It was absolutely great!! We loved our cabin # 325 and we are hoping to make it an annual trip, with more friends to join us!! See you next summer when we could enjoy the pool and the river too!!

Had a great weekend with the hubby! Enjoyed the creek and campground. Bingo was a good time. Cabin and bathrooms were clean. Been going for 6 years, and our only complaint is the cost getting so high. In 2021 a deluxe cabin was $220/night and for 2026 they are going up to over $400/night. Other than that no complaints, girl at front desk was very helpful also. Be back next year in small cabin.

Loved our stay. Didn’t use any of the activities, but our site was very comfortable and clean. The only negative from our visit was the mattress - it seemed to slant on one side and my partner fell out of bed 3 times while sleeping, which is not a normal occurrence. It was also so soft it hurt my back/kept me awake! So the mattress was awful. We were still happy and would return.

The treehouse appears much larger on your website. It was very cramped and we were unable to get any local news. Need instructions for Roku tv.

Very well kept KOA grounds. The cabin we were in needed the drains of bathroom sink and shower unclogged. They kept filling up when used. We did ask them to come out and they did, they poured draino down the shower drain but it wasn't enough. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Very nice campground.

As always, it was a true pleasure staying at YOUR KOA in Herkimer! It is so family friendly and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. One suggestion is that you place some hooks in your cabins in the bathrooms and on one side of the entry door. This would be of great help to hand jackets, towels, etc. Other than that, it is a place we look forward to coming every Labor Day Weekend!

The burger food truck was a huge hit with our family. Best smash burger I've eaten! The campground amenities were wonderful. The pool, pedal carts and recreation activities were a hit with the grandchildren.

Had a great time. For the most part everything was well kept. Couple issues-pool is dirty, cracked concrete needs updating. Key did not work to rhe cabin. Had to walk from mining cabins to front office just to walk back and wait for someone. Shower hot water didnt work, front burner on stove didnt work. Also mining was not easy. I feel like they mine the good ones for the store.

The campground is very nice with lots of activities but the cabin we rented was very expensive and not clean. Also, the pull out sofa bed felt like springs covered in vinyl. We don’t mind rustic, but for over $350 for one night, we expect clean and comfortable accommodations.

This was our first stay at a KOA and it was perfect! The staff here were so friendly and accommodating. We had a great time finding Herkimer Diamonds in the mine, enjoyed sitting near the river and eating our ice cream from Scoops. Our cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and very convenient to the mine. The kids we saw there were enjoying all the fun activities. 10 stars!!!

The cabin was cozy, comfortable and convenient! The fact that full linens (including towels and washcloths) were provided, there was a mini fridge and that there was a swing, chairs, picnic table and sturdy fire pit with a swinging cooking grate was wonderful! Everything was clean and cared for, great activities offered, and very helpful and kind staff. 100% recommend!

It was wonderful. The cabin was great. I didn't expect full bedding and towels. That was a very pleasant surprise! And having a small fridge made a difference as well! Thank you to all staff~

We only stayed for 2 nights, however resort and accommodations were great, clean and well kept. Staff was friendly. Only thing that could have been better is if the pool was a little warmer. I realize we were their when it was a little cooler but thought the pool was heated. Other than that, highly recommend.

Always convenient and comfortable - our Pullout couch definitely needed a new mattress!!!!! The springs were coming up through and impossible to sleep on - beds comfortable and as e pe Ted but time to update the pullout mattresses for sure!

The camp grounds are very nice and well maintained. The staff was also very nice. However the price was over $200 for a teeny tiny glamping cabin that barely fit a queen bed and a shower. The mine was ok, nothing special. If the price of the cabin included admission to the mine it would have been ok. Bottom line, very pricey. There were other options and better mines for the price.

They will definitely NOT be winning the KOA award this year. We stayed in KT2 cabin. No stove working had repair man 2 times can’t fix pocket doors will not slide completely open sidewalk so uneven my daughter in law tripped and broke her arm had to call 911 to Utica hospital er. KOA knew what was going on No Concern No compassion No warning or roping off side walk after incident

We stayed in the tree house up at Herkimer. The place needs some work. The shower faucets were very loose and we were afraid they would break off. The faucet in the kitchen was a bathroom vanity. Couldn't even put a plate under it to wash it. The campground overall was very nice. For the money we spent i expected much better in that cabin. The people up there were also very rude staying there.

I understand this is a popular busy campground which can lead to a lot of wear and tear and the constant need for updates...but some attention should be placed on the visual impact these needed "updates" . Most impressive was the friendliness of the staff. And that garden area is heaven!

After coming here for years, we probably won't be back. Stayed in solar 2. Shower wasn't usable due to only scalding or ice water. Jumbo chess and checkers missing, table umbrella held together w zip ties, cabin itself falling apart. Ice and wood delivered to wrong cabin How about putting some of that resort fee you charge into maintaining the facilities? Very expensive disappointing experience.

I've been coming here for over ten years now. We have the best time ever. Only issue is the internet doesn't work so you really can't watch tv at night. Which we don't use often at all on vacation but it would be nice to be able to use it

Overall it was a great experience. Did not like the broken down pull-out couch in the medium "deluxe" cabins. And, there's barely any space between the cabins. Way too close. Enjoyed the outside fire pits, the bingo for kids and the location of the cabins right near the water. And the diamond mines were fun and exhausting. All the people were very friendly at the campground. The pool was great.

We had a wonderful time! Checked out the mines and the pool. We very much enjoyed relaxing by the fire, eating outside at the table, and using the adorable porch swing. It was all so clean and made for a great mental break for a couple nights.

Always a wonderful time here at Herkimer. I have a few suggestions. Cabins 77-78 remove the over sized kitcken chairs for more room . Add benches that go underneath the table .and please think about a bigger refrigerator for these cabins . Other than those 2 suggestions. It’s a magical place . Thanks for the memories.

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.

Absolutely amazing EVERYTHING! The treehouse has lived up to its hype fully equipped with everything you need even down to the cutest copper sinks. The place smells of cozy warm wood, and the biggest hammocks you could ever see! The whole resort was laid out beautifully, perfect walk around all attached to the amazing West Canada Creek! Everything about the mines and the finds in the gift shop were so much fun and endless. We even got engaged and the staff made sure it was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL before we left!! Gave us a moment to ring the bell and send us off with something to commemorate our journey together. I couldn't have asked for a better trip, THANK YOU HERKIMER MINES AND KOA! ❤️The nearby towns were great to pop into as well, absolutely worth the trip from little Erie, PA!!

Great campground on West Canada Creek. Lots of stuff to do, dog friendly. Sitting in the creek with lawn chairs, watching the tubers, ducks, geese go by was lots of fun
