Events were great- train rides should be more often so everyone can ride. Also food wait times are very long if you are able to get food at all.

We were in K25. We are pretty sure the heat was not working. We had it at 86 all night and still woke up with cold nose, ears and face and toes. The bathroom near this site did need to be cleaned a little more often. We will be back but not to that cabin. If it is cold out we don't want to be cold all weekend.

Please have the bathrooms cleaned daily. We arrived Friday, 10.16 & they were not cleaned until Sunday morning around 9:30 when everyone was trying to pack up & leave. The same clump of hair was in the sink all weekend. Toilets were not flushed & overall not a clean feeling. Please consider an additional hand dryer or invest in paper towel dispenser. This was the bathroom on Lacey.

I really enjoy the activities and camaraderie, but my cabin was very dirty upon arrival. Also, the pics on the site do not at all represent what is given.

We had a great Halloween camping weekend at KOA Port Huron! The weather was perfect, and we made wonderful family memories outdoors. Unfortunately, the cabin could have been much cleaner, the toilet broke again immediately after maintenance fixed it, and the bathroom door was broken and couldn’t be repaired. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the cabin needs some attention.

I paid extra to pick my site. Got checked in and went to site and there were people already in the cabin I booked. The front desk took care of issue and refunded me some money.

There's way too many battery or motorized things like powered scooters, bikes, and golf carts. It was chaos. Kids, and adults were flying everywhere. People were driving through campsites. A couple kids on normal scooters wiped out on the grass by our cabin trying to avoid other kids flying by. All weekend I worried my kids were going to get hit. It’s been awhile since I’ve stayed at Port Huron KOA, like I have not been here since my childhood. It was so nice to be back and also see so many things I remember doing that I can now do with my son. All of the employees were so nice & helpful. We had an amazing weekend and can’t wait to come back next year!

Our cabin we rented was dirty and smelled of dog pee. Fortunately the KOA had an extra cabin for us to have. The lack of oversight from the campground was horrible. No enforcement of golf carts. Was almost hit by several walking the road. Ive been coming to this campground for over 10yrs. After my last experience we will no longer stay at this KOA. also the amount of unleashed dogs running

The stay was fine, as expected. The cabins were absolutely disgusting. Not swept, wiped, dead bugs all over the floor and in the window tracks, and had to scrape gum off the floor on top of the floor being black when I wiped up spilled water. Also, no dust pan for the broom. I would not recommend due to how unclean the cabins were and will not be back next year.

My family and I had the most enjoyable stay. Loved the area we were in, very quiet and woodsy! The only thing was we had a broken broom in our cabin. I used my grandsons . He was in the cabin next to mine.

Had a great time. Everything was good. My only complaint would be you guys Gouge people for firewood. $8 For 4 or 5 little logs that last 30min if lucky. So $16hr to have a fire. Just pure greed, which makes me unlikely to return.

The bathrooms were left un-maintained for those staying in "rustic cabins" which is difficult when traveling with younger children. I also got charged $25 key deposit for a key I returned. Got charged because the plastic key tag was broken when we got it. Yet, they charged me for it when it got returned. Tried to call today to resolve. Naturally NO ANSWER

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
