The diamond mind was amazing. The campground was just ok. Website shows way more built than what is really up on the mountain side. We didn't even stay in the numbered sites that were on the website for what we booked (300-307). Cabin was nice but had no wifi and needed a few things.

We stayed in a cabin which was nice. However, the heater didn’t work nor did the TV. We did alert the office the next morning after we realize that and the front desk person was extremely pleasant. However, the gentleman that came to take a look at it was not. He did end up fixing the TV, which had a missing cord and ended up switching the broken heater. We now all have colds since it was in

The mine was great. Food and drink offerings were good. The issue I had was with the glamping pod/cabin. #270, I believe. The door handle was almost falling off. The privacy screen on the front door was hanging off, so no privacy. The stickers and backing were still on the bathroom window, the worse one was in the shower unit. Made the whole bathroom look very grotty. Sink was hot, shower cold.

Absolutely coming back again. Already making plans for our next visit. Staff was great. The accommodations were excellent and mining was so much fun.

Stayed overnight with my daughter, niece and sister-in-law. Enjoyed having a fire ring from which we were able to toast hot dogs and s'more. The employees at check-in were friendly and helpful. Next year we will try to get cabins next to one another. Really liked that you had a ice cream and adult beverage car.

The view and campground is beautiful the only thing that was a bummer was showers behind main office desperately need to be updated had to shower in low pressure luke warm water in chilly weather

I really like the campground, but seems to be getting worse over the years. This past weekend it seems my cabin was a bit infested with mice. I could hear them in the walls. One time while resting on to the bed one ran right up the bed. Also, the hot water for the shower did not seem to work. All this being said I'm not sure if I will stay next year. On the positive staff was amazing!!

Very disappointed for this last stay- the website started the fall fest with activities was this last weekend which I thought odd it wasn’t on Columbus weekend - I booked the night 10 days ago per the ad - upon check in they stated yes it was a mistake and others were very upset as well but nothing they could do - stating all activities are subject to change-great place poor customer service

This was such a cute and cozy campground.I loved that it had a variety of options, from tent sites to full cabins,as well as several options for food,fun activities,and it was very clean and well designed. I was very disappointed that the " astronomy lodge" cabin I chose ended up not having a telescope, as advertised .I was given a 10% refund, but would have chosen a different lodge, had I known.

I enjoyed it! Our cabin was very cute and simple, and had everything we needed. I do wish there was something in my registration email letting me know about the after hours check-in procedure as we arrived late at night and it was a bit challenging to figure out in the dark. My 5yo is already asking if we can come back next year!

Our second stay this season, we stay up at the rop in 351. When we stayed in the beginning of the season the homes were new. There is definitely a difference in just a matter of a few months. In addition, it was creepy the owner or manager kept coming up to the other house next door to us. We felt invaded as if she was keeping an eye on us. We aren't that type of family.

The bed was super soft in the glamping huts. Like sleeping on a cloud. And I loved the orientation of them facing the river. Was a wonderful view when opening the doors and relaxing out front.

I stayed in the Glamping pod with my dog and loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This glamping pod had a bed with linens, electricity, and a bathroom! The setting is beautiful.

We were there for a weekend of relaxing and knitting, not expecting too much. From the time we arrived to the time we left we had an incredible time! The staff is all super friendly, the cabin we stayed in was perfect, and we had a blast at the mine. We are planning to make this an annual trip! Thank you for exceeding our expectations.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The sofa bed was completely worn out, and my two children couldn’t sleep all night because of the springs digging into their backs. Additionally, we ran out of hot water after the first shower. The pans were so warped that they couldn’t even sit properly on the stove. For $500 a night in Canadian dollars, we are extremely disappointed.

Good stay. We enjoyed the cabin however sofa bed was a little hard and tight quarters for 5 people. View was amazing. Diamond mines were lots of fun. Loved The Garden area. Would come back with camper definitely.

The KOA is the most convenient place to stay when visiting the Diamond Mines. The cabin was very nice but the price was just outrageous. $350 for 20 hours when we were actually in it for 10 hours is just too much money. The people were great but we won’t be able to come back anytime soon.

Great stay. Can't wait to go back. The glamping cabin was worth it. Very private with a cute little porch and view to the river. There is plenty to do for fun all over the place. We got to make a tie-dye shirt that was a good time. Very cute. Staff was friendly. Food was great.

Check in was very pleasant. Cabins could have been cleaned a bit more. Appliances were very good. We were very disappointed with the activities for kids. They were either not done or ran an hour late, for kids that was not acceptable.

Clean comfortable cabin by the river just as described online. Very helpful, friendly and hard working staff members everywhere. Plenty of amenities, activities and yet quiet at night. Camp grounds were clean and attractive.

Beautiful view and fun activities. Cabin was clean and stocked with utensils. Campground is quiet. Mine staff were knowledgeable, and all staff were pleasant! Definitely will be back.

The campgrounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is super friendly! The lodge we stayed in was clean, most of our needs were met, such as, bathroom towels, linens for every bed! Dishes, flatware, pots. The skillet should be replaced, it was very old and sticks! The lodge could use more hooks in bedrooms and bathrooms. Otherwise we had a fun time with our family despite the rain!

We have been going here for years and now reluctant to come back as the price to get in the mines and slice bags are too much. The restaurant menu change and fish dinner was the worse I’ve had. Must be change in chef and no longer appealing. So sad as it used to be the best. You’ve added but also took away the affordable prices for families.

We paid to be in AAL (Astronomy) where there was no telescope (we were told it was broken the week before). Also, a square box that used to have something in it was missing a wall of glass w/remnants of the glass still in place. My niece cut her finger on it. I received your message and am really disappointed in koa. Our family has held a reunion in Herkimer for over 15 years, bringing 70-80 cousins together making countless memories. It now includes four generations.I found it necessary to cancel some reservations due to family reasons. I was told I would be charged $25 each. Customer service is the key to successful business operations, this is an extremely poor example of that skill. The amount of $25 for each reservation cancellation adds onto an already large amount of money I spend there .Koa would not miss this amount, in my financial life, it matters. It also says a lot about koa and their lack of appreciation for loyal customers

The entire experience was amazing. The cabin was clean. They provided everything needed from dishes and pans to towels and shampoo. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. The mine was a great found some great crystals. Will definitely be back!
