The perfect midway point on my trips between FL and NC. An oasis right next to the I95. Great walking paths for my pup (and me) to stretch my legs. And they’ve created a lovely and friendly spot to sip a glass of wine and have a pizza.

We received a very warm welcome and a very warm Kabin as well. Thank you for that! The facilities are impeccable and the atmosphere divine. It was so fun having draft beer, fancy coffee and delicious pizza available right in the campground office/cafe. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Our go to place when traveling south, always clean and well maintained. We use the cabins and rv sites and have never been disappointed. We have stayed here several times and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Checked in after dark and they were able to escort us right to our cabin.

The lodge was clean and quiet and the amenities were fantastic. The staff was the best part of the stay. They were all very friendly and willing to help. They treated us like family.

I absolutely love staying at the Yemassee KOA when my son and I go deer hunting on the coast. My only criticism is I HATE short round toilets. I wish they would change them to tall elongated ones. The cabins are always clean and inviting. We will be back

I only stayed one night as I was traveling south with my dogs. What a wonderful stay after a day of driving. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It faced a quiet grassy area, with woods. To make it all better, there was wine and chicken wings available!!!!! They also had pizza on the menu, and even beer I think. When you are too tired to go find food, this is a welcome thing to offer.

We enjoyed one of the Deluxe Cabins to recover from a long flight. Next to being most comfortable the Cabin was equipped with lovely details and welcome gifts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You do hear traffic, but look in the woods and it is a good spot to visit the surrounding cities and coast.

We have stayed in the sweet, private Frampton cabin before and will certainly stay again! The comfy bed, the great screened back porch, the great little lake walk and forest campground, the well equipped kitchenette and the lovely folks at this KOA make it a must stay.

We had a cabin located near the rear of the campground, it faced towards the tree line and was equipped with a small patio with a gas fireplace and a gas grill plus the cabin had a nice swing on the porch, very nice Pizza and wings delivered from the office we’re good

The staff was very friendly, as well as helpful. The lodge was extremely clean and ready when we arrived. We arrived very late but all the information we needed was exactly where we were told it would be. This was our first experience staying at a KOA, and the only thing to say is it is highly recommended.35

The accommodations, the staff, the whole is experience is 5 stars. This was our 4th trip there, and we reserved our 5th on the way out the door. Can't wait to get back! Deena make great coffee! Donna is amazing with the kids. Pat was so helpful. All around great experience!

My husband and I stay in their cabins on a regular basis. We love it here because every staff member goes out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay here outstanding. It is obvious the staff is treated top notch by upper management/owners. It shows. Always plenty staff on duty and they’re not stressed out like some other KOA’s we visited where they have no time for you. Keep it up!!

As always, the staff are all so very professional, courteous and helpful and the K1 Lodge is just perfect for us and our dog. We also very much appreciate the "Free Pizza!" :)

Very friendly staff and efficient check in. Nice nature trails and dog park. Easy to find. A mile or so off of I 95 and was quiet. Rustic cabin was clean and comfortable.

The staff was great! Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and just as we expected. Campground is well maintained and including office, restrooms, and grounds. We did not have the opportunity to use the pool or any of the other amenities, that we were made aware of but I am sure they are equally as well maintained. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Amazing: location, staff, cleanliness, activities! I make it a point to arrive as early as possible going north or south so that I can enjoy several hours of outdoor time: hike around the large pond; walk among the park itself to enjoy the incredibly beautiful landscaping and foliage; and then relax poolside. The draft beer, wine, food inside make chatting with fellow travelers all the better.

The bed bugs in the cabin completely ruined the vacation! Stay was refunded but no compensation for the bed linens, blankets, pillows , backpack among other things that had to be disposed of !

We take this issue 100% serious. This is something we respond to immediately when we see it. We offered to throw everything in the dryer and wash it as it destroys all. This is the first I've heard of additional compensation. The cabin is locked down and treatment aligned. Jennifer ~

Enjoyed our cabin, the Hunt Bros Pizza and Charleston amber ale! All personnel were very pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the safe and welcoming atmosphere of the campground. The negatives had to do with the extreme heat. Pool water was hot and it was too warm for campfires!!

Friendly staff. Great location convenient to I-95. Clean campground and bathhouses. We loved the convenience of the cabin. Would have liked a regular size toilet in the cabin due to husband’s hip problems. Shorter toilet is challenging for older people. Also water in the cabin smelt marshy. Overall great stay, great experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Point South/I-95/Yemassee KOA. The staff was very friendly. They have a nice bar/lounge, big playground and a very nice dog park with short walking trail. The bathrooms were very clean.

A gem of a KOA, possibly the best one we have been to (and we've been to many). Lovely park and well maintained sites. Great, clean facilities and lovely coffee/wine/beer bar - maybe a few outside tables so those with pups can sit and imbibe).. good location although in a bit of a food/liquor desert but we got by! It was fun to watch the daily cycle of caterpillar life on some of the trees. Loved meeting some fellow Airstreamers but all the people staying here were really nice - no political flags on display which was a pleasant change. Definitely will return when in these parts of the US again. Stayed for 3 nights. Should have stayed more.

They have a bar and pizza menu in the campground store. The on tap amber ale is excellent! The staff is friendly and helpful. This is our favorite KOA!
