A really great campsite with excellent playgrounds, great pool, ride ons to hire and diamonds everywhere. We stayed in a telescope cabin and wished the telescope was setup a little better, some help with pre-setup before nightfall would have been perfect, and maybe mining included in the stay for one night but overall excellent �

The older lodges/ cabins need to be updated if you are charging the prices you are. Bathrooms need to be cleaned and painted. Also many of us had issues with hot water.

Fun, family reunion. Grandkids love it. Lodges, solar cabins, are neglected and dirty. I asked someone to clean my bathtub and i needed a new shower curtain , never showed. People at checked so nice. Nothing gets resolved. If i knew how to contact owners i would. Prices ridiculously high. More then staying at marriott, Not even close in room comparison. Sad no one acts on our complaint/concerns.

We stayed in Apple Orchard Solar Lodge. Everything was neat and tidy but the floors were filthy. My kids feet were almost black within a half hour of walking around in the lodge. There was also a mouse or mice that we could hear trying to go through our food during the night hours. Employees working there were always nice. Disappointed with earrings we had made. Glue all over diamond=no more shine

My family enjoyed the campsite. Very clean and every thing was available that you would need to have a perfect stay. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Having the diamond mind right on site was so convenient. First time eating at the Restaurant. The restaurant was a Diamond in the Ruff. The menu had something for everyone. I had the Chiefs special, Seafood Paella, order it!

Our cabin stay was a convenient location and the kids enjoyed all the extra activities. Our cabin, was very warm, 85 degrees during the day even with air. The cabin was dusty, blinds, windows, and when we opened up the pull out bed the bed had hair all over it! We opted to not use. The sponge for the sink and the soap looked like it had just been used, we opted to use our own.

We did like the cabin my only criticism would be the poor quality of the towels and no bath mat. The towels were so rough and poor quality that we ended up using our beach towels for our showers. Also no bath mat was included so we used one of the towels. Other than that the cabin was fine.

The lodge had unclean sheets with stains and no ac in the main bedroom which was main reason for booking it due to daughter with epilepsy and heat sensitivity. Not impressed for the price.

My first trip to Herkimer diamond KOA renting the Cesar cabin along with my two grandchildren and small dog. Loved the activities for the children, the swimming pool with good customer service. Cabin was very nice and comfortable. This cabin included a fenced in area for my dog. Was disappointed on arrival to find 2 large piles of dog feces in the area that I needed to clean up.

We were welcome the minute we arrived at the KOA. They made us feel like we were a part of their family. My grandchildren had fun looking for crystals in the Diamond Minds. The grandchildren also tried the sleuthing which ended up being very interesting for them. They received many gems, crystals and stones which they compared to the guide and learned about each one. We had a great time!

Wonderful staff! Wonderful activities! Cabin #18 Super cute but...No internet INSIDE cabin, Inadequate hot water = cold showers (2 guests). Refrigerator door doesn't stay closed. TV wouldn't stay connected. Window AC non-operational except to plug or unplug. Cabin sits in full sun, no shade, can't open curtains, cant enjoy deck...needs awning or porch roof.

Had such a great time. We have never stayed in a KOA before, always state parks but we will be back! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Glancing cabin clean and comfortable. Great activities for kids. Will be back for siren

Great first campground stay with my daughter. The treehouse was truly unique. The staff was friendly and helpful. The park was well maintained. The campers were friendly too. The diamond mine was a once in a lifetime adventure. Thanks for a great stay. I hope to return one day!

I reserved 2-cabins for July, (Astronomy & cabin 14) next to it. My son & his girlfriend stayed in the smaller cabin. When I made the reservation last year for cabin 14, I was ASSURED they now come with air conditioning. It DID NOT have AC & they were both miserable-to hot to sleep. It cost meover $200 for 2-nights. Definately NOT worth it!!! They suffered cuz of wrong information.......

Great stay except bathrooms were really unsanitary , no TP , plugged toilets , awful !! Dirty most of the day. Seemed like they got " cleaned " once and then never again. I dreaded using them

I brought my son for a surprise 1th birthday adventure. He has been asking to go mining for ages. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it exceeded my expectations. It was clean and came equipped with everything we could need for our stay (even coffee filters, which I forgot). There is a restaurant on site that serves delicious wood fired pizzas! Two thumbs up! We'll be back!

Had a great time! Happy to have the linens in the camping cabins, made it very comfortable. Our grandson had a ball with the activities and playground. Staff is excellent!

I stayed in one of the newer Glamp pods. The bed was very comfortable. Had enough room for all 5 us, 3 being kid under the age of 8. Bathrooms were clean and didn't look like a normal camping bathroom.

Awesome campground, staff, and location. We enjoyed it all very much! Found a pile of Herkimer diamonds, had fun chasing fireflies, and wading in the river. We didn’t bring kids with us this trip, but the children at the campground seemed to be having a great time as well. Thank you!

We stayed in DK3 for 2 nights. Such a cute cabin with all amenities. We had a great time mining, sitting around the fire, grilling and swimming. Steps away from the mine and a short walk/1 min drive to pool/playground/creek. Would just suggest that the pool be cleaned a bit more as very buggy and a lot of dirt on bottom. Other than that workers were super friendly/attentive and would suggest this!

We stayed at the Herkimer KOA as a couple with no kids over the Memorial Day weekend. This was opening weekend and it was packed- every spot, every cabin was occupied. One would think this would have been a downfall for a single couple looking for quiet glamping fun, but it wasn't. Every minute of our stay was great. We fished, floated the river, mined for diamonds, and relaxed. The campground was spotless, the bathrooms were clean, the amenities were stocked, the staff was friendly and helpful and the campers were respectful. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful hear after year. We love getting a tent spot right next to the West Canadian River. Every year they have been adding new things and updating the campground and mine accross the street. Great place to stay with the family.

Next to some wonderful mines that you can find some beautiful crystals. The solar cabins are amazing, lots to do and very family friendly. I would recommend going here at least once in your lifetime, fully worth the price and great overall experience!
