We were very disappointed because we rented a golf cart fri was 110$ and sat was 130$ on Halloween weekend had to pick up at 9 am and turn in at 7 pm couldn't go around in the evening to see all decorations lit up and we had to go to the campsite then walk all the way back to check in because we were way in the back of campground and the decoration contest was not fair a group won singles no chanc

Nice campground, friendly employees, rough on the extras. We had a full hookup site with septic uphill from the parking spot and camper on a very tilted surface, needing to pull the downhill wheels onto several blocks in order to get the tanks to empty. Cards failed for almost everyone in our camping group and needed replacements, add in $50 fire = overpriced experience

Upon arrival at 9:30 PM, I was given the keys to my room and a map to get there at night. Once I found the room, it was stinky of a dog and dog poop. I called to get assistance I received another set of keys to another cabin that wasn’t as bad but still smelled. My family was exhausted so I cleaned it and aired it out. It was a horrible inconvenience.we slept in the car our 1st night

always a good time. been coming to KOA over 25 years. I love the halloween weekends. kids had a blast!

It took 3 days for staff to empty an overflowing garbage can. I understand that vehicles are required to go 5 mph, however you have adults and even KIDS driving golf way faster then 5mph which can cause just as much damage to person. The speed is DEFIANTLY not enforced. This the 4th time staying here, we love the campground but this year the cleanliness was not were it has been in the past.

First time for Halloween Camping. Enjoyed all the activities set up for the kids. Wondered why trick or treating times Are so early.? Other than that, we had a wonderful time!!

Bed in the kabin was broken and uncomfortable. All activities were geared towards young kids, nothing for teens or adults. Besides the constant smell of weed, also smelled urine in our kabin near the bath house. Very crowded during Halloween weekend with no crowd control blocking streets to travel on.

Haven’t been to this Port Huron KOA in many years. We stayed over Labor Day weekend 2026 and had a great time. Park is very clean. Sites are good size and level. All the staff that we had contact with were very helpful and friendly. Pool was clean, although I wish it was a little warmer! Had a great time in sawmill city - putt, putt, golf, bumper boats and go carts.

Was put at the far back with an empty park and could not get wifi Stopped late after a long journey to do laundry and one machine was broken and no laundry detergent to purchase Shower curtains were ripped and useless for stopping the water from going on the floor Had to switch showers as there was no hot water in the first one

This has become our favorite campground in Michigan! The staff is friendly, the grounds are always neat and clean and we ALWAYS enjoy our stay!

It was a nice KOA Resort ! Just to many people and to many kids in the pool. So many Golf Carts driving around. Overall I was happy.

Too many golf carts playing extremely loud music as they cruise the campground all day long. Private owned golf carts driving FAST, makes it hard to walk. It's just way too busy and loud to get any peace. The sites were great and lots of different sites and cabins to choose from.

Liked the eara we were in. Shady, lots trees, lots to do or just relax. Staff very friendly and helpful. Love the outside kitchen never saw anything like that . Kids loved it also will return again. Hope to plan bringing all family next year.

This was the last-minute decision to come check this place out, and my goodness… We keep thinking about going to other KOA that are closer and then just decide to go back here because I have it all � thank you guys! We’ll see you in just a few weeks!

Our second time camping there. It is a wonderful site, with lots to do for the family. We'll be camping there again next year!

The online reservation for the golf carts is not very clear. My paperwork said I had it 9-4 thru 9/6, I picked it up 9/6 and drove off. About an hour later they chased me down and said I owed another $130, I showed them my paperwork, they said they made a mistake! So I returned the card because I was not paying for it again! Terrible overly priced rental program!

Our stay was awesome as always but the campers that were close by us did non stop of smoking weed. Other than that we always enjoy coming there.

The campground was beautiful, check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was very responsive and helpful with the few small issues we had. The whole campground had such a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

So many fun things for my children to do! Will return again. Only issues, the bathrooms smelled bad (even though I saw them cleaning it so many times!!). There was a group of teens being extremely inappropriate and aggressive in the pool and on the jumping pillow. To a point where one of the teens punched my child. We brought it up to the KOA staff and they attempted to handle it.

