I love this KOA! We have already made reservations for next year. This was our only visit where the bathrooms were often not in their best working order. The central pool bathrooms were out of soap in 3/4 sinks over our entire visit. Floors weren’t mopped very well. That was a little disappointing, but it won’t keep us from coming back. It’s a special place.

Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. $20.00 to pick a site is too much since you’re already paying to stay.

Quite pleasant atmosphere. Very thankful to staff in the pizza parlor and the lodge care when we need a blanket. So peaceful!

Woke up to violent pounding on our door before 8am by a belligerent koa employee. Yelling about sexually harassing a young girl, & pressing charges, swearing & yelling my husband's full name, had all the neighboring campers looking @ us like we were crazy. Went to our friend's cabin, started yelling @ the kids that answered the door. Come to find out he had the wrong person & mgmt was like oh well

sites near the stores and activity park was very noisy and active with non stop traffic of people, bikes, carts and cars. Also, everyday lawn mowers and blowers were started up at 8am in this area.

It was a great stay with 2 exceptions. 1. When you have a tent with your camper we were asked to move the tent from the grass to the gravel or cement the next day no one mentioned it when we were checking in. How are to sleep on rocks or stake the tent down? 2. The bathrooms were always wet there should be some type of fan in there drying the floor someone could really get hurt.

People partying in camp kitchen until midnight parking in spot that are for the other sites. First cabin we had, A/C didn't work and there was bugs coming out of electricity outlet. Next cabin we got moved to A/C hardly worked and was 90° for the night. The guy that was sent to help us got us a portable A/C and that helped cool it little bit more. We wanted to about asking for refund.

Check in was quick and smooth. Site was very nice. Had a issue with the cable box. Problem was fixed very quickly. Very nice and clean resort. We will be back

We came to KOA as young adults and are now coming back as parents with our children. The memories we have and are now making are cherished! HOWEVER….I have never been to a camp ground with more disgusting bathrooms. I was staying near the bathroom and I only saw workers there 1 time to clean. The showers and bathrooms were horrible. Our family had a good time and made some good memories!

I'm not a big camper but enjoyed the air conditioned cabin. Bathroom facilities always had a wet floor but I don't know if this could be helped. The cool pool was very refreshing in the 90 + degree heat and discounted tickets to Sawmill city were helpful to cool off in bumper boats.

We have stayed at the Port Huron KOA many times and consider it our favorite campground. But this time we were somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the campground. Maybe people are just messier but in the past there were staff going around picking up trash and this time the trash on the ground was left for days. Other than that we love this campground.

We had a deluxe lodge/cabin and it pretty much has everything you could want or need in a stay. Having a refrigerator was great as was the burners for breakfast. The bathroom was perfect size and had plenty of storage. Definitely will be back again.

Had a fantastic time as always. My family has been coming here annually for over 25 years. Could not believe after all these years, they got rid of almost all the horseshoe pits near the front. I’m part of the group that holds a large tournament every year. Really wish you guys would put more in somewhere on the property. So sad not to play up there anymore now that they’re gone.

My family mostly enjoyed our stay! Lots to do and very enjoyable from an activities aspect. The air-conditioned rustic cabins are very comfortable. The most disappointing aspect was the cleanliness of the restrooms (they were always wet and unsanitary). There was no soap in the bathroom for the duration of our stay due to broken dispensers. I would only stay in an RV or lodge if I went again.

Our stay was great! But we encountered a situation at the pool on Saturday. I can not believe how your employees treated an Indian family. One staff member older man w/ beard. Made this entire family get out of the pool because they had shirts on. That is their culture, they must wear clothes. Your employees targeted this family, embarrassed them, and most importantly that is discrimination!

Hands down thee worst KOA I've stayed at. Check in process was dumb. No escort to clamp site. The map they gave me detailed the wrong route to my site. Wifi didn't work. Kids driving golf cart not knowing rules of the road. The whole place seemed to be in chaos compared to other KOAs. Had I read other reviews. I would have never camped here. I won't be back.

Thank you for the great experience overall. However, the restrooms were poorly maintained, and a staff member near TV6 pool was rude when asking us to leave due to wearing cotton T-shirts. There were no visible signs about swimwear rules. A more respectful and professional approach would have been appreciated.

Very well kept. Friendly staff. Rules were enforced appropriately. Only suggestion would be training for some of the teenage helpers. Some of the activity personnel were more interested in sitting on the golf cart than helping the kids during the week. The weekend seemed better.

We love the campground. We usually RV camp but went for a rustic cabin this time. The cabin floors were absolutely filthy. We didn't expect Hilton level cleanliness but it appeared as those the floors haven't been at least mopped down at all recently. If we do a rustic cabin again we will be bringing a wet mop to clean up though I hope we don't have to use it. Otherwise we were happy.

Everything was wonderful, I only wish there were more parking spots inside the grounds for visitors, or else a regular shuttle from visitor parking to the back of the campground would be nice.

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
