We had a great time! The cabins are very nice and clean. We will definitely stay there again next Summer. I highly recommend this resort.

We stayed at k5 cabin and the water to take a shower in the shower house was so low the water would pretty much shut off when someone flushed the toilet. Also our camp had a hornets nest in the eves and I could barely make food for the kids til it was night time or we started a fire so it smoked them out. And last but least there was a skunk under our camp and almost got sprayed.

Herkimer diamonds was always on my rock list. It was so exciting to actually find so many! I have to also say how pleasantly surprised I was with the campground. I’d always had a sort of negative vide for KOA. I’ve wasted so many years!!! This was a Wonderful place…..the staff was great!!

It was nice, however I thought i booked a glamping pod site (4 beds, no bathroom/ktchn but had AC) and instead i got a regular cabin (with no AC). I was truly disappointed on top of having a cabin filled of flies.

Facility/staff very nice. Campground has nice sites but crowded, very little room between sites. Witness 2 campers trying park between 2 set up campers with slides. 1 was unable to open slides once in and left. He should have been able to but 1 of the already parked campers did not pull up to there patio close. #17 & 18 need help. Bad shape. Wont ever rent those again.

We stayed in KT4. The kitchen sink water only stayed hot for about a minute. That made washing a greasy pan near impossible. Also the drain was broken in the bathroom. We had to use a fork to hold it up. During a thunderstorm we took shelter under the pavillion where an employee quickly pulled up and distributed fossil eggs to the scared kids. You have wonderful folks working there! Loved it

Besides the rain on Thursday we had a great time! The cabin was clean and roomier than expected! We will definitely come back.

The mattress's in Cabin DK2 were terrible. old and lumpy! there are flood lights on the back of the cabin that lit the room all night making it difficult to sleep. The position of the "Miner's Cabins" make it difficult to enjoy the benefits of the pool, creek and other amenities other than the mines.

The mattress was in the cabin was incredibly uncomfortable. Both on the bed and the futon. I think it’s about time to get rid of spring mattresses. Outside of that the campground was excellent

We only spent one night in a cabin and it was fairly close to the bathroom, so served our purposes. This is a large KOA for rvs and has lots of activities for kids. Glad the cabins were away from the all the rvs!

The water main broke twice during our stay. And there was barely enough hot water for a couple short showers back to back in the deluxe cabin we stayed in. Wifi is just awful so you are forced to buy the high speed. Beautiful grounds,lots of amenities, Very clean, Very friendly staff. We would come back but the water was the one issue we had during our stay.

We were disappointed that the Miners table would not be open Monday or Tuesday. Wish we were told that ahead of time when we booked the reservation. Whenever I called the local phone number I always had to leave my number and get a phone call back which was 1-2 hours later. Thank goodness it was not an emergency. Refrigerator in DK 5 was noisy and the door handle was broken.

We had such a nice time at the Herkimer KOA that we booked again on our way back through the area. The camping cabins have great amenities, are comfortable and also so adorable. We floated down the creek, swam in the pool, rode the pedal cars, and sifted for herkimer diamonds. Our second stay there was even a huge fireworks show! Would definitely stay again!

Our third stay at Herkimer Diamond KOA—3 years in a row. We invited friends to come with us and stay at KT1 and KT2 as we had good times previously. This year, however, there were some issues that make us wary about next year—both ACs did not work/cool and weren’t fixed, blinds damaged in KT1 before we arrived, fixed during baby’s evening bed time (~7:30), trash throughout the KOA—less c

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Treehouse! Having the creek close by was perfect for our water loving family! We were able to fish, tube, and splash around! Staff was very attentive and quick to fix any issues that came up! Excellent customer service!

We enjoyed our time, our cabin was nice. A few wishes...more food options on site, better options for tubing (rent or borrow?) we had to buy and wont use again and air pumps did not work, check in and out times were not complementing to the hours (and prices!) for the mining. Nice activities for the kids. Friendly staff.

Enjoyed the campground & our glamping cabin. The only thing that we noticed that should be updated are the showers in regards to water pressure & unable to move shower heads. Regular cleanings during non-peak usage times. Cabin & cabin site were very clean. Enjoyed our cabin site with swing & metal picnic table. Beautiful & relaxing view of West Canada creek. Helpful & polite staff.

For some reason the reservationI made never went through and I was unable to stay with my group even though there was a cabin open for one of the nights and I had to change cabins halfway through my stay.

For some reason my reservation never went through. So I had to switch cabins halfway through my stay was separated from my friends and told there was no open cabins near them even though no one was there for at least one of the nights. And I had to go to a more expensive cabin even though some of the cheaper cabins were open.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Hilltop cabins which had mostly everything we needed. We would like to have an air conditioning unit as an option for the bedroom. We would have liked garbage to be picked up more frequently (it sat outside all weekend). We would like to have access to either the covered pavilion or another large gathering area with air conditioning.

Everything was great except that the telescope at the Astronomy Lodge doesn't really work and when mentioned at checkout the attendant said it was a known problem all summer.We loved the activities at the Pavillion, the delivery of ice and fire wood, the playgrounds, and chess and checker boards. The diamond mining is a bust for kids and expensive. We loved the pizza and wings and delivery.

The lodge was great and grounds were filled with activities. It was disappointing that we paid extra to be in the lodge with a telescope that we really didn't get to enjoy. Night one it didn't work (they did try and get it going), and night two it rained. Will still be camping again next year.

This place is a gem! We stayed at the Field and Stream cabin and this location along the creek is perfect. We enjoyed tubing down the West Canada Creek. We also enjoyed our time at the Diamond mine and found many treasures. We will be back!

We love Herkimer Diamond Mines KOA! The pool was clean, there were no mosquitos, the grounds were well maintained and the staff was friendly yet professional! We do our family reunion there yearly if we can. The cabins provide a "home away from home" and the West Canada Creek is a bonus! Best camping in the east! See you soon. � Karen B.

All went well with our stay in Solar Cabin 3, except a/c does not work well and it was incredibly hot in the cabin. They did provide fans, which was kind & necessary. Years past we used to get a large refridgerator - miss that. Annoying to shop meal by meal because you can't put enough in the fridge. While I like that it is solar, for the amount of money you pay, it should have decent a/c.

Except for the HORRIBLE heat and humidity, it was great. Of course, that wasn't your fault. This year, there were latches on the kabin doors, which allowed the door to stay closed, which was good. Usually one person got up early, so the others could have quiet. We also liked having the bedding provided. There was so much to do, and the kids really loved it.

This is a fantastic RV resort with a beautiful river backdrop, great camping store, wonderful amenities, and a really fun gem mine for us and the kids. Next time I'll make sure to get the back in site to enjoy more of the river.

We stayed at the Herkimer KOA as a couple with no kids over the Memorial Day weekend. This was opening weekend and it was packed- every spot, every cabin was occupied. One would think this would have been a downfall for a single couple looking for quiet glamping fun, but it wasn't. Every minute of our stay was great. We fished, floated the river, mined for diamonds, and relaxed. The campground was spotless, the bathrooms were clean, the amenities were stocked, the staff was friendly and helpful and the campers were respectful. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful hear after year. We love getting a tent spot right next to the West Canadian River. Every year they have been adding new things and updating the campground and mine accross the street. Great place to stay with the family.
