I have the same complaint. Unsupervised children I witnessed a child (possibly 3 or 4) almost get hit twice by a go cart while he was riding his electric bike. He was riding down the rode and in and out of park vehicles. There has to be a way to have more adult supervision for these children!!!!

The staff and employees were absolutely wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner was disappointing. We had two separate interactions where he was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. Instead of approaching us politely to ask about a concern, he spoke to us in a very crabby and disrespectful manner.

We stayed in K7 this past weekend and my 9 year old and myself got bedbugs!!! I have video and pictures. It’s very upsetting and I will have to report it to the health department. My arms, ankles and feet are covered in bites:( My daughter’s legs are covered as well. Im so disappointed and VERY grossed out.

The workers at the facility were extremely rude. Very disrespectful to myself and the other adults in our party. An adult in our party was trying to back out there and was told they could not drive on the grass. He was extremely rude when speaking to her. You can enforce rules and still be respectful of your patrons.

I just liked everything about staying here. from the ease of check-in, to the text messaging to order anything. This property does a great job.

Almost everything was perfect. The bathrooms were a wreck almost the whole weekend, they could definitely use more regular cleanings. I did treat the number to let them know that the bathrooms needed cleaning and they did eventually come.

I've been coming to this KOA for many years during Halloween. I was disappointed this time with how I was charged excessively for things that were not happening. I was charged 10.00 a day for an extra adult (my son). I paid over 250.00 a night for the lodging cabin, so why am I paying extra for an adult that fits? I had to pay 10.00 a day for a dog that was only with me for one night.

The check in & check out process is well done.Some of our cabins had broken curtain rods & shelves.Overall cabins were clean.Bathrooms are disgusting.If you continue hiring students they need to be TRAINED!! Great Halloween weekend for the kids . The events were fun. BUT the bathrooms definitely need updating. In the women’s bathroom by our cabin one stall kept overflowing. Two had broken handles. The men’s bathroom had one urinal that was dirty and had something in it the whole entire weekend.

We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of our cabin. It appeared that it hadn't been properly cleaned, with cobwebs in the corners, grimy floors, and bugs everywhere. The shared bathrooms near our cabin were also in poor condition, and the toilets frequently clogged. Overall, it was not the experience we were hoping for. We come to Port Huron KOA every year for Halloween camping.

The bathrooms lacked adequate attention, they were dirty during all times of the day. I also felt the activities were disorganized, and didn’t leave enough fun for kids involved that may be small or come at the back of the group. Overall we would come back but maybe with different accommodations during the summer.

Port Huron KOA does a tremendous job during Halloween weekends. All the activities were wonderful and ran smoothly. We are already looking forward to next year!!

I would rate this higher, but the weekend I just stayed was not as good as usual. The bathrooms were FILTHY even after I complained. Pee stained toilet bowls all weekend as though they werent cleaned at all. Paper, hair, hair ties, dirt and filth all over the floors, no soap in any dispenser. The campers next to us blasted music and screamed till 2am, the kids with them threw balls into our tent.

Our stay was great, always is at Port Huron KOA, nice staff and very busy park. Many of us that stayed do feel that electric scooters and bikes need to have to follow the 5 mile speed limit the same as golf carts do. They are more likely to run into children and golf carts as they go much faster and the people that ride them fly way to fast. It needs to be looked into. Thank you

Beautiful campground with a lot of great activities for children. Check in was quick with at least 5 employees. Bathrooms needed attention, floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile. Firepit was full of ashes and garbage was in neighbors pit. There were a lot of kids running/biking around without paying attention to vehicle traffic which made us nervous driving in/out of campgroun

Facilities and staff were excellent. However your seasonal campers need a leason in camping etiquette. While I was setting up, when I 1st arrived, the neighbor showed up and complained to the staff about my truck overhanging into their site while I was leveling my camper. Over the following days we put up loud music, bubble machine, talking after quite hrs., and trash bags placed in our site.

Our stay was fine. The staff wasn’t especially helpful or friendly. Our biggest disappointment was we were expecting resort experience like the one we get at the Shelby/Mansfield KOA where all activities are included with the site rental. Port Huron charges for everything. We were looking for a place we could take our grandkids but this wasn’t it.

Great front desk staff. Wonderful place for families. Beautiful park and fun atmosphere. Shower facilities were filthy in evening, morning and afternoon. Sad considering the rest of the parks positive features. It is clear management or owners are not managing the cleaning crew and following up on their work. Plenty of staff driving around in carts but disgusting facilities.

My stay was great! However nome of the bathroom buildings were cleaned the entire weekend. There was feces in the men's shower for 2 days. We did not see any cleaning staff in the bathrooms all weekend. We walked around to several different bathrooms and all of therm were dirty. For the most part the staff were great. One senior staff that was rude. We will back.

I stayed in L314 and it was filthy when I arrived along with all the other Lodges in my area. I’ve stayed in tents, I’ve stayed in campers and cabins and lodges. I checked in and left and came back and realized it was never swept or wiped down. It was too late for someone to come clean but I did it and was disappointed. There was mouse droppings in the fuse box. Could’ve been wiped out.

We had fun but It was really dirty this year! The cabin had dried food on the counter and clearly wasn't swept or wiped down. ALL public restroom were very dirty. Im talking tampons left in toilets, poop in urinals and just filthy all around. This was disappointing as it never is this dirty. I really hope there is improvement next year.

Our ages ranged from 85 to 6 and everyone had fun. We have been coming to this campground for 17 years. The activities are always fun.

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
