We greatly enjoyed our time at the KOA campground. We like the setting because it's near the Wilmington town beach and a only a short walk to downtown Wilmington.

The staff was super friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about their job! The bathrooms were exceptionally clean ALL DAY! Loved all the activities they had for the kids/campers on the weekends. The cabin site we stayed at was clean. Loved that we had wooded area around our outdoor space and only a tent site on the other side of our cabin. Perfect for our anxious dog's seclusion. We'll be back!

We stayed for 1 night in a deluxe cabin - everything was great. The weather put a damper on some of our activities (campfire/swimming), but that is not anything the campground could foresee or fix. I hope to come back again with my family instead of my girl scout troop!

Your staff was great very helpful and I enjoyed my stay I have stayed here before it was a KOA they had cable TV now you have internet that was supposed to be as good but the streaming w was mostly buffering it was raining when we were in our camper it was hard to watch tv

We enjoyed our stay at this site... check-in was very efficient and the sites were nice and large. There is lots of great outdoor activities in the area (hiking, swimming, exploring). We look forward to see what you do the the original location!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wit that said the facility was extremely sub par for a KOA camping spot. There were only two bathrooms working so you had to wait in a line everytime you needed to use it. The restroom/showers were extremely filthy. The cabins I stayed in were not very clean. The floors were covered in sand as soon as we opened the doors. That said I will never stay agIN!!!

First of all, we prefer rustic camping to "resorts", so take our ratings with a grain of salt. Roads need grading. Wifi works intermittantly. Both pool and bounce house that were advertised dont really exist.

We have been to both the KOA and North Pole in Wilmington over the past years and have been used to excellent service from both locations. We looked forward to our new adventure and were extremely dissatisfied. No pool, no cable TV, however there was some type of TV with no explanation of how to use it. Cold showers no matter what time of day. Campground is like a Work in Progress.

Loved the cabin! Only two complaints were the mattresses on the bunk beds need replacing and gas grill was not operating properly.

Clean, courteous, quiet, nice area to tent in. Drains well even in inclement weather. Fire pits..in ea tent location. Only complainants the driers in the laundry room are sub par... gorgeous view of Whiteface mountain a mile away...access to some hiking trails...and rivers within a few miles of camp.

This is a new campground, nice friendly staff, large sites, clean campground, nice amenities, could use paved roads and sites. Roads to sites a little rough and tight. If they improved on that they would have a gem of a campground. Close to all the attractions but not to close to have all the noise, nice shaded sites. Enjoyed our stay!

I would have a hard time recommending ADK to any friends or family on midwestern wages/budgets. We ran out of our spend budget on day 4 of 8. The entire area is way too expensive! The KOA was nice and peaceful. The pads need grading. It took me a while to level the trailer on the uneven pad when I arrived. It rained the entire time we were there so I’m sure the pads/roads need grading now.

We had a great time in the area visiting many Olympic sites, doing some hiking and enjoying the local cuisine. KOA was a solid choice for camping. The employees were friendly and hard working. they did a great job keeping up with all of the daily duties with a smile on their face. Kudos to all of the team members. Dave

The roads are full of potholes. Our premium site was so unlevel that I couldn't get level even with blocks under both the tires and the leveling jacjacks. There is a cable tv jack, but no signal which they don't tell you. We were unable to get either a T-mobile or AT&T signal and the campground wifi is poor (we were unable to stream without constant buffering).

Roads need to be improved for big rigs, especially in poor weather - lots of potholes. Wi-Fi was great!

Super bummed to get their and realize there was no pool. We also could not get a site with sewer even though there was some empty everyday. The icing on the cake for us was my kids doing the tie die shirts on the first. Ignore we got there (7/8). We let them stay in the few days per the staff direction. On Wednesday night very late I went to wash my 4 kids shirts. Thursday morning we went to g

This "new" KOA was formerly the 100 Acre Woods side of North Pole Resorts before the owners sold out and retired. Since its acquisition KOA has closed the former KOA and the old section of North Pole Resorts, filled in the pool, and dismantled the mini golf course. The one improvement was adding faster wifi now capable of streaming. Sorry, but I now consider this campground overpriced.

We thought the staff at check-in and at the few visits to the store we made were exceptionally friendly. A shout out to Aiden who was the person who picked up our trash bags. During the worst of the down pours, he went out of his way to make our 13 & 8 year old really excited. He gave them a short ride on his cart while he was making his rounds. A couple more restrooms in camp ground is needed.

