1 pool closed and the other freezing cold on a hot summer day. Invest in a pool heater or turn it on if you have one. Bee nests all through out the wood railings by the stores. Camp Site was good.

We only stayed one night and were bummed we didn't stay two! The rustic cabin was the perfect size for five people. It was clean. The bathrooms were clean; the showers, though, could have been cleaner. Great facilities, we had a nice wooded section (I think I would have been upset if we had gotten the cabins that had no trees around them). We did not get to use the pool because it closed so early.

I had an Excellent time there! I want to personally recognize Gavin! He went above and beyond help me when I got there Monday, (my chain came off my bike and he fixed it when he didn’t have to) I was so impressed by his service! So courteous, friendly and an exceptional willingness to help. He was greatly appreciated.�

While the campground may offer all the amenities of a KOA Resort, certain conditions ruined our stay. Children on bicycles repeatedly sped through adjoining empty campsites. The bathrooms were in deplorable condition, possibly owing to an undefined cleaning schedule. There was no hot water in a shower. Employees were impersonal and showed the stress of being understaffed.

We're sorry you missed out on the bumper boats. As the local schools are still in session, we operate them on a limited schedule this time of year. Once school is out for the summer, demand increases and we have additional staff available, allowing us to open the bumper boats full time.

Most of the time our stays are fine, we camp here frequently. The 1 complaint I could say is a consistent problem is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the total lack of hot water. The bathroom floors need to be swept before they are mopped, there is always filth on the shower floors. And the only bathroom with hot enough water for showering is the one by the laundromat. The rest are cool water

We reserved the KOA for the amenities, pot pot the ice cream store, the little strip area but when we were there not 1 was open. Have we been told all of them would be closed?We probably would not have camped there. Also our cabin had a bee problem, i am highly allergic. We had to have someone come twice.. Not once did anyone ask if we wanted to change cabins. No one picked up trash for 2 days.

Was just one night …Very clean and groomed, huge beautiful trees BUT when we came in and checked in the directions were horrible, The young girl took a black sharpie and drew the direction across all the names of the streets….We ended up after getting lost twice wife ask woman in golf cart to please direct us to our spot, Thank God she did because we were lost .

I have been coming to this location for 11 years, this time was less than perfect, very disappointing. The first problem was at check in, I specifically booked my favorite cabin with oven which there are only 2 cabins with ovens (L288 and L308) i was told that it does not matter which cabin you book online because when you get there computer automatically picks the cabin. i was charged $25-$35 mo

We had a blast camping at Port Huron KOA this past weekend! Our cabin was spotless, comfy, and just enough space for our family. The campground was quiet, lots of kids, and other campers were respectful. The staff were friendly, prompt, polite and very knowledgeable. We haven't been here in 20 years and it was great going back! Lots has changed. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a wonderful time, surrounded by happy and friendly people that volunteer to help us put our tent up, restrooms were always cleaned, many enjoyable activities to keep you busy, very large land to explore, restaurants on site for days when you don't feel like cooking which is very convenient. Definitely will be returning.

Our girl scout troop stayed at Port Huron KOA this weekend, and we had a fantastic time! This was completely last minute, on Friday after our original plans fell through, but Amanda was able to book us within an hour in the perfect spot, walking distance to everything and cabins all next to each other. When I dropped my wallet on the train ride, Corey on a golf cart got it for me. Thank you KOA!

We had an amazing time at Port Huron Koa RV camping! Very kid friendly! Ice cream shop, snack shop, arcade, the also have a pizza shop which we did not try but tried everything else mention and it was wonderful! Also connected to the sawmill city and we did go carts. We had a blast! Highly recommend!

Very young UNTRAINED STAFF Our church group Heart of the Hills Christian Church has been coming to PH-KOA for 30 years and have had great times with many things to do , however the guest situation desperately needs attention and was impossible to deal with by the SECURITY TEAM , Making reservations for guests has become a problem , 5-29-26 was very difficult and invited guest had to leave

I feel check-out times for the lodges / cabins should be 1:00pm. Also vendors should stay open later.

Thank you for the great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, our housekeeping needs more than a two hour window to fully clean and reset our lodges. As for amenity hours, they operate full time once school is out and the campground is in peak season.

Couldn't check in the first day and was still charged.

Because the reservation wasn’t checked in on the first night and we didn’t receive a cancellation notice, it was processed as a no show. Our cancellation policy states that no show reservations are non refundable, as the site is reserved and unavailable to other campers.

The staff were very professional and polite. The campground is nice as well. The only reason why I did not provide five stars is because housekeeping did not do a great job cleaning the bathroom. I had to clean the tub sink and toilet. I could’ve reported it and they probably would’ve had somebody clean it. I just took care of it myself because I was about to get in the shower. I will be back!

Rented a cabin and it was not clean. Toys squirt gun and obvious candy wrappers under bed. Nothing swept, mopped, or wiped in a very long time. I understand this is camping but when you’re paying hotel prices and staying for opening weekend I would not expect it to be filthy. The dust and dirt was thick. The last 3 times we have booked have been the same. Sad that bare minimum is done at A resor

Maybe the best KOA we’ve ever seen. Wide selection of tent sites, cabins and RV sites all under shady trees. We were just stopping one night in shoulder season so nice and quiet but it looks like they have tons of activities all summer and 2 pools, lots of playgrounds. We enjoyed our stay, lots for the kids to do. The only issue we had was the bathrooms need to be checked more often. They were out of soap often and I went in there once and there was no toilet paper in any stall.

Bathrooms took a beating. They were destroyed, kept getting locked from the inside so they weren’t usable and always out of toilet paper. Carpenter bee holes around the whole cabin and had to have them come out twice to spray. Our fire pit was right next to the side of the cabin that had 3 holes the bees made. They also kept forgetting to deliver wood that we texted and were charged for.

Came in late, was given a map to our site, a little difficult to find in the dark. Normally the attendant takes you to your site but guess this is not the case for this KOA. Bathrooms needed attention, they were dirty and smelled bad.

Our boys had a great time exploring the campground and activities. During nonstop rain, the pavilion helped, but side curtains or panels would make it much more useful. Our biggest concern was the low cabin porch roof corners. Several people hit their heads, and two sustained bleeding cut. Adding flower pots or barriers at the corners could help improve safety. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Great cabin stay—clean, comfortable beds and good heaters. Easy check-in/out even on a busy weekend. Tons to do and entertainment was solid. Campground was mostly quiet. Downsides were dirty bathrooms/showers, ripped TP covers, and mislabeled hot/cold (learned the hard way with cold showers!).

been coming here for years but cabin 49 is where we were at this trip and it was filled with spider eggs in the walls had spiders land on our faces and dead Beatles and spiders the staff needs to clean better never had a issue before this

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
