The communication was great. The planned activities are awesome. My only complaint is related to the cleanliness of the cabins and campsite. There was a lot of garbage on the ground surrounding the cabins. In addition, the cabins could really use a deep cleaning and update. On the surface things look clean, but when you look closer you can see lots of cobwebs, grease, ground in dirt, etc.

We have been to this campground for 6 years in a row now with a large group and always have a great time. We enjoy the pillow, bike rentals and proximity to go karts at sawmill especially. We always stay in a deluxe lodge and usually encounter minor issues (this year a broken drawer and outlet in the kitchen and a really loud/squeaky futon) but nothing too bad. Staff is friendly and helpful!

The campsite itself is a lot of fun and we enjoyed ourselves. I gave you 2 stars because the cleanliness of the lodges is really horrible. I understand that it is "camping" I do not expect perfection but I am wondering if the lodges were cleaned at all. There was urine on the toilet seat. The loft had crumbs and candy wrappers all over. The floors, window sill, blinds caked with layers of dirt.

I would give this place a 5 if they haven’t started charging high rates for cabins that are spot cleaned. Considering you bring your own linen and it’s more than a hotel! No running water no toilets. Which is what I like but these used to cost a fraction of the price now. Unfortunately I don’t think it was worth the price. Very nice atmosphere

Very disappointed this year in the cleanliness of the lodge! When we got hold of someone they were there immediately to clean what I had not already done. That was very comforting. Manager also compensated us for the inconvenience, which again was a big plus! We had to contact the front desk several times and after time on hold we were told we were on hold to long and the call was disconnected.

For the amount of money charged for the deluxe cabins, I would expect a little better. They were very dirty, not just mine but others in our party as well. Our cabin drains, the only way I can explain it, burped a nasty sewer smell that permeated the whole cabin. We wanted to rent a golf cart, was told first come first serve. We love this campground, however the cabin we stayed in is too small, bathroom is incredibly small along with kitchen space. We were lucky enough to get this one however for a Halloween weekend so we made due. In the future we will not rent these type cabins. Really love the place however!

We had a great time! I was disappointed to not be able to rent a golf cart on Friday when we arrived. Checking in at 3 and being charged a full day for 4 hours of use is disappointing. There were plenty available but they would not rent for a half day so we were not able to rent one. Kids were disappointed. We did rent for Saturday but typically do both days.

Great stay! Just wish that foul explicit music was shut down when it’s supposed to be a family environment. We had to call and report it and then the person turned it on again not even an hour later…

I joined a group of friends for the Halloween-themed weekend at the KOA. Some campsites had put a lot of effort into decorating, and fun was had by all. The campsite feels safe, has a great variety of accommodations to help you 'rough it' to the degree you want, and has plenty of washrooms. Someone who is used to camping at national parks may think this is too developed, but it is a great spot.

Stayed at tent hexagon… very spacious area n close to bathroom. Campground is way too busy for our taste.. especially for the adults in my party.. kinda hard to keep track of your kids… would be nice to have ice delivered along with the wood…not sure we’ll be back next year…employee PAT was awesome to us ..

To many bugs, rules that seemed silly, teenagers with zero customer skills running the place, cumbersome check in policy. Maybe if I was coming for a week from Detroit with kids but as an overnight w/o kids, expensive and over the top.

The resort was great with many things to do and the food places was great. Food was fresh and hot and the staff over all was very pleasant and friendly. The only complaint was that the mosquitoes was horrible at night. The campground may want to look into spraying late at night to try to minimize it some. Great resort and would go back but will definitely bring a mosquito fogger.

Lovely campground. Poor wifi Very tight sites. I recommend the patio sites for big rigs. Lots of shade, lots of trees to get around. Good for overnight. Super close to Canadian Bridge

Always a great stay at this KOA. We got site 302, as it was a nice location for being quiet I do wish that KOA would provide members the site numbers in advance (even if it is a week ahead) so that we could better plan. This site had a lot of bugs and with 2 young ones we would have brought a kitchen tent with screens or something of that nature. Just allows for better planning. thank you

Had a good stay. Love the adjacent fun park! Definitely need to find a way to manage the mosquito population! Impossible to enjoy a campfire in the evening, you get eaten alive my mosquitoes! Other than that, great park!

Here’s the biggest problem with port Huron KOA, people don’t respect your campsite, or know what camping etiquette is. I had people walking through my campsite at all hours of the day & night. both sites behind me had no problem walking through my site, walking there dog , there kids or friends through my site. #1 on your urgent flyer,Don’t walk through peoples campsites!!!

When we registered we put in no pets no kids and two adults Why were we in a area with the ice cream parlour the store the bike rentals ect.. it was no stop noise from little ones to the teens at night And the three wheel bikes share the road with cars and trucks with rv So surprised no one was run over We left two days early! Better site we would have stayed

The first night there we had our yeti cooler stolen. Staff said they would look into it, and even though there was a camera directed toward our site, we heard nothing back. The mosquitoes were awful.

Was only there for 1 night. I went to sign in, the girl who helped me was very rude. When asked if I'd been here before I answered no. She grabbed the pamphlet, highlighted the directions, threw me a card and never said anything. We have a large 5th wheel and she gave us the wrong street to enter...had to ask what the card was for. No information. Mesquitos were horrible! wifi woudn't work.

Been here a few times with great experiences. End of season is not desirable; so many amenities shut down, food fryer was down - which basically left us w. icecream as an option for food onsite. Mosquitos were HORRIBLE. Staff was friendly.

This is a fairly nice campground. A lot of activities for children and families. They had a Halloween weekend when we were there with trick or treating from 4 - 5:30. They have a some very nice campsites but some are a little small.
