Disappointing. The bathrooms were horrendous. Upon arrival on Friday afternoon, the bathrooms were already in disarray. No toilet paper at all (not one square) for most of the day Saturday in bathroom next to K25 despite multiple messages to inform staff. Dirty, unsanitary, multiple stopped toilets. Visited multiple bathrooms that were in similar conditions.

Stayed for the first weekend in October. Hallo celebration. Plenty of activities for all ages. Staff was great. The only negative, the restrooms and showers could have had additional attention, not as clean as our last stay. Clumps of hair in the showers that were there for three days and fixtures were stained like they had not been cleaned for a while.

There was underwear on one of the bunk beds when we got there. Two nails sticking out of the headboard on the full bed & the women’s bathroom and showers were very dirty this year. I love coming here every year, but the housekeeping needs to be much much better!!

This is one of my favorite KOA locations but something was up with the restrooms being extremely dirty. Toilets not flushing, water in sinks not draining, no toilet paper in some stalls and lose Toilets. Im not sure if it was due to the volume of campers during Halloween Camping but I have never seen it this bad. Maybe have a company come in and clean if its a staffing issue.

Usually the camp sites are well kept but upon arriving on Friday at 5, 2 stalls in the women’s bathroom were clogged and overflown. I reached out to the office three times over the weekend due to there not being any toilet paper in the stalls. Very inconvenient with several small kids. I’ve never seen the camp sites this dirty. Trash thrown over our sites at check in. I was shocked.

We really love staying here. Lots of things to do for the kids and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. This comment is not a reflection of the campground but it should be addressed. If the speed limit is 5 mph, motorized scooters and bikes should also abide by that. Too many times we saw bikes and scooters passing by, even with kids around playing, going much faster than that.

The stay was fantastic, I do wish more of the plots had shade but other than that everything was amazing, especially the after hours help who assisted us after our neice vomited all over our bed and cabin!

We have been going to this place every year for Halloween. It’s always a good time. My only complaint is the bathroom’s cleanliness. It was very dirty and things ran out for 3 days. You can tell that no one came to clean during my stay.

Came for Halloweekend. Bathrooms were dirty, didn't offer things that were advertised and then received major attitude from the girl at the check in desk when asked about the activities. Train only ran every hour, though there was plenty of interest to have it running every half hour. This isn't our first trip for this but we left feeling like it was just meh.

I was there for 3 nights and it was awesome. The only complaint is that the bathrooms in that whole time by the cabins were not cleaned. It was pretty disgusting in the showers as well.

The flowers and landscape were well done. But when we pulled into our site the trash from the previous camper was still there. Not a positive welcome. Halloween is not our thing, so the focus on Halloween was not appealing to us. Also, we felt like we were camping at a amusement park rather than a campground. Not our preference for camping. We will probably not camp here again.

I am a seasonal camper. Never any problems and we love spending our summer there. Grandkids love it because there is a lot of things to do there for them no matter the age.

One huge suggestion is for the kids on electric scooters and electric bikes; post in your rules the max speed is no different than with vehicles and golf carts. The kids (sometimes adults) are zooming around with no care for themselves or others. Also put in the rules the kids need to follow the same rules as vehicles when traveling the roads, stay on the right side, go with traffic.

We had a great time as this was our 2nd year doing halloweekend there and we already booked for next year. I do have 2 things we weren't happy about. 1 was we got there Thursday and I tried renting a golf cart and was told they were booked all weekend. Also we stood in line to ride the train for 30 mins only to not be able to get on & told to wait another hr. Kids were sad and never got a ride.

The staff was friendly and we enjoyed most of our stay. The bathrooms in the building by our site 3 out of 5 shower stalls were not working. The bathrooms were always dirty, the door to the bathroom was broken. We were in a campsite and we had to clean up trash from the previous occupants. They left batteries in the fire pit, there were cigarette butts on our site. I expect more for what we pay.

We had a large group for our annual Halloween camping trip this weekend. We love it and the activities but we all have the same complaint year after year - the bathrooms. It seems they never get cleaned the entire weekend.

We have been coming to koa port huron for about 15 years total and out group has grown to about 100 people or more. Every year we come koa has more and more ways to make us not want to come again. The rules they enforce seem like they are excessive. I understand trying to keep people safe but when you are constantly telling people not to do things, it makes it not fun.

We had a wonderful time. Campground is clean and staff is friendly. However, all our food frozen in the refrigerator and we could not adjust the dial. We were so busy, I failed to let the staff know.

We have stayed at port Huron 3 years now. The bathrooms were poorly cleaned this visit and our cabin was minimally attended to. We have always had a great stay here and hoping this is a one off.

We have been coming for Halloween for years. Great campground, clean, friendly with quick checkin. Only thing I wish was different is train ride on Fridays, more wagon rides and change up the activities every year.

We do annual trips for the Port Huron KOA for many years. Every year it seems to change. The kids activities are not what they use to be, they used to have just small activities they would love to do. The stay was great aside from the very dirty bathrooms. Toliet paper was out in a few stalls or running very low. The showers were horrendous filled with dirty floors, trash and even poop smeared on the floor. The sinks were filthy, too. I understand how crowded it was but the bathrooms need to be cleaned throughout the weekend.

Love the things kids can do. Grounds are beautiful!. But the owner is rude and unprofessional. Probably will not return. Need more golf carts. And need to post rules for judging Halloween decorating sites. Things are not fair. And no I’m not mad because I didn’t win anything from KOA. I won by watching 100s of adults and children walk thru our haunted house

Our stay was great, our only concern would be the train, our site was close to the train so I was able to observe. I would evaluate the cooling down concerns with the train , it could be solved .

Everything was good overall I have a complaint about the dog walk by the kabins No dog bags and people weren’t picking up the dogs messes. My other complaint is the amount of kids driving golf carts, scooters and bikes and not watching for people or cars My dog and I were walking and moved onto the grass and kids were driving toward us and one even directly hit my dog with his bike.

That was not camping. So many golf carts you could t walk the park. Nickel and dime you for anything and everything. I gave it a two because it would be entertaining if you had kids. But it still is t camping.

We had an amazing Halloween weekend. My only gripe would be when we got there the fire pit was full of garbage. Other than that we had an amazing time. 10 out of 10 would recommend. We’ll see you next year.

I have the same complaint. Unsupervised children I witnessed a child (possibly 3 or 4) almost get hit twice by a go cart while he was riding his electric bike. He was riding down the rode and in and out of park vehicles. There has to be a way to have more adult supervision for these children!!!!

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
