We love this place BUT we had very rude neighbors who partied late both nights keeping us up. There did not seem to be any enforcement of quiet time

Cute, clean campground, but very disappointed that activities that were advertised from 4:30-5:30 were spontaneously cancelled at 4:15 because “people didn’t show up” and the “artisan didn’t want to wait.”For the price of a nightly stay, an additional $55 per day (plus tool rental fees) for the 3 of us to mine seemed excessive. Should be included with the stay since there weren’t man

Heater not work. Staff responded well. There were no hooks for our jackets, adult towels, pajamas and hand towel, face wash cloth, so I bought and used temp 3M ones. The towels were cheap and small, so we bought some. Not ok for $200 + a night. Hotel accommodations for this price elsewhere are better. All else was good. Not use a fabric basket for towels as it is unsanitary. Hooks and bars

Everything about this place is 10stars!! Best experience by far!! Been traveling all over and this was our favorite trip!!! So much to do for kids, such pretty landscapes and fun things to do for kids and parents. ! Can’t wait to come back!

Helpful, friendly staff and well-kept grounds and amenities. Accommodation (cabin) was nice, and diamond mines onsite made for easy activity planning and scheduling. We generally stay in hotels, but I will be actively searching KOAs for our next excursion. The high standard has been set by Herkimer! Thanks for a great stay!

The campground was very nice. We stayed in a cabin which was very clean . We went to the cafe in the morning and the chef didn't show up so there was no breakfast. Other than that it was great

Was disappointed to find the eateries weren't open during my stay - this should have been on your website or in my reservation notification, so could plan a. Additionally, your WIFI signal was so weak that the TV couldn't connect, hence no TV or WIFI for my device. The cabins on the river really should have a screen door to take advantage of the view and the sounds of the river - IMO.

Everyone liked the campground. Our cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The heat and air worked well. The bed was comfortable and there was enough plates, pots and silverware. There was no food on site because it was only offered on the weekends. Our only problem was the bathroom door. It was broken. It was a sliding, somewhat heavy, door that was challenging to move.

Small cabins were very cute and clean. Loved the proximity to the diamond mining. Only wish they had more closet storage for your clothes and brighter lighting. I will definitely visit again!

We had so much fun staying here! We rented a pod and it was very comfortable. I had fun doing tie-die and rafting on the river. I would def stay again-probably the nicest campground we have stayed at. thank you

We were very pleased with the KOA until Saturday evening. The cabin was everything we could hope for and needed. It was a very peaceful stay, until Saturday evening. There was a wedding reception in the event tent and the DJ could be heard all over the park! It was not pleasant music! We were in cabin DK2 directly down the hill from the tent. We will not stay here again if there's an event.

The new mini homes are lovely. A beautiful view! As with all things there were a few flaws. No shampoo in dispenser, floor of shower is pitched oddly, no cleaning tools or trash bags. All in all a lovely stay.

The staff were absolutely incredible, so polite and helpful. I only rated 4 stars because the shower water never got hot, only one shower got to warm at the end of the women’s bathroom. I understand it’s the end of the season and staff was probably cut but the one staff member working both food stations (the grill and the cafe) could’ve used some help as it was busy. The beds were in poor shape, the table leg fell off. Floor was not clean when we checked in. Definitely not worth $600 for 2 nights. Staff were friendly.

This place is great but the bed were really uncomfortable and I had to sleep.in my car. The lights on the cabins are yellow and.not bright at all. Had a hard time cooking in the evening

Very comfortable cottage. However, I did not see the description for the "loft" bedroom with two twin beds. Us 70 something adults found them unusable with only 3.5 ft headroom. But, between the queen bed and futon, we were fine.

The glamp pod was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable! The fire pit was also enjoyable in the evening. We would definitely stay here again. I would truly recommend it! We had so much fun!

Herkimer Diamond KAO is a beautiful campground. Very quite and family oriented. I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I have is the mattresses in the cabins are not comfortable.

Everything was great. Only one issue with the hot water not working in the shower for one day before we left. Notified the office about issue. We ran water for over an hour taking two showers with it never warming.

This was our first experience staying at Herkimer Diamond KOA. We were very pleased with the mining, grounds and village. We were not impressed and a bit disappointed in the deluxe cabin condition. I have pictures if you are interested. We paid close to 200.00 per night and did not think we received the value for fall season on a Sunday & Monday nights. Disappointed EM

Its a beautiful place to stay . Lots for kids to do. We stayed in the rustic cabin. My only complaint is the bed is hard to get out of because the matress is lower than the side of the bed. Other than that it was a grwat weekenf.

It's always the best stay even if it is raining. My husband and I have been coming there for over 15 years. It's the best,although there was a slight problem with the bathroom. k1 to k10 bathroom ,was unable to flush toilets, there seem to be no water input to flush.

Great accommodations, great environment, fantastic staff..stayed for a three-night weekend and loved every minute of it..bring a good solid mallet, cold chisels, and buckets if you want to do good "mining"..renting a wagon is likely a good idea if you're spending a full day in..activities were fun and there's alot of dining and shopping within an easy 20-30 minutes of the campground..

We're experienced campers who were looking for a new site, and boy were we impressed! KOA's cabins are amazing! We were in Lapis Lullabies and didn't want to leave. From the cable TV, fresh linens, and fridge, then the firewood left on our doorstep. All staff were friendly and helpful. Weren't too successful at the mine, but we didn't even care we had such a great time. Can't wait to come back!

It was great. My only suggestion - don't nickle and dime people - our cabin was ready, but they still charged us $25 early check in fee. They said it is automatic for any check in before 3pm. I assume that is a KOA regulation. frustrating.

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.

Absolutely amazing EVERYTHING! The treehouse has lived up to its hype fully equipped with everything you need even down to the cutest copper sinks. The place smells of cozy warm wood, and the biggest hammocks you could ever see! The whole resort was laid out beautifully, perfect walk around all attached to the amazing West Canada Creek! Everything about the mines and the finds in the gift shop were so much fun and endless. We even got engaged and the staff made sure it was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL before we left!! Gave us a moment to ring the bell and send us off with something to commemorate our journey together. I couldn't have asked for a better trip, THANK YOU HERKIMER MINES AND KOA! ❤️The nearby towns were great to pop into as well, absolutely worth the trip from little Erie, PA!!

Great campground on West Canada Creek. Lots of stuff to do, dog friendly. Sitting in the creek with lawn chairs, watching the tubers, ducks, geese go by was lots of fun
