We’ve been coming here for over 30 years This KOA was always clean and there was always something new added to the campground. The past 2 years has been disappointing as the grounds need sprucing up, the outdoor movies should be back on by the pavilion, the tvs need better signals( ours was not working for 5 days) and we also had a large limb fall on my daughter’s camper. We stayed in the Diamond Lodge with our daughter and grandkids. We loved it. Kids loved playing in the creek and mining for diamonds. Just one quick suggestion: the kitchen needs a cookie sheet.

We wished we had more time to stay. We were on our way home from SC Hopefully we can get over there to stay longer. Employees were very polite.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The tubing and mining were a lot of fun. We have camped here several times and each time we’ve had a great experience. We were impressed with all the upgrades they’d made at the campground and mine over the years.

First time staying at a KOA Campground and what a great experience we had. We stayed right across the garden area and pool and we (including kids) loved it! The garden area was a wide open space with lots of seating areas to relax. There was also a bar and grill and the ice cream scoop shop that we all enjoyed. We can’t wait to come visit again next year!

This KOA has all the things. Activities & amenities, there is a lot going on. Has clean restrooms and welcoming staff.

The water in the pool was COLD! Disappointed that the restaurant (Miner's Table) is permanently closed. The stairs leading up to cross the road to the diamond mines needs to be updated (painted). A bee's nest at front of cabin - stung 5 times (we informed cleaning staff and front desk). Other than that, we loved it there!!! Would like to return.

I will never stay at a different camp ground again! It’s KOA was a total win for us! When traveling we will stay at a KOA over an air bnb if available within 30 miles of destinations!

We love staying here! Everyone is so kind and the place is very well kept and clean. I love the kids activities which are good for littles and older kids. Bingo and the nighttime candy hunt were our favorites, along with making dirt and the gemstone bottles. Thanks for another great trip.

The cabin was the perfect size and right in front of the creek. Would definitely go back and rent the same cabin.

It was a surprise to me that although I booked two cabins in one transaction that the cabins were not located together. Instead we were told that we would have had to pay an extra fee per cabin to be next to our family.

Stay was great. Everything was perfect, pool was great, the lazy river was full which was great. Everything and everyone was very nice and any issues were remedied right away. One thing, SL2 cabin didn't have a microwave, or a big fridge, seems like oversight with the price point.

We stay in the newer cabin and it was gorgeous view on top of the hill. The inside was beautiful and it was great to not have to bring as much as we normally do.

From the moment we arrived we were greated with Kindness and attetiveness. The grounds were incredibly manicured and the camp it self was simply beautiful. Our Creekside location was picture perfect and level!!! We will definitly be back and bringing more friends and family !!! Tubing was an amazing experience!!!

The camp was clean and had great staff. Loved the river. We were here to go to Cooperstown but will love to come back to do more fishing.

This pod was buggy, perhaps it’s time to spray? The bedspread is stained clean it or replace or use the brown side out!!

We 5 stayed in SL1 and loved it! This is a great place for families, whether in an RV, tent, or one of their many cabin/cabinette options. There's a swimming pool, playground, and creek alongside offering a bunch of things for kids to do. It's located across the street from Herkimer Diamond Mines, where you can dig for shiny treasures. We'll definitely return for a bit longer next time.

I really enjoyed the mine. It was a great time there. Staff was all super nice. Pool was average. My kids did love the slip and slide addition. I was not as impressed with the deluxe cabin. We had many issues. Which were mentioned to staff. For the price we paid. I expected a little better. But loved the location of the deluxe cabins to the mine.

I couldn't have asked for a better trip. The treehouse was even more than what it lived up to be, and everything you could needed was accommodated for around. I even got engaged at the mines and the staff made SURE it was nothing but an EXCEPTIONAL stay for us, even giving us their blessing of good luck and fortune �ϋ� Thank you so so much to everybody at the resort and mines! Clean, well groomed campground. Well staffed and everyone was friendly. Lots of stuff to do, water bouncy house, gem mining, pool, really nice volley ball court. Nice dog park too which we used with our 2 dogs. We enjoyed sitting in the creek with our lawn chairs, watching all the tubers float down the West Canada Creek. We didn't tube this time but we have. This was our 5th stay there.

Site by the creek was great. Loved the food at the garden grill. Chick in and general store Staff and fellow campers were rude. Pool was small and not very clean.

While this location took us off the major interstate. it was worth the drive. Beautiful scenic views, well managed and up-kept grounds with plenty of amenities to offer. See it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Loved the Glamping pod. Pricey- but OK. Well appointed- perhaps advise guests to turn off their cars ( or drive a little ways away ) so others may enjoy the porch without noise and exhaust fumes. Also advise guests to bring a bag that slides under the bed easily- no drawers or counters, of course. I would have loved the porch lantern but the battery was dead.

We love to come here. Very hot weekend so the pool was crazy understandably and a little gross so maybe close and clean mid day? Bathrooms by store were dirty. So maybe should be cleaned more often. Wish they had a DJ instead of Karaoke. Fireworks would be awesome in the future. Thank you for your consideration.

Me and my friend took her 9 yr old grandson here this past weekend. We stayed in a cozy cabin K16. Fresh linens provided, very clean, rustic, cute. This particular one did not have a bathroom but it was very close. Pretty, well maintained site with playground. Staff is FABULOUS and Phil gave our car a jump start as we were trying to leave with a dead battery. Outside of bathroom big sinks with Dawn soap/hot water to wash dishes. All the cabins and sites are beautiful and we had the mohawk to wade in a stone's throw! The shops are beautiful and he had fun in the mines. Not 1 piece of garbage, anywhere. I highly recommend this beautiful place, especially with a family. U can be in the thick of things or more secluded! JUST GO and see this 'GEM' of Upstate, NY!

Overall this is a great campground with excellently maintained common spaces, clean showers and bathrooms, a super fun activities schedule and friendly staff. Also its located directly across the street from the KOA Herkimer Diamond Mine, so we walked there which was convenient. We rented a glamping site for 4 which is suitable for a night or two. The only issue was the actual room was dirty ( had dust and animal hair everywhere ) the coffee maker didnt work and the towels provided were super small. I'm still giving 5 stars and still 100% recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and the sheets decent. Many of sites, including the one we rented, are facing the river. Ours had a sweet little pourch and a swinging chair for two. All that makes up for the dirty room. Cause clearly this place is awesome and I feel lucky that I got to stay here.
