it is always nice to camp here. especially when you can access the ATV trails right off of the property.

First of all bathrooms were dirty. Pool was dirty. Fences falling down. No game room. Office and other store close at 5. Is t this your busy time everything should be open. No movies during the week no crafts. Hire someone. We wanted to play mini f Golf office closed. Sorry I won't be back

All the accounts ivities made this a blast for our you g children and tye pool was very enjoyable on that hot weekend. Plus there were lots of hot moms in the crowd which i enjoyed.

The campground needs to be updated real bad. Everything is so old .No arcade and waterslide are a bummer for the kids !!

Great place to stay. We were there last n a Wednesday so it was quiet. The bathroom was clean, the campsite was really good. Felt a bit packed in but we had a great time! Thursday got busy and some one peed all over the toilet in the men’s bathroom. Needs a bit more attention and cleaning. We will definitely stay here again though.

Booking was a nightmare. The cabin was clean and fit our family well, but the bathroom door wouldn’t stay open or lock. The office and restaurant closed early, so we couldn’t buy ice, firewood, rent bikes, or use the store. The pool was a good size but cold and had dirt on the bottom. Overall, an average stay. Might come back.

My family has been coming here for 30+ years. I brought my kids and 4 of their friends on a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We stayed in the deluxe cabin so the nightly rate was almost $300. When we arrived, we found out the waterslide and arcade are permanently closed, tubing is on Fridays only, ice cream shop was closed during the week. Sad to say our 30 year tradition will be coming to an end.

Tubing now only fri- sun. The slide is being torn down. Wood is $8 very small bundle. Sites were slightly unlevel and a very tight squeeze. Friendly staff. Crowded pool. Decent shower house with hot water. Wifi would not connect in camper. Wifi in our camper has worked great at other places.

The picnic tables are in terrible shape and are peeling and falling apart. The mini golf course needs serious attention and it would be nice if they had more fun obstacles. Disappointing that prices aren't reduced when there is no water slide and no arcade. We have been coming for 10+ years, and it's hard to justify the price for the declining amenities. Really hoping to see improvement next year.

Grass was not cut can tell that appearance is not cared about, stores were closed on Sunday so people couldn't buy anything, pool was dirty, campers were taking up other campsites with their extra cars so others couldn't use their fire pits, been staying there 3 years and it's gone down hill fast

We had a nice time but there are a couple of things that should be looked into that might have made it a bit better. One of the things is the grill. It was so filthy and did not work very well that we decided to use the backup we brought with us just in case. A tiny grill that is hard to cook on for 6 people. The railing on the right hand side of the steps going up is loose which was a worry.

It was really disappointing. The dog trash was not once clean. The water slide was closed for safety. The pine cone was open maybe twice for a few hours. The staff didn't seem to care about anything. The showers were gross like they needed a good cleaning. The bathrooms were clean but out of hand soap the week we were there. After this experience we are debating if its worth the drive any

Stayed one night and found the price high compared to other campgrounds in the area. The facility is showing its age and the infrastructure could really use some upgrades. Showers were not very clean during our stay. Despite the high rate, the park had many vacant sites, which was surprising. We love the KOA in Hayward. We have been coming here as a family for over 25 years. This year was the worst. The water slide was shut down, the arcade was no longer in service, the Redpine cafe was closed most of the time, no outdoor movie, forgot to pick our group up from tubing, and the cabins were dirty and run down. The workers on golf carts drove so fast and almost hit our children.

Our cabin was dirty- floors dirty, garage under the beds, counters were nasty (we had to wipe them down), cob webs. Bathrooms were really taken care of. A soap dispenser was empty for 2 days, a stall didn't have toilet paper for a day. Luck if they were cleaned once a day. They use to be cleaned at least twice a day. The Red Pine was closed a lot. I could say me. Travis step up your game.

Showers could use cleaning Lots of water in the showers where you stand and undress and dress, Lots of soil and sand in that area. Usually the KOA people make rounds to sell wood and I didn't see a one. Otherwise all went well.

It was a little disappointing this year.. The ice ream shop/pizza shop was closed. The tubing was not available for the kids and grand kids. We stayed in cabin KL5 and the shower handle broke. Luckily we were leaving the next day. We have been there each summer for the past 12 years and this was our worst experience. But I would also have to say the staff this year was very nice and courstey.

We were disappointed this trip. We come every year but this year was different. There was a guy weed whacking by our site for like 2 hours, it was a long time to listen to that. Also, the ice cream store was closed both Friday evening and Saturday. The dance parties are usually longer than an hour and the kids loved it. For as much as we pay to go it was disappointing. Also no arcade either!

