I have been charged a $250 cleaning feel claiming the cabin I rented for the night smells like marijuana. I do not smoke marijuana or cigarettes and feel I have been scammed. I have stayed at multiple KOA's in the past. This is unacceptable and the general manager states he did not smell it himself. Furthermore, the general manager gave hypothetical scenarios of the smell could have came inside.

It was a very nice stay. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was clean and very comfortable. The campground was quiet. We used it as our base and did trips around the area.

We rented 3 rooms at the motel For our family to visit the area attractions. The motel was very nice and very convenient to the lake placid area and all it has to offer.We enjoyed all setting around the fire pit at night and the beautiful view of the mountains and the color change of the trees right across the street. We would all highly recommend staying there and look forward to our next visit

Everything was awesome except the foolish 28 dollar extra fee for your pup on a 100 dollar room. That math just does not work. Being a dog lover and most of everyone I know also loves and travels with there pups I would have to give ya big thumbs down on that point only. Every thing else great but that one charge left sour taste in my mouth all trip.

We stayed in the motel this time as we couldn't bring our camper and it was very nice, only suggestion is to put in refrigerator with a freezer so I can refreeze my ice packs. We will be back. Thanks

The place is clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to keep the game room open a little later and offer a larger time frame for some of the activities in the fall..

Campgrounds were very nice and clean. Only complaint is that staff is too quick to think that someone checked out when they didn't. Returned from a hike to find no power in my cabin and all of my fire wood taken. Forcing me to pack in the dark and not be able to take my firewood to my next destination.

This is now at a new location which is not stated anywhere on the website. There is no pool, or direct access to the flume trails. Bathrooms are clean and updated, however there is only one for the entire grounds and it is far away. Only one outlet in the cabin which is not stated online, and the plug for the tv wouldn’t even reach it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Enjoy coming up to the whiteface mountain area at least once a year, but in all honesty I miss the old KOA up the road. The new location is OK, but can't say better

We stayed at CC 13 and it was great. The only thing I have to say about the KOA is their surcharge of $25 for a specific cabin. I find out we should be able to choose which one we want if it is available without that surcharge aside from that, the staff was amazing, and the area is gorgeous. Keep up the good work guys.

The staff was amazing! So kind and helpful. Our cabin was perfectly clean. The location was perfect for all the activities we did. The only thing that could have been better was more bathrooms.

Our stay was very pleasant in spite of the rain. We were there celabrating a family reunion. The staff was very accomadating. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

I was a little nervous about staying at the motel part of the campground because I’ve had some bad experiences with motels in my travels through out the years. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this wasn’t one of those “sketchy “ motels. The place is well kept and clean. And..Lana, the general manager and staff are all top notch in my book. Thanks again.

First, we have stayed at this property for over twelve years and are very familiar with the facility. What made this place so special was the privacy and peacefulness and the facility's cleanliness. Our stay this past weekend was loud, the cabin was dirty, and the bathrooms were disgusting. The restrooms were not cleaned until Sunday afternoon after we complained. The stay was very disappointing!!

Not a lot of activities compared to other koa. No water slide, no pool, no basketball, no mini golf, no playground, no karts…. but charged the same. One cool thing they did have was the train but we were told they didn’t have staff to run it. Still though we had fun.

Cabin was great and clean. The only complaint i would have is that our cabin had the dump station and fill station right behind us and the public toilet/showers right across therefore there was always ppl around and the spot lights on at all times. Staff were very good, ine day we had a problem with our toilet handle and they fixed it right away. We will be back for sure!

Very clean and well-run KOA. Well laid out with beautiful sites. We stayed in a camping cabin and were very happy to see a room fan and fridge upon arrival in our cabin. Well worth the 4-hour drive from Ottawa, Canada and we will be back soon. Thanks again.

Cabin was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms need more places to put stuff: hooks, shelves, etc., especially the showers! Please provide a little plastic foot stool or something. There is no pool, so not the best option with kids. And the wood is a fortune! Get your wood from one of the local roadside stands. I was able to buy twice as much wood for half the price!
