Lots of marijuana smoking going on throughout the day and night by our cabin. Not a good environment to be staying at with small children.

This visit when we got your cabin it was filthy, floor had not been swept at all, actually looks as though no one had touched that cabin in a while. I had to begin our stay by deep cleaning, there were so many cobwebs inside and on our patio that it was gross!!!!

Always love staying here. So much for the kids to do and stay busy outdoors. We had a fabulous time in spite of the rain. My only complaint is the cabin we arrived at was dirty. After calling the office they did come in a timely manner and clean the stickyness off the porch but never touched the inside. After they left I swept again and found an iphone. Which I returned to the back office.

The stay was good except for seeing the bugs then I had to pack up and leave. I did speak with 2 ppl from KOA and they were very friendly, respectful and helpful. They have refunded me for that night. I will be back but hopefully they will get someone to come in and do a deep cleaning for the cabins. It’s a beautiful location to visit so please invest in getting the cobwebs out too. I’ll see y

The campground and sites were nice. The rules for all campers to enjoy their stay were not enforced tho and ruined the experience for us and our friends. We could smell weed the whole time. The campers next to us played music that had explicit language and cursed. Both matters were said to be rules that would get you kicked out but they stayed the entire time. They also had a taser and fireworks.

This is my second visit and both stays was wonderful only concern was I found a blue pill resting alone side of the trimming at the bathroom door. Your site is our camping choice myself and my family The Early's and The Robinson's appreciate your service.

Campground is nice. Used to be so much nicer 30 years ago. Hate that you guys added sites in between sites to get more people. Overcrowded. People driving around golf carts at 11 pm with headlights that blind you while coming towards your site. Loud music playing from a large group until 1 am Friday night heard from 15 sites away.

Loud neighbors every night- called to complain one of the nights and they did nothing about it. Campsite was filthy dirty- lots of garbage all around and beer caps and pieces of plastic. Picnic table was covered in chalk pieces and garbage. We will not stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. I love the fact that this year they have the weather insurance. I do suggest that they clean the cobwebs off the ceiling and beds in the cabins when cleaning and have a supervisor check the bathrooms after they are supposed to be cleaned and maybe clean them more often.

The campground is nice but our stay wasn’t as nice. The site was all backwards, the people around us were rude loud kept us up all hours of the night with the yelling and fighting, my kids were bullied and harassed multiple times by other guests children when they were trying to play

I did like the camp site but due to it being so many people on site I feel like they should check the restrooms at least once an hour because the bathrooms and shower area was disgusting. But luckily I had brought my arm cleaning supplies. But what about the people who didn't they should take that into consideration.

You have to stand in line again every morning to get a golf cart because they make you turn in the evening. I am handicapped and walk with a cane. This is a great problem for me. Never camped anywhere before where they did not let you keep them overnight. Also. The kids were extremely disappointed to find the waterslide is not operational. They need to put that on the website.

Great stay. Ideas??? center pool area showers with motion control leave you in the dark if no one enters the building, maybe plant a lot more trees on tent sites near the center pool, add regular bikes to the livery as my child has a disability and can't do the options you have and felt left out, dog wash shown on map wasn't functional but needed. LOL add a splash pad or sprinkler for kids/dogs.

Loved the stay! First time here, so many things to do. Especially with the little ones. Only thing I disliked was the restrooms. I think the ones next to the pool should’ve had constant supervision/cleaning. They were always nasty. It got so bad, I started driving around to other restrooms to relieve myself.

It was a rainy weekend but enjoyed the stay at KOA port huron. We did tent camping. The pools, ice cream shop & hay ride was fun. But the bathrooms needs to be cleaned more often simply because they are adjacent to the pools & wet & slippery all the time. They alerted us via text message when there was high wind warnings & so on.

I didn’t get to enjoy much because some rides were closed due to technical issues and it was rainy this is my first time back in 12 years almost. I love it here!! It’s peaceful and like home away from home ���

Very disappointed that everything opens so late during the summer and on a weekend. Our kids are up at 7-8AM and everything is closed until 11am. This seems very late. Everyone is rushing to the same places and it’s busier than it needs to be because everyone is anxious to do something.

I truly believe that the owner/manager and his managers that work on site. I honestly believe that they are racist. They don’t like African-American. I see them speaking to the Caucasian. He won’t speak to african American. But he will speak to other races. The owner doesn’t know how to talk to people he’s rude, &disrespectful. Too many rowdy, disrespectful, rude African-American, Black people. They have no respect for others that enjoy the quiet peaceful camping. The park overall was very clean when we came in on Thursday. But once everybody crowded in on Friday, we found numerous chicken bones at the bathroom showers they left dirty and we had to listen to nasty talking rap music. We will never be back.

We came for my son's 6th birthday and had a blast There was so much to do, we got the last cabin and it was perfect for our family of six, the staff was pleasant, the grounds were clean, check in and out was a smooth process, we appreciate the quiet hours we will ABSOLUTELY be back soon!!!

This place is feral. If you’re looking for peace, family bonding time, or even just basic respect for personal space—look elsewhere. I would love to give you 5 stars but there are just a couple of issues. The mosquitoes are awful and recommend that you spray. You need to have some kind of rule for the electric scooters, kids are going way to fast and I had one run into me while I was out just walking. Thank you except for those issues we loved the stay.

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was filthy. There was feces on the bathroom floor, kitchen cabinets had food down the fronts and old food on the floors. We spent an hour and a half cleaning. Half the blinds were broken and couldn’t be closed and the bed was awful. We’ve stayed here a few times but each time is worse. It’s really gone down hill. Also, they can’t control the pot smoking. The deluxe cabin 313 was great! Our only comment is there were a lot of wasps flying around so you may want to check for a nest.

Our stay was nice. However, the lodge cleanliness left much to be desired. The walls were covered in cobwebs, there were two hairballs left in the cabin from previous guests and the grill was filthy.

The grounds are littered. The cabins have not been moped in a long time. First night there my bare feet were black. The stove top is filthy. The no smoking marijuana is not enforced. You have the potential to have a beautiful campground and are missing the mark. Just keeping things clean would go a long way.

Cabin was filthy; dirt on the floor, the mirror in bathroom and toilet were not clean, sheets in full bed felt grainy, like they were full of sandThe campground was nice and quiet, following July 4th weekend and it is nice that the office delivers firewood to the sites.

Wonderful campground so huge you feel like you’re in the middle of a huge woods and so close to home. There is so much to do for families and adults. Beautifully landscaped and very clean.

Their online statement said that they had WiFi, the brochure says different. Employees are not friendly, they drive around but not a one could wave or say hello. That shows me that management doesn’t understand what hospitality means. Had no internet service, had to use my hotspot on my phone. Will not return and discourage anyone from going there. They need to remember why they are there!!!

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
