Our stay was great. The pot holes need to be filled in. Campers should go in the out exit. It would make it easier.

The biggest issue was the dog park. There was dog feces in the dog park from the day we arrived, the same pile was still there the day we left as well as additional piles. We did notify the staff however it was never picked up.

It would be great to have a pool for the kids. Plus up grade the play ground. Our stay was nice and enjoyable. The staff was great and very helpful. 5 star on them. We look forward to next year stay. Rated 4 because no pool for the kids.

The location for this KOA is amazing close to everything. Beautiful views. The Checkin and staff were great. The down side was the sewer smell. My family had two campsites and a cabin and walking and sitting by the fire you would get hit with a wave of sewer Smell… maybe something that can be fixed?!? Made relaxing outside less enjoyable.

There weren’t the typical KOA activities. There were kayaks and paddle boards but no water to put them in, no golf carts to rent, the fire pits were way too close to the driveways, no privacy and there was not any options for concrete pads. We liked the fox farm KOA way better. Hopefully that one gets reopened

Thank you for staying with us. We apologize for the confusion with the watercraft rentals. We launch them for our guests across the street on the river side of our property. The water is calm and beautiful there and you can paddle upstream and drift back down at your leisure.

This was our first time at this KOA as we have stayed multiple times at your previous location on Fox Farm RD. The site I was on was was very accommodating for my 28 foot travel trailer. The reason for the 4 was we really missed the pool and for multiple days that we were there, we experience a very strong sewer smell that occurred daily throughout the day.

I loved the cabin. My only complaint would be the huge RV with the very loud music that was across the street, but very close to us. I guess a little more space would be nice. I loved the quietness of the KOA Holiday site before the move. All in all though this wasn't bad, and we will probably be back.

We are not happy with the new location, the price is very expensive for a campsite with electric and sewer hook up with no other amenities. No snack shack at the new location no cable no swimming pool or golf. We were told the price is going to almost double next year. After so many years staying and loving the old location, i think we be in the market for a new campground in the Lake Placid area.

It’s a big act to follow the previous Lake Placid KOA site but this location is on their way! We did wish there were more activities throughout the week but I can imagine staffing is terribly tough as with most industries. No significant complaints although the playground could use updating especially since they do not have a pool.

Our deluxe cabin was located directly behind the dump station, so every time someone came to dump their camper, we were forced inside due to the pungent smell that came over our outdoor space. It definitely put a damper on our weekend. My children also missed not having a pool to swim in.

We had a wonderful family time but were unhappy with the #25 site and the long walk to the bathroom. When we camped at the old KOA there were more available away from the main camp. The other campsite was perfect for our family. Missed a pool but the weather wasn't helping. We realize you are new and building so we may come back to check the KOA out. You were very helpful with messages. Thank you.

Our family had an amazing time camping. The kids had so much fun, clean washrooms, friendly and very helpful staff. Park was really well maintained and in a great location. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed in a cabin which I enjoy. I like to have cable an up to this year there was cable......no cable this year?.........Need more washrooms and showers......was shut out many times over 4 days because of crowds using the facilities........all the rest was good...just two things

I stayed at the previous site in 2021. There were more amenities available for a small family. Our camping cabin 59 had a television that did not work (cable on exterior not connected and remote’s enter button didn’t work), the refrigerator portion of the fridge froze my meat, eggs and vegetables, but if turned down, the fridge defrosted quickly/not cold and only one electrical outlet in cabin

The major issue was the lack of bathrooms!! One of the bathrooms was closed for six out of the seven days we were there. We had to wait up to 15 minutes to use one of the two bathrooms available. Yes, we could have walked around to the front to use bigger bathroom in the front, but it made for a longer walk, especially if you walked to the closer one first. This was totally unacceptable!!

The tent sites are roomy, there is a lot of trees and shade. There was only 3 bathrooms near our campsite and each had a toilet and shower in the same stall. This is not ideal, if someone uses the shower, the toilets are unavailable for a while. They are cleaned multiple times a day. There is a beach just across the road. Overall a great camping.

The site will absolutely not pick up phone most days. (especially early in season) Due to change in plans we had to extend our reserveration by adding another separate reservation. Of course we were hoping to have a single site for entire stay, but since phone is never answered this could not be discussed. Finally got through close to visit time.... 1st site #58 huge wet spot...very rough.

Very rough roads, big pot holes so big my camper refrigerator door popped open and we were going slow. Showers and restrooms were not very clean and stalls were dark. Sites were ok but poor runoff and no gravel so rain made them quite muddy. Needs a lot of tlc and office closes at 5. They do not lead you to your site like other koas and I’m not sure it was family owned. Workers were not very hap

Missing the old location. The entire property smelled of septic during our whole stay. The playground had many unsafe items. The men’s showers were gross.

Clearly not the old whiteface Koa that was one of the best in the country. Is def not even close to that level. One complaint is that half the amenities are not available except for weekends. Like the store opens late and closes early. There’s no activities for kids or wagon rides except weekends. But yet we pay full price and get half the experience. Cabins very nice very clean, more like a hotel which I like, : did have a mouse but office put in traps and we caught him. A suggestion would be to put sliding curtain over high window in bedroom so we could open and close to keep light out in am..beautiful window. a pool would be nice to have esp for kids . . We had a nice time ,a lot to do in area

Everything there is very organized and clean & staff are fantastic. So lacking in not having a pool. I know this is all new & ongoing but that is a downfall. Driving by Fox Farm was very sad, I've been camping there 40 years! I know things are a work in progress tho. I would stay there again, also.

We enjoyed staying at your camp ground given how close it is to all the Lake Placid attractions. The site 86 was large enough to accommodate my rig and my tow vehicle. Wi-Fi speed was awesome. My two biggest complaints are the camp ground roads that have so many pot holes that it is very tough to avoid them. My other is the firewood I purchased from you was to damp or not seasoned enough to burn

We stayed in a Deluxe cabin and loved it! Only complaints were the parking was a little tight for big vehicles (sites D031 and D033). And the sewage smell was a bit over powering at times. We found ALL staff to be super friendly! The kids wished the store was open in the evenings. We would be busy all day so they often wanted to go get a snack in the evening. Coming again next year!

Nice campground, it def has potential in the future. And all of the complaints about the wifi are BS. It worked great. Super clean. Its just the change for me. I grew up in the other KOA and the North Pole. It was more sad than anything.
