This was our first time staying in a cabin. We usually book campsites and bring our travel trailer. The lodge we stayed in wasn’t very clean, I had to do a thorough clean before we brought any of our stuff in. When we put our garbage out in the morning sometimes it sat by the road for 8 hours before being picked up. This surprised me because the campground wasn’t very busy. Pools were nice!

We’ve been here several times. We always have a nice time but we’re a bit disappointed that several of the amenities were not available (one pool was closed one day, the other pool was closed the next day, the train was down 3 of the days). Also, something needs to be done to make sure people with dogs keep them leashed and under control. We saw more than one fight between dogs.

To many children/teenagers unsupervised through out park. Absolutely no adult supervision No adult supervision of children in the pool and no enforcement of rules

Awesome programming ideas for families, but lots of cancellations and pool closures over the course of our stay during a very hot period. Also, we would happily pay extra for our stay in order to cover the cost of lifeguards at the pools. Our bathrooms were not cleaned very frequently, and several showers had next to no water pressure. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful every day.

Love the amenities, clean spaces, paved roads, and all around a great time. WiFi didn’t work but that’s expected due to the volume of people that stay there

Stay was nice, but the cabin was really dirty. The stove top and fan were filthy and when I took a Clorox wipe to the table and sofa, it was evident that they dont get cleaned.

Charging $5 for a delivery is ridiculous. Charging $10 for a 5 minute exchange of kids at the campsite is absurd. Pools closed every other day. I understand who camps there can’t be controlled, but fights breaking out with policed called, no thank you. Appreciated the activities for the kids, but the attitudes of some staff members were not.

Cabins were very dirty. Cobwebs everywhere, bugs and very dirty floor. Sheets for bunk beds need to be fitted sheets. The pools were packed and the crowd was very rowdy. The amenities were great though; banana bikes, golf cart rental, Saw mill City and the little shops.

staff that drive around the park, are disgustingly rude and will stop to yell at you regarding things including parking a vehicle to quickly unload and then move to the overflow lot as instructed. Harassing and threatening behavior from staff that are supposed to be ensuring the safety of campers. The general manager however was helpful and sympathetic to the issue and helped to correct it.

The site we were at was great. We loved the patio and the fire pit. The grill is nice, but my wife has Celiac and it's not something we can trust to be gluten free (this did not change our rating). We were advised the incorrect road upon arrival. Our Limo bike was awful and we returned in within 15 minutes wasting $20 and the other campers were not courteous of other peoples areas.

I do like the move of the ice cream shop. Last location was way to congested and dangerous. We love the convenience of this campground. Can get cabins and campers close together for the “non” campers. The charge per day to bring in your own golf cart is pretty ridiculous though. We pay enough money per cabin and per campsite to include OUR OWN golf cart.

We stayed in cabin L324 and it was so dirty. The tub walls still had filth from the previous campers, the floors need a thorough washing, the windows, basically everything needs a good overhaul cleaning. The pools were also very “unsanitary” from swimmers pee, that you can smell it from outside of the pool. Some general maintenance is required in those areas. Please review the info above.

Stay was great. Campground is always clean and lots for the kids to do. Cabin could use brighter light bulbs as it was too dark to see properly. Huge bees were digging holes all over the front of the cabin so we were unable to use porch. Would recommend closing pools from 4-5 like other campgrounds we have visited so you can clean and rebalance it so its not murky and is healthier to use all day

This is our 2nd year coming. We had a blast! I do recommend cleaning Cabins for cobwebs and vacuuming bunk beds. The floors make our feet black. Not sure if they are washed?? Also, this year the smell of marijuana riding around the park was gross. We will come Back next year and I’m hoping more rules are in place. Otherwise we will have to find somewhere else.

This is a nice, well kept campground. However the way things are ran aren’t like most other campgrounds. Amenities all close by 8 PM (including the pool). My biggest complaint is if you rent a golf cart, you have to return it by 8 PM and can’t pick it up until 10am the following day. The carts go Extremely slow (we were easily getting passed by kids on bikes).

Beautiful campground but very disappointed with the golf cart process. Never stayed at a camp ground where the carts had to be checked back in at 8pm. Long walk back to check in and check out every day. with a disability makes that very frustrating. Campground got very congested in the streets in the evening because everything shuts down at 8pm and people have nothing to do.

We love coming to your location. It is fun. We always come on same weekend every summer. Kiddos wanted me to let you know they would like a different theme instead of dinosaurs every time we are at your location.

The pools were insanely crowded and the kids on giant tubes were pushing small kids under water with them. Per the rules kids were to be supervised at all times however there were no other parents with their kids at the park and we left due to them throwing sand at other kids. Couldn't finish the scavenger hunt due golf carts repeatedly almost running us over while on our bikes. Pros: clean park.

It was our first stay at this campground. Overall everything was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a rustic cabin in order to spend time with family who were traveling through in an RV. The only negative was the air conditioner was not on when we arrived. Temps were very high so it took about 8 hours to cool down the cabin.

The staff was incredibly rude. Went to sawmill city and we paid for the go carts that we had to purchase tickets for to get in line and saw the staff letting kids do push ups and let them on for free and when we questioned them they started yelling at us mg daughter is 21 years old we have been coming since she was ) and we won’t be retiring the golf carts went from 75 to 109 since last year.

Fire pit on 205 is way way to close to site 206, we were extremely uncomfortable all weekend!! It’s an accident waiting to happen����. The trailer that hauls garbage in the dark needs lights of some sort….a kid is going to drive their bike in the back end or a vehicle is going to hit it. Not safe for your employees !! Pool was great! Loved seeing employees driving around just watching

I called to book cabins told them I needed 2 together, by bathroom with fridge and microwave . They did not have fridge or microwave. Air was not working in one cabin. He brought portable air. Hooked it up said give it a couple hours. Had to call him back because still hot. He did not open windows for vent. Came back fixed it . Had to wait longer again for semi cool.

I’ve been coming here as a kid and now with my own family for over 20 years. This experience however has left a sour taste in my mouth. While the staff was friendly, the cleanliness of our cabin and other facilities was atrocious!! Graffiti in the cabin is unacceptable. Neighbors that treat the campground as a block party after hours makes me feel I don’t ever need to return to this “resort

Only thing I would change is the deluxe cabin floors need to be mopped a bit better They were covered in dirt when I cleaned up a spill with paper towel and our feet turned black if we chose to walk barefoot in the cabin

Lovely Park with MANY amenities especially suited to families with children as there are so many activities for children. Sites are large and level. Roads are a bit narrow. Park has many sites to suit all flavors of campers. We had a patio site which came with a propane BBQ grill, fire pit and picnic table. Park is very clean.

Our cabin wasn’t tidy at all when we arrived. There was garbage left in the fire pit, behind the refrigerator, and under the bed, left by the previous guest. When the front desk was called they only sent someone to clean the fire pit. No other accommodations were offered. Also, when did they start allowing scooters to be used? Because we were told not to bring ours again. Google revie

Check in was frustrating because a walkie talkie that was on the back counter was on and someone was talking thru it and the front desk had the walkie talkie turned up sooo loud that I could not hear what the front desk person was saying to me. Also - the showers were dirty. Trash on the floor. The site enough. More expensive than others but there are not many options in Port Huron.

My family has been coming to this KOA since I was born. Bathroom and shower facilities are always nicely maintained, food is pretty good and decently priced, I've never had an issue with any employees, and they always have something for the kids to do weather permitting. The reason I give 4-stars is because I wish they had more to do if it is raining such as a larger arcade and/or some kind of indoor park or even gym to run around. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be continuing to go yearly at least :)
