I camp every year July 19-21 and random times throughout the year. And this site just keeps getting better. I love the new rules that were implemented the change is appreciated

Train was broken out entire stay. Amusement park very overpriced. Even with discount tickets steep price for families that want to do various activities. Pool was also closed several times throughout our stay. Rec staff were friendly and patient. My son enjoyed the crafts and activities. Tractor drivers were fun. Enjoyed the pedal bikes and mining station as well Western Town

So much to do for family’s to do. Staff very positive and everything is done very well. Nice clean resort.

Sites are large & clean. Bathrooms clean & modern. The two pools a real plus, except they are always soooo cold. I thought they were heated? Being next to the Saw Mill is so much fun, using the race track & put put golf. Staff very friendly & professional for college aged kids. I already have reservations for next year!

I recommend cleaning the bathrooms and showers more often, some of the people there are just animals and things get very dirty. Also my AC got as loud as a freight train Saturday night, I don't expect someone to fix it at 1am but it made for a sleepless night.

Always such a great stay. Staff is very friendly and the park is kept very clean. We have been coming for 16 years and gets better everytime.

Very noisy. Still people noisy at 3am. We didn’t want to unhook the trailer since we were leaving early the next morning. So we needed to register when we pulled in but they wouldn’t let us because it was a Friday and busy. Said we had to come back. After 2 phone calls they finally sent someone in a golf cart to pick up my husband so he could register us. Told me to walk up I use a cane.

Have camped here many years. We'll kept overall, however the womens bathroom by the back pool was not very clean, it had an unpleasant odor, like sewer gas. I imagine it is hard to keep clean on busy weekends but feel this may have been the worst I've seen. I'm sure KOA can improve it's upkeep.

Way too many people. We’ve stayed a few times and this is the first time we’ve seen so many people in tents in the RV sites. Very rowdy groups and kids flying around in scooters and bikes cutting through sites.

The staff was absolutely incredible and very accommodating. However, the park was so jam-packed with other campers that it was very hard to enjoy yourself because you were unable to walk more than a few feet before running into somebody else, we will be visiting another KOA as we absolutely love KOA but this KOA has just gotten too busy over the past few years.

The rating I gave does not affect the staff. Staff was very nice and very helpful. The staff deserve great rewards, five out of five stars. The rating is for the park, the people in the park are horrible, the association needs to get more security on the park. Those that don’t get along and cause problems need to be asked to leave.We had a second reservation in a few weeks, that we canceled.

It is one of the best KOA's we have stayed at! Loved the western town and train ride! So much to do there! We will be back!

It was our first time staying at a KOA resort and we were very impressed by how well it was run. The campground was always well kept. The communication was always prompt. The staff was easy to deal with and very helpful too. The resort is in perfect location with only being 2 minutes away from groceries, hardware, fuel and restaurants. Only disappointment was that the train was not working.

Campground was fun and had lots to do. The cabin we stayed in had everything you need. However, the cleanliness of the cabin wasn’t great. There was gum on the floor in two spots, candy wrappers on the bunks and window sills. We found a water bottle from the previous guest under a pillow. I let the campground know and they just said thanks for letting us know.

I rate a 4 because the pool bathrooms where terrible, very unclean that bathroom need to be clean atleast every 2 hour due to the fact more people uses them more then any others but grounds where clean, staff was very nice and I loved the new ice cream parlor and loved the 3rd party weather insurance

This is without a doubt one of the best and well-run of all the KOAs I have stayed at. There is a lot to do both for the kids and adults. The campground has plenty of help and things seem to run without a hitch. Hookups always work correctly and are in good condition if you're in a RV. My only criticism would be the Wi-Fi is very weak although they do provide cable TV.

We were very well taken care of. The texting system was wonderful and kept us connected. We needed assistance with a few cabin issues and they were prompt in their response making our stay very enjoyable despite those issues. We love this park and have been coming here as a tradition for almost 13 years. A recommendation would be a bit better cleaning in cabin like wiping everything down. Thanks!

My cabin street had several families that smoked marijuanna and were disrespectful the entire time. My picnic table had green moss on it and my fire pit area stayed muddy. Poor experience

Had a great stay , staff great with texting and emailing back , accommodation was great ( close to bathroom - mobility issues ) showers could be a bit cleaner but this happens, wished the train and water slides were still on , had not known or read about them closed , wished the wood wasn’t so pricey but overall a good stay and I will be back .

The outdoors of the kampground is cleaner than the lodges inside. I had an issue with the kitchen trash basketwhich I brought it to one of the managers attention. I could have went on with more of the lodge being filthy but I was to upset over the trash basket so I stopped there.

My campsite 113, 112, cabin 310, cabin was disfuctial toilet handle broke, air broke 94 degree day, queen bed broke, grill only 1/2 works. She contacted in am never received call back until that evening. Pool closed , train closed. Very disfuctial, this was our 5 year camping. You need to compensate my daughter stay. Go over and beyond expectations? More like give excuses for their poor functioning campground. Want a lodge with a toilet, bed and air? Don't stay in 310. You'll be charged top dollar for their declining amenities. Will not return here.

Kids liked the events, but train was closed. Firewood was delivered to our site. Cabin floor was filthy when we entered. Feet instantly dirty black. Food and dog bones all in the pull out couch and my kids kept brining me sparkler wires from the patio that anyone could have easily stepped on. My daughter and I were both stung by a bee on day one and again me on day 2. Bee hive under glider chair.

We come every year. Each year it gets a bit worse as far as our sites, there is always garbage all over when we arrive. Wet washcloth, papers, rubber gloves etc. this time. Very disappointing. We arrive when we are supposed to so with the money you charge, it should be cleaned thoroughly. Also, people are driving way too fast and no one around ever to tell them to slow down.

I have been a loyal customer for more than 20 years. I started coming as a child and have continued the tradition with my own children but we do not expect to be back any time soon. This is no longer a family friendly place. Guests are constantly smoking marijuana, blasting rap music and even saw someone using the restroom next to their cabin at 10am in front of our kids. Highly disappointed here.

Overall the physical campground as a whole is fine….however, when I’m visiting friends on another site and we witness a female resident walk out of their cabin and proceed to pull their pants down and use the bathroom outside is a bit absurd. The smell of pot lingers, cars don’t slow down for children, people walking through people’s campsites, etc…it makes for an unenjoyable stay

The facility is great, we enjoyed everything there was to do. But our deluxe cabin was dirty and the air conditioner barely worked and was absolutely filthy. For the price we paid, it's absurd that the cabin isn't clean with an air conditioner that's been serviced. I'll consider staying somewhere else for that price.

My youngest son and I had a fantastic time! All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and in good order. I will be back with my oldest son in a couple weeks, and hope to be back with the whole family in the future

Only negatives were about the cleanliness of the cabin. It smelled terrible. I had to get someone to come there twice to fix it and even for cabin standards wasn't the cleanest. And inconvenient to have to turn in and pick up golf cart every day.

The activities were all closed because the teens decided they wanted too. Why do they get to decide to close everything. We were there on sat it rained for about a half hour and before that half hour was up they closed all activities for the rest of the day. Didn’t even wait. And it didn’t rain again till 1030pm and it was 2pm

Way too many sites crammed into way too small a property. No directions on narrow roadways, people, bikes, golf carts, all going in whatever direction. What is the designation of a resort. No clear directions upon arrival. Weren’t advised and didn’t get card for after hours arrival until next day. Entire place seems like a money grab for those using cabins and tenters.

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
