All the employees at the campground were so nice everyone from the store/snack place to the housekeeping people. It was clean, comfortable. My son loved the pedal carts. We will be back before summer is over.

Campground was clean and staff friendly. However checking out on Sunday would have been nice to have the office open before or by 8 am.

We just bought this camper. It was our first trip out and we somehow managed to flood it and spend the first night without power because we didn’t know what we were doing. We finally got everything sort of figured out and had a great stay. I dreaded emptying the tanks but Alex came over and talked me through that procedure. We should have asked for help earlier! Kids loved the pool and jumping pillow. There were some kids and adults not following the rules at the pool (older kids diving or at least going in head first and adults drinking out of glass bottles), but it didn’t spoil our fun.

Wonderful place clean, welcoming and safe. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is we checked in on Monday and when we got to our spot there was a camper right next to us and the 6 or 7 spots on the other side were empty. Like I said great place but maybe space out the campers when and where possible. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

This was our first time at a KOA. Though we did not use all of the amenities and attractions, it was a great stay. Most notable-attendants/employees tending to the many chores to be done at a campground all day long. The owners obviously care about the property. The bathrooms were always clean, they must use some sort of air freshener by the dumpsters because they didn't smell. We will be back!!

The stay was great, facilities were awesome. What I don't like about KOA policy is the cancellation fee. I booked and cancelled the same day and rebooked for different dates on the same date and still got charged $10. This is a bit offensive and does not feel good.

Campground was clean. Staff was very friendly. We ordered pizza from the on site restaurant and it was very good. They even delivered to our campsite. Restaurant staff was extremely friendly

This place was absolutely wonderful ! A lot of shade trees, friendly staff, a huge water slide, and an amazing opportunity to go tubing down the river near by. Such an adventure. Totally recommend this place. And thank you to the manager who was so thoughtful to our 6 yr old awaiting the bus! She made her day… thank you!!

Great stay with our RV in space #171. We had almost 40 in our party arriving different days, both campers & renting cabins. Our guests arrived a day before us let us know previous campers left 171 & KOA personnel had also cleaned it. Therefore tried to check in early, 11:30am, was informed to come back @ 1pm! Parked RV IN ASSIGNED SPOT, hooked up h20, elec. & sewer, then after 1, checked in…..

Sites are tiny! No privacy between you and your neighbors. We were lucky to get the awning out, and there was no space for our screen tent. Water has very high pressure and would randomly spew water at the connection. The dog park was close to us and a nice place to exercise the pups. The kids loved the pool, jumping pillow, and the playground. The water slide is fun, but you have to pay extra.

Great campground for families. We did not have kids and were placed in the middle next to the bounce pillow. Very tight spot for our camper. A family with kids probably would have enjoyed this spot more.

Nice overnight but disappointed we didn’t get a guide to take us to our campsite. Got lost. Hard with trailer on back.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
