2 years in a row I have managed to mess up by reservations. The staff has helped me both times and made my stay worth it.

Over all a nice KOA. I stayed in the new section next to the Ausable River. Gravel sites but would have been so much better if they had been concrete site; I know, big difference in construction costs, I get it. What I don’t understand is why they don’t put vacant/in use dead bolts on the restroom doors. Also, the shower heads were located way too low. I pity the tall person taking a showe

The staff that greet you were wonderful. The mountainside areas are absolutely magnificent. Would have preferred separate shower and toilet.And ventilation for bathroom!

Great campground. Clean and shady. Good water pressure and WiFi. Great location close to Lake Placid and across the street from a nice beach area.

Friendly staff. New utility hook-ups. Well kept. Large sites. No trees.Fairly level sites. New, very clean private individual showers/restrooms. In Wilmington. Near groceries and restaurants. Pretty views. Cost a bit high. Near hiking. Near attractions. Friendly people in Wilmington. Good place to stay.

The bathrooms were nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were clean and well maintained. Our site was nice and shady.

We loved the peace and tranquility of the campground especially sitting by the river reading or enjoying a campfire.

We were all tin cans in an open wide sun field. No trees!!! Baked if you sat outside at all. Not very happy at ALL!!! You won't be seeing us on the river side EVER again.

Very nice campground. Great amenities like the hammocks and gas fire pits on the river. Super clean and very nice restrooms/showers.

We stayed in the new section of the park. The bathrooms and showers were awesome, well maintained and kept clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great spot!

Absolutely wonderful KOA. If there was one downside, it’s the streetlights throughout the grounds. Camping should be dark outside for fires and star gazing. Time them to come on later if possible. Otherwise ��������������������

A pool would be a nice addition to this koa. My experience in camping is that there aren’t to many campgrounds that charge $135/day that do not have a pool. Otherwise the riverside was nice. The staff was very accommodating.

The campground was very well.maintained and staff were very friendly. Our site was a large puul through and mixture of trees, but a little sun. Good laundry facilities. We loved the Mountainside feel. It was so convenient to Whiteface Mountain. A bit of a drive into Lake Placid, but nice to be away from all of the touristy things. We enjoyed the Adirondack Rail Trail out of Lake Placid.

Loved our stay. Our firepit was at a very dangerous location. We could not use it because of where it was on the concrete. Awning was directly above it and we did trip on it a couple of times. We really did love our stay though!!!

My family stayed on Mountainside in one of the nice large back in sites. Everything was perfect. Clean sites. Very friendly staff. They upgraded their wifi and it works way better. Good wifi makes plannng adventures easier, and the kiddos could take a break from the heat and stream a video. This is now going to be an annual vacation spot for us. So beautiful!!!

Great location and wonderful campground. The "mountain side" sites are in the woods and beautiful. The "river side" sites are brand new and look great. Either area has great shower rooms, clean and well-lit.

There is no laundry on riverside - have to drive to the other site. There is no air, the dryers are not vented properly, so even on a mild day, it feels like a sauna in there. Then, the electrical is not sufficient, so the breaker trips repeatedly. It took hours of sweating to get laundry done and you had to sit and watch to know when the breaker trips. Bathrooms are HOT also, no air movement.

We stayed at Riverside, it is under construction very few amenities for the children and the roads were gravel making it very dangerous for the kids to ride their bikes. Pricey for what was provided . Rate should be discounted until completed

Water issues were discovered the week we were there. No hot shower for 3 days.Water hook-up intermittent. Bathroom facilities closed periodically for 3 days due to water issue. Patiently waited a week for customer service to work with us on the price of the site for lack of amenities. Very disappointed with poor cusomer service and lack of accountability or compensation that KOA's are noted for.

Great views of mountains to the west, the Ausable river on east side of campground with gas fire pits and Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the river views. This place is awesome. Staff was very friendly and always available if you needed anything and kept grounds and bathroom/shower rooms neat and clean. Lack of shade can make it hot on summer day. But there is ice cream right next door to KOA.

This wasn’t our favorite KOA stay. We stayed riverside and I was expecting more amenities like laundry (not driving it to the other KOA) most showers weren’t working, no hot water but hot in the room with no air. Water was shut off our first day for the entire morning. It was like staying in a field with no trees or shade. Arrived at store at 6:04 for ice and they sent us to Mobil down the roa

Lack of trees, I realize it’s a new area, but trees are greatly missed. Also not having a pool when it’s in the 90’s. Again, I realize it’s a new area and everything takes time.

New campground with a few kinks to be worked out. Got shower at bathhouse and had very low water pressure, a trickle after all soaped up and could not rinse well. Water went from hot to cold too! No trees in the campsite areas, you’re out in the direct sun

We enjoyed our stay, it’s a great location. My only complaint is the ‘train’ used to give rides to the kids is driven WAY too fast. The speed was totally inappropriate for kids.

My stay was just what I needed, quiet and relaxing! The staff could not be any more accommodating. I consider Wilmington my home away from home, so it is nice to see so many other people enjoying it. See you soon! Roll Tide!

Nice place but a little pricy for the surroundings. Unfortunately - they had water issues but they worked hard to fix the issues and make it as painless as possible for their guests - which was nice. The sites were right next to each other with no privacy but given the layout of the property the design was probably the most feasible to fit the number of sites that they needed. Staff was good.

This is a good place to bunker down for the night. I rented the single room cabin. The room had a mini fridge and three beds. Furthermore, there was a nice space heater that really warmed up the room. Each cabin has a parking space in front of the building. Overall, it's a great place to rest for the night especially if you're trying to get an early start on hikes nearby.

My husband and I had a very good experience at this campground. Staff was friendly and campground was super clean and very well maintained.
