We are tipping our hats off to H2O this weekend with Under the Sea! All ages are invited to come and have a great time with our craft, games, outdoor cinema, and DJ Dancing. While you are here you can also go down our water slide, jump in our 80,000 gallon pool, or relax with a tube trip down the Namekagon River. In addition, downtown Hayward hosts its annual Musky Festival!
Santa Claus is coming to town (or at least to the Hayward KOA)! "Trim" your site with ornaments for our Site Decorating Contest, have Breakfast with Santa, or just give him a warm "hello" and tell him how good you've tried to be this year. It'll be a wonderful time filled with games for your family to enjoy!
RROOAARR!! It's the Jurassic Age! We're celebrating our fossilized friends this weekend while the Lumberjack World Championships are happening in town. So pack your camper and stomp this way before your site is gone!
NOTE: Lumberjack World Championships begin on July 19th.
Ahoy campers! Grab your eye patch and hook to explore the seas of entertainment with a scavenger hunt or sail by the field for games and a movie. Want to tone it down a bit? Have a relaxing canoe trip down the river or swing by our new seating area near the Red Pine Express!
Americans eat 18% (if not more) of the world's chocolate in a year so it's no wonder that we have two (yes, two!) chocolate weekends to satisfy our chocolate-loving campers! These weekends pack out as people line up to go down our chocolate slip n' slide or to get a chance to win our chocolate pudding eating contest ;(with no hands). It'll be a chocolatey weekend!
Attention human life forms. It's Galactic Invasion/Glow Weekend! Help the Hayward KOA glow in the dark for cosmic golf and the black light show! On Friday, bring your white t-shirts for a laser dance or swing in for fun and games at our mini carnival on Saturday. There will even be a unicycle show as well! So hop on this delightful voyage as we set our sights to the stars!
Aloha, hola, bonjour, jambo! We are celebrating the world, and our campers, this weekend with not only our regular games and activities but also with a complimentary lunch! This summer has been packed full of awesome memories that we couldn't have made without you. Come on by for a great time at the Hayward KOA!
It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's our campers! Our craft and games will be sure to bring a smile to your face as all ages show their superhuman abilities. Get your fill of summer with a dip in the pool, a trip down the river, or a lawn chair by your campfire!
Make the Hayward KOA your last "hurrah" before school is in session! October can be pretty chilly so we are bringing the fun sooner with our haunted house, spooky fun time, trick-or-treating, costume & site decorating contests. We can't pack this theme into an ordinary weekend so we've extended the activities to three days of fun! It'll be a time for great memories so book early before your site is gone!
2,500 + bicyclists start their journey right on the streets of downtown Hayward for the Chequamegon Fat Tire Race. It's a site to see for young and old alike. Here at the Hayward KOA , we do our part by providing a complimentary spaghetti dinner for bicyclist (and guests) on Friday evening for a strong and fast start, and then we provide a cleaning station for spiffing up your bike afterwards.
Schools are back in session and autumn is here to stay but don't fret as we are all smiles at the KOA! Come and have a relaxing time at the campground and enjoy the display of nature's most beautiful colors around the area. Don't forget to check out Hayward's Fall Festival and what it has to offer! Afterwards, come back to the warmth or your campfire and the whispering wind through the trees.
Enjoy the harvest time by making camp at the Hayward KOA and then driving up to Stone Lake for their Cranberry Fest! You can take tours through the cranberry fields and/or bring some back for a delicious snack at the campfire!
Apples in pies, Apples in jars, Apple to buy, Apples in cars! Bayfield is hosting their autumn time Apple Festival with delicious choices to choose from. And what's more? It's a beautiful town to enjoy the fall days!
