Beautiful park. Went for fall colors and the park was as beautiful as it’s surroundings

The stay was great. The only thing amiss was the toaster did not work. The other issue for me personally is that they don't have cabins available in the winter.

Pretty campground. Staff was helpful. Quiet when we were there. Lots to see and do in the area. Only issue was the septic system, leaking into the road. Would go back.

Beautiful location. I wish there were a few more restrooms though. When people are showering in the morning it causes a long wait for those who need to use the restroom.

Stayed in deluxe cabin with my 2 dogs x 3 nights. Very clean. Had a nice location on the property. Very quiet and relaxing. It was a great place to get away to.

Very nice campground, level sites, nice fire pits, and plenty of activities for the entire family. We will definitely be going back.

Our first time at Lake Placid/Whiteface KOA for Indigenous People's weekend. We usually go to Littleton/Franconia KOA in NH and stay in cabins there on this weekend - we wanted to mix it up! At first the kids were disappointed to not go to the same place... but they ended up deciding this KOA is better (jump pad and game room!). We had a great time exploring the area. Delux Cabins were AMAZING!

Very accommodating, shower head and water could use some service. very light water pressure and difficult to manage the temperature. Mattress was really hard, I had a very sore back after three nights location wonderful!!!

Most of the lots were either inclined or full of roots. We are far from the old Wilmington KOA, which we loved so much. Far from it. Sadly.

Loved it! Looking forward to more hiking trails being open. The gift shops needs brighter lighting it’s very dark in there with the lights on. Makes you want to not bother going in. Apart from that some nice renovations have been made it’s great!

Nice KOA park. Good location for exploring the Whiteface mountain area and Lake Placid. We had a problem with the electrical pedestal and their staff corrected it promptly.

Beautiful campground and friendly people, easy in and out and close to attractions. we enjoyed our stay!

We keep going back to Lake Placid/ Whiteface KOA because of the location, the absolutely beautiful setting and the campsites are not crammed in to each other. Everything was clean and they also had plenty of ‘doggy stations’ available and therefor no reason not to clean up after your pet!

Enjoyed our site, large and easy to access (we had a pull through); close to Lake Placid and all points of interest). Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to all for a great stay.

Just there one night. Generally nicely maintained camp. Cable connection was stripped so did not work site 35. Could have used more gravel but it is the end of the season.

Fantastic well maintained and quiet park. Beautiful foliage in park in October 2024! We have large 5th wheel and parking in our pull in was quite easy! Terrific access to several defined and well marked fun hiking trails everywhere in the outlying area of park! This is a hidden gem campground!! We loved it Josh and Lisa were so helpful on check in too!

Bed was super lumpy and we rolled to the middle. Heat would go no higher than 67

Sites were big and good hookups. Seemed strange there were water lines and wires laying on the ground. Staff was friendly. A little pricey.

***Update 2025** The new KOA is barebones and not worth the same price of admission. The old KOA on foxfarm is undergoing renovations or is permanently closed. Which is sad because it was a special place. The new KOA is pretty much a parking lot without much trees on one side l, the other that has tents is more conventional but the place is outdated and the pool wasn't working on my last visit. Buyer beware, this place isn't the best. ** THE BELOW REVIEW IS FOR THE OLD CAMPGROUND at Fox run road which is now closed or being renovated** This is our favorite camping place. The rates are affordable for all. We have stayed here 4 years in a row. We have done the cabins, tent camping and recently glamping. Tent sites - On a sand pad, some have electricity, some don't. Bathrooms nearby are clean and have showers with warm water. Staff cleans bathrooms throughout the day. Can't ask for more! Always plenty of sites available with their own fire rings. Kids can ride their bikes to 1 of 2 playgrounds safely. Cabins - We stayed in deluxe cabins and it was awesome. They are right on a cliff above the below stream and you can hear the rushing water constantly. They have 4 bunks in most of them with a pull out couch and queen bed. Also a private bathroom that has soap provided, a kitchen and living room with table. Outside has a deck, firepit, adirondack chairs, and gas bbq grill. Perfect for family outings without having to rough it. Glamping - This is new and we did it recently 6/4/21. The tent is beautiful and has 2 rooms, one queen and one with 3 bunk beds. There is space to hang your stuff, a deck with a picnic table, a gas grill (no utensils provided, BYO), a fire ring, 4 adirondack chairs and it is close to the stream in an isolated area. There are 4 tents. GT2 >1 are very close to each other so be aware of that. The nearby bathrooms are very nice and clean with hot water and a tiny walk away. This place will deliver ice and firewood to your site if you call and request or ask at check in which is AWESOME. There is a heated pool next to the lodge which is awesome. There are 2 playgrounds, an arcade and mini golf on site. The staff are the friendliest people ever and are so nice. Highly recommend for everyone to check this place out. Veterans and Military discounts available.
