Nice clean campground with very level spots that were not too close to others. Great trees and trails, close to Lake Placid. We would stay here again.

Site 84 Fire pit was approx 8’ away from neighbors 5th wheel Site are way way to close - did not have a campfire on our site but the one next door No reason why we had to be next to them with multiple open spaces available

The cabin was great. Few repairs needed: the kitchen sink is leaking a little and the light in the kitchen hood is not working. We mentionned it at check out, but it was not written so I'm saying it here to make sure the next guest have a perfect experience.

Love this area. Campsites were clean and easily accessible. Only complaint is the ruts in the road in and out of campground.

Staff was very helpful setting was beautiful. If you’re going to the Adirondacks, this is a must stay place.

Love the new KOA, smaller but different benefits. Huge pull through sites with more room, and many private tent sites. The store needs to be open longer hours on the weekend.

A quiet park - close to Lake Placid. Was disappointed in the internet service as was told upon check in that it was strong enough for streaming. Didn't need to stream but did need to do some work... had to work off my own phone pairing which was costly as we are from Canada . Friendly staff except never offered to reimburse grandson's money when games table didn't work.

I used to really enjoy my annual family trip to the Wilmington KOA. I’m not a huge fan of the new location. The restrooms were not as convenient for the cabin area. I emailed and left a voicemail the day of my arrival for a request but at no point was it ever acknowledged. The new game room was rather disappointing compared to the old one, not to mention the electrical code violations and hazard

Despite bad weather, we had a memorable stay at this KOA campground thanks to excellent service from manager Josh. The campground has lots of amenities, including an outdoor gas fireplace, big fire pit, gazebo with mosquito net, activities for children/adults, and a clean laundry facility. The services provided by the camp crew were amazing.

Fantastic!!! We’ve stayed at the old KOa and we’re excited to stay at this one. You feel like you are in the woods and far away from civilization. It is a perfect mountain experience!

We have stayed at another KOA in the past in Wilmington NY at a previous time. That one has since closed and we became aware of this KOA. We were VERY happy that we did. From the time we checked in at the really spooky (decorated for Halloween) office, until the sad time came to depart, we loved the grounds, dog park and the wonderful dog friendly cabin that we had. We will definitely be back.

I give 5 stars because the campground was great for us. They are at a new location and there is less to do there and it is further from Lake Placid but it is still a very nice location and I know they are still working on building it up. I look forward to visiting again and seeing their progress!

Everything was very good. Our only issue was that we bought two bags of firewood for our last night and it was green and wouldn't light. We have czmped for years and never had an issue with KOA firewood so this was both disappointing and a waster of 20 bucks.

My husband and I very much enjoy this KOA VR Campground, At Lake Placid/ Whiteface Mtn. in NY. in October 2023 was our second stay. Pull through lots are wide. There are many walking trails, It was quiet, clean we will return in future,

This was my third time staying at that facility was not very happy about Wi-Fi. I prefer the old North Pole and Fox farm rd facility better. I don't think we'll be staying again until the facility has done some serious upgrades.

We’re are going to hike all 46 peaks & we have stayed at the KOA Lake Placid / Whiteface mountain 7 times now & will keep coming back!

The only thing that we did not like is all the dogs barking. You should limit the number of pets per site to one only.

Good internet connection. Nice big sites. Rough driving areas. Potholes need fixing to reduced vehicle and equipment damage.

Our Deluxe cabin with Queen/2 bunkbeds for my family of 4 was clean and new and offered everything we needed. Even a bathroom nightlight! We enjoyed the Fall leaves and crispy fresh air by the firepit. Missed the river trail location �� from when I was a kid but we ventured on a Fall hike in their woods and it was lovely. Thank you Lake Placid KOA for a relaxing, comfortable and beautiful stay.

Pros: Cabin and bathrooms were clean. Late registration easy. Cons: Difficult to navigate through camp at night. Very limited bathrooms, had to wait at times. Wish they were separate from showers. Sites are very close. Neighboring campers were walking through our site picking up fire wood.

Wonderful location, beautiful scenery, nice pull thru site. Drinking water tasted terrible even when using a filter pitcher.And you forgot to import the chipmunks from other location.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Cant wait to return next year! All the staff we encountered were super friendly. Facilities were very clean.

We loved the campground. Site was private and wooded. I do not like the parking lot feel of other campgrounds. The only issue was the wifi was unstable. Not normally a problem but there isn’t any cell service up there.

The campground was spacious and woodsy. Bathrooms were clean and they had a great camp store. I enjoyed taking walks around the grounds. The area of Lake placid is beautiful

Suck a beautiful ride up there and the Scenery is breathtaking, during winter and every other season....so peaceful and relaxing I love it