We had a great time! But our cabin was not very clean and there were bugs everywhere. We ended up checking out the evening before due to it. The general store wasn’t stocked very well either. The bathrooms only being cleaned once a day doesn’t make sense and they weren’t cleaned very well. But we had a blast throughout the park and the staff was great!

we stay there annually and this year there was a big improvement in customer service. Very good. Suggestions. Down the main aisle or street have a walking lane way to many people walking in the middle so traffic could get by. And finally ban ebikes. Being operated in reckles manor

We had a wonderful stay. Lots of activities for adults and children. One comment would be cleaning the bathrooms and pool more. On the last day none of the stalls had toilet paper in either the men’s or women’s washroom and the bathrooms were quite dirty. Overall awesome stay and we’ve booked for next year.

Campground is great, but bathrooms need some attention. Multiple times we went to multiple bathrooms and there was no toilet paper in any of them. We had kids in tears the last day because they had to go so bad and couldn’t find a bathroom with TP. Just stock up!

We had a good stay, as far as being family friendly there’s a lot to do however I found the bathrooms to be disgusting every single time I used them, the pool area had teens swearing and fighting and when I messaged the staff about it I was told someone would come by and deal with the problem and no one ever came, I spent over an hour listening to them swear and use foul language and fight

Port Huron KOA has lots to do. The workers are nice and helpful. Wish there was more seating at the playgrounds for parents, wish the train didnt run just on the hour and more continuously, and garbage pickup can take awhile. But overall its a nice campground with so much to do to keep the kids busy.

You have lost control of your campground! Campers have absolutely no camping etiquette whatsoever,they just do as they please. People cutting through my campsite, people next to me using my campsite as they see fit. 8-9 yo kids on electric bikes blasting down the road at 35-40mph with no regard to anything or anyone around,golf carts going in every direction and no traffic cops anywhere in sight!

Bathrooms were gross. Clogged toilet for 2 days with feces floating at the top. Urine all over the floors. Smelled awful. Garage wasn’t taken and animals got into it and made a huge mess. Neighbors were so loud past 11 pm and we asked them to please quiet down and they told us to go back to our tent. We would not stay again.

If you know you are going to have a lot of guest of your campground, bathrooms should be check regularly. There was no toilet paper or soap in the middle bathroom come Sunday. I feel like they should have been cleaned and stocked Saturday night. Then when you try and call to let them know their phones done work.

Take my grandkids every year for hallow weekends We always have a great time! Lots of activities for the kids Upgraded cabins are great...bathrooms are great...and staff is great! Definitely recommend

We just returned from the worse experience ever from this Koa! They claim that I had a cabin that I booked back in June 2025 on line. We booked 7 lodges transferred them out of my name, for some reason one did not get transferred. When I confronted them they basically said not their problem . They were not the least bit helpful. They would not let a manager talk to me they put me on hold. The manager hid behind a 16 yr old employee. . The employee came told me that in January 2026 I went back on line and chose my site. Crazy! It was no where near the others I booked. I told them I was going to dispute the charge. The employee proceeded to tell me that her manager said I will be charged criminally. The owner Harold Stein came to my rv site and threatened me. He said I would have to leave if I was going to dispute the charges. He did this in front of my grandchildren. He explained how much money he was loosing becsuse he wouldn't be able to rent it out, well it was rented out the next morning. So I paid 400 for my rv site, 278 for the cancellation which he got back the next when he rented the lodge. They then called me Saturday night and told me I owed 20 because I had a visitor- who was my son-in law picking up my 1 yr old grandson to take him home and told me that their employee made a mistake and to come up there, are you for real. They were closed so my daughter went to pay it Sunday when she was leaving they didn't know what she was talking about! But it was definitely my fault about the cabin (REALLY) if they didn't rent it out , I wouldn't be as mad, telling me how much money he is loosing. Please!! The owner caused chaos on Saturday night chasing down a scooter almost causing an accident .Trying to fight a guest. I am calling them to tell them that I would like them to give me a credit on my cc card for the lodge they rented. Let's see if they are capable of doing the right thing as a business. Other guests there this weekend complained about the owner Mr. Stein!! Shame Shame Shame Hopefully they do the right thing and return the deposit I do have pics of the lodge rented I would like to apologize. I did not see the refund that the Koa had given to me until I did my bills. Mr. Stein had held up his end so I do apologize. When we talked we were both upset- it was a misunderstanding so I wanted to clear that up and apologize and thank him. As for the chaos I heard about on Saturday I do believe he was very frustrated with the scooters, I do know I was. I hope they ban them and they go back to bikes. We have been going there for o er 25 yrs and never ever had a problem. I am sorry for the over reaction. Thank you again for holding up your on your word. Hope to put this behind us and are able to make many more memories at the Koa…Thank you again Mr. Stein and the Koa staff.