We were just at KOA in Hayward Wi and we were not impressed. We have been going to that camp ground for many many years. Our cabin was dirty, the shower and toilet were never cleaned. Some of the staff was very rude. The red pine place was closed more than it was open. It for sure has gone down hill. Which is very sad cause we love that place so much. Hopefully it will turn around soon.

Seemed poorly manage and dirty. My family has stayed there for many year, but it was not the same as it use to be. The ice cream/food shack closed a few times so we couldn't access it. Staff were not as friendly and it was dirtier then it has been in the past.

sites are really close together. Pool is super clean as well as the facilities. They have a beautiful relaxation area with lots of tables and chairs. There is a honey wagon but we didn't use it so don't know about pricing.

Sites that are more in middle are too small for big 5th wheels to easily pull in/out of when coming and going due to trees and being too close to sites in front of them. Our 45ft toy hauler had to be pulled forward and backed up 2x before we just fully backed out of our site to get out of it when leaving. Luckily the site diagonally behind us was empty so we could back into when leaving.

We had a great time there. My dog got loose one morning and the staff was very helpful in rounding him up. Our stay was in conjunction with the Lumberjack weekend. We had stayed with you years ago when our kids were little. We will stay again should the opportunity arises. We noticed the water slide was a bit worse for wear. Fully operational on our last visit but a bit of an eyesore now.

We have camped here for MANY years and this year was the worst and we are not sure if we will be back. All amenities besides the jumping pad and pool where closed it was dirty, prices increased everything else decreased.

The cabin itself was great, but it was filthy. It had NOT been swept out at all before we arrived, and when I used the broom provided, I swept up dog hair and dust bunnies from underneath all the beds. It was gross. I know it was a "rustic cabin," but nothing had been cleaned for a considerable amount of time.

The Hayward KOA was different since we started coming with our children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. We were there Monday to Thursday. Red pine wasn’t open for snacks and ice cream cones, no evening Hayrides, store had limited items. Plant on deck was almost dead, grill was disgustingly old and filthy Cabin was clean- air worked great! Pool was clean.

No tubing and no water slide. All of us come to go tubing. Have been coming almost 20 years and have gone tubing every year except this year. Should have informed campers that major attractions were not an available.

I'm really disappointed in the way this once beautiful campground has deteriorated. As former workcampers there several years ago I was looking froward to going back there with family to camp. I have lots to say about it but site limits how much I can say. Cabin was filthy. Grounds not taken care of very well. Very limited office hours and no food or ice cream at the Red Pine during the week.

Too many BIG pot holes. Unlevel sites, sites WAYYYYYY to close to each other, roads mor dirt than gravel, not enough space on roads, no grass, everything is dirt and dirty, hookup locations not well planned out, not even close to a good value/overpriced, nice people in the office though.

We have been coming to the Hayward KOA for 9 years. It’s honestly disappointing to see how the campground is now. The facilities themselves are no longer maintained. Filthy cabin with mouse droppings. The pool was filthy each day with lots of hair. There was not very many people there to make that amount of hair. The arcade and water slide are no longer. No amenities during the week offered.

We were disappointed to arrive and find out many of the amenities we were used to over the years were now only offered on weekends. I hope that things turn around for the Hayward KOA, it used to be one of our favorite destinations.

Our lodge was nice, but we had to do lots of cleaning upon moving in. Later, the manager listened and made good by discounting one night's lodging fee for the problem. Swimming pool is nice, but needs more shade. Mini golf needs sprucing up. We miss the ice cream and Red Pine breakfast. We were there Sunday-Wednesday. We've been camping at the Hayward KOA since 1974.

Nothing was open or available. No water slide, no game room, front office closed at 5pm - we showed up at 6pm. No food available on site. This is not a Holiday KOA and should not be labelled as such.

Bathrooms were not clean and most stalls out of toilet paper. I saw a gentleman carrying his own toilet paper to the bathroom. Garage cans in pool area could be dumped at least 2 times a day. They are overflowing by 4 pm. Lawn needs trimming and mowing. Flower pots sat empty. Staff was kind.

Grounds are not kept up like they have been in the past. We have been coming to Hayward koa for 12 years. Pool was extremely dirty, toilets were plugged even 6 hrs after I told a employee it was plugged. Word has definitely gotten out because the campground which is normally full to capacity was empty.
