We loved the campground! Staff was friendly, grounds were clean and there was lots to do. We loved tubing right out of the campground.

Had a blast! Every Labor Day weekend my extended family and I go camping at a different campground. We enjoyed Herkimer so much that we actually chose to back next year instead of trying somewhere new! We're already booked and looking forward to next year's memories and experiences.

We had a bad experience. The horrible part of our stay was the conditions and cleanliness of the place. The bathrooms and showers were always extremely messy and dirty.....toilets clogged, paper towels everywhere, floor muddy....not nice. The worse part was the dump station....clogged and overflowing! can you picture it? Can you picture using it only to see your waste overflowing? Horrible!

Stay was awesome Travis the Manager was great. Only problem we had was we were supposed to get 25% discount off our homewares but for some reason the guy at the counter only haves us 15%. I only checked receipt after we left.

Been coming to the Herkimer KOA on Labor Day Weekend for 10-12 years with a bunch of friends and family. We all agree that many upgrades have occurred over the years,But Not to substantiate the random fees and price hikes that have occurred. We’ll be looking elsewhere for next years experience. We have been coming Labor Day Weekend for numerous years and we always appreciate how accommodating you guys are. I love the new Garden Area you've added - it is a great spot to hang with family of all ages. Suggestions: Garden should be a non-dog area for numerous reasons and there should be playground equipment added for younger children ages 5 and below.

Much to expensive. After paying a lot for the site most of the childrens activities were extra. The lawn needed to be mowed before we got there not when we were leaving.

We have been coming for holiday weekends for 19 years, I would say the last 5 years have been a disappointment. There were no activities, the grass was not mowed(very gross), and staff are not as friendly as they once were. the prices are outrageously high! We keep coming because of the creek only!!

We stayed in the windmill lodge. It was small for 5 adults but we made it work. The large deck and additional patio was great. It was very nice. Well kept and clean. The employees were polite and helpful. We had a great time.

We really loved our buddy site location just wish it had sewer hookup there. Dump station was an overflowing mess, not sure you could do anything to help it or not.

We stayed in the new section. All the staff was wonderful and exceptionally helpful - even when we had a sworm of wasps starting a next by our awning! The new section is already in good shape. Hoping the new section will have a dog park.

Way overpriced for everything. Our cabin was supposed to have a queen bed, it was a full, so we had to rearrange sleeping arrangements and my poor husband had a very uncomfortable 3 nights because of that. It also was supposed to come with a gas grill, so we left ours at home. It did not. So we had no way of cooking our food. TV never worked the entire time we were there. So disappointing

Love the addition of the garden area. Could use a bigger exit sign for the river tubing and a catch rope if you have a hard time getting to the exit. Site K1 has a bit of an issue with ponding right in front of the porch when it rains. Some additions of stepping stones or just better drainage would be helpful.

This was our first time camping besides in our backyard. We had such a great time, adults and kids loved it! There were so many amenities! We will be back next year.

The campground is wonderful. The grounds are kept very nice. Love the garden area with the trailers. Every employee I dealt with in the store/office were extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative I could say is the cleanliness of the bathrooms at night. For anyone, like me, using the showers after the dayshift they got dirty showers with muddy floors.

Amazing campsites, very clean campground. We just wish that the front end staff knew what a 'buddy site' was as we received opposing campsites, which were NOT buddy sites, even after much discussion about them. We had to finagle our camper in the wrong way in order to make the sites we were assigned into buddy sites. Otherwise, very happy with the experience!

We have been going to the mines now for 12 years and we used to have a camper but we sold it. So we now stay at the cabins once a year. We also come to day mine during the season because we only live a-few hours away. The staff is very helpful, friendly and really respectful. Our cabin was number 5. It was nice a few ants but it’s the season for bugs. All good �

We stayed in the treehouse. It was a very cool little cabin and nice and clean. Some things to keep in mind if you want to stay in the treehouse - it is SMALL! I would consider it a studio, not a 1 bedroom. There is zero closet or storage space except a few little spots under the sink in the bathroom and the towels are infant sized lol! Tricky for 4 people but ok for two!

We really enjoyed the outdoor area with games, fire pit gathering spots and food rvs! This is a really nice quiet location right on the creek. Tubing down the creek looked awesome!

We enjoyed this stay a lot. When we first moved into the campsite, our neighbors were super friendly and the campsite was clean. On our last night, our new neighbors in site 100 were very rude when we accidentally were using the wrong electrical outlet. This would lend to some feedback to better mark which outlet belongs to which campsite.

We stayed over night Fast check in. I think one of the neatest KOA resorts . They have a lot of cabins and the store has water snacks etc. The store was open to 8:00 wich is a plus I highly recommend this KOA

Really disappointed in the upkeep of the resort. Bathrooms were NOT cleaned once during my stay, they were gross! Unacceptable and disappointing for the cost. Been here a few times and it has gotten worse over the years. River location, mine and close to home is why we come back. There are much cleaner, better maintained campgrounds in the system. This one is on auto-pilot just to make money, sad.

You told me in May that you were keeping the play set that had been in the Garden, but it was Gone. No high speed internet available; would rather have had cable since it was reliable. TOO HIGH PER NIGHT PRICE to stay. This isn't Aruba!

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