Friendly staff, large campsites and water close by every site. Location was great for access to whiteface trail and lake placid

It was our first time staying at a KOA. Staff throughout the KOA was super friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were cleaned frequently which was a unique experience at a campground! We rented a small cabin which was clean and perfect for a family of four. Our kids LOVED the gem mining activity and it kept them busy for over an hour. It was a great experience and we'll be back!

After searching online, we were under the impression that this KOA had a variety of things to do there. However, we arrived to learn that there was nothing to do. There was no pool. There was only a game room that wasn’t very nice. Aside from the amenities, we were unhappy with our campsite. It was a nice shaded spot, but we couldn’t sit outside due to the very strong sewer smell.

We apologize for the bumpy roads. Upstate New York has experienced record-breaking rainfall this year and we are fighting to keep up. Paved roads are on our wishing list for the future. We hope you will check back as we continue to improve.

Bonjour,le bureau d accueil fermé dès 17:00.on est arrivés à 22:00 .nouvel emplacement du koa donc nouveau pour nous.personne pour nous guidez juste un plan du site.très peu d indication Visuelle sur le terrain.on suivait la route s en savoir si c était la bonne route,pas très rassurant avec un motorisé long de 45 pieds.beaux grands terrains intimes.pas de piscine.l ancien koa me manq

We stayed in DC35 which has a broken bedroom window (held with tape) and broken bathroom door. Very limited outdoor space for fire/eating/grilling. No staff available or directives when checking out. Not much to do on the campgrounds (no pool/game room is lacking/small footprint). Misled a bit when making reservation (still had pictures of old location). Miss old location, it was great.

Cabin 61 pour site , muddy, very wet, very small parking for my truck, furniture and grill filthy. Way overpriced compared to other KOA.

Everyone was very pleasant, but caution on taking a large Class A motorhome in. Branches need to be cut up in most spots. Also the power on one leg of the 50AMP service was only putting out 106 volts, which our surge protector would not allow to connect.

Very nice campsite with hiking trails connected to the park. Very close to Lake Placid so a lot to see and do. The WiFi was the best I've ever seen at a campsite, especially nice for those of us that work remotely. Only complaint is had some power issues with low input voltage causing some trips.

Our stay was very nice and beautiful shaded sites. A pool would be a nice addition to the campground, but other than that everything is very nice and loved that you had a dog park. Well Done!!

Pros: great location, nice bathroom facilities, good playground, friendly staff Cons: Broken glass scattered around the tent site, noisy neighbours (talking loudly at 3am!) with no enforcement of quiet hours. We are really hoping that this location will add some of the amenities from the old site, including the pool and the giant chess.

This campground is an absolute joke. We staid at the whiteface koa last year and it was amazing. We rebooked for this year and as we were approaching (after a 9 hour drive with 3 kids and 2 dogs) come to find out they moved and tore down the old grounds. No pool ( what the wife and kids look forward to the most), no adk lodge, and crappy sites. We got a refund and found much better accommodation.

Another great stay! Love this campground. Was happy that the staff gave us the same spot as we had last visit. Have four more visits this season and looking forward to them. A quiet, peaceful place to stay! Attentive staff! A great homebase for all our ADK activities. Perfect!

I must admit that I was disappointed to see the former Whiteface KOA closed and moved 2 miles away. On the negative side, the pet area here is much smaller, almost worthless. There is also no pool. On the positive side, the staff is very good, the bathrooms and grounds spotless, and the property has access to lots of hiking and biking trails. You can walk to Wilmington Town Beach which I highly recommend! Some of the fastest WIFI I've ever had in a campground. Well stocked store. Fun weekend activities for families like Choo Choo train, tie dye, and smores. They pick up your trash at your campsite, and all RV sites have shade and decent spacing. Game room and large DVD Library. Laundry has newish machines, all working, and not over priced. By the end of our stay, we all agreed this KOA did not disappoint. We would be happy to come back.

First time staying here. Second time staying at a Wilmington area KOA. This location is a new acquisition. The one around the corner we stayed at last year was closed for a reconstruction. They plan on having having 3 KOAs there soon. This one was nice and small. Bathrooms were clean. The cabin we stayed in was neat and cozy. The staff was exceptionally polite and courteous.

Amazing camping, well located (close to many hiking trails, White face mountain and cycling routes). The staff was exceptionnal, so kind and helpful. They have a night check in installation to accomodate late arrivals. The tent spots are in a cute pine forest. Many shared space and nice facilities (BBQ, hammocs, laundry, games).
