Wonderful staff at the hayward koa, we stayed 7 days and everyone was so friendly, we had a great time!

Was a lot of things for our kids to do.. was very clean and well ran… was a little busier than expected but was still enjoyable.. had a motor home in site next to us and fire pit was a little close to their vehicle so I was a little uncomfortable having a good campfire.. we did get our s’mores done so it worked!!

While we loved the campground itself, it was a clean, friendly and fun place, the location of the campground was not ideal for families with small children. We have two young toddlers and traveled with a friend with an infant. With the all day motorcycle traffic that was EXTREMELY loud, it was almost impossible for our young children to get any kind of sleep during the day and honestly until 10pm.

I always love coming down to the hayward KOA, unfortunately due to life, we didnt get to fully enjoy our weekend, it was still fun, biggest complaint would be ordering 3 bundles of firewood that wouldn't hold a burn since they were clearly still wet. Every time we'd get the fire hot enough you could hear the water sizzle However, can't wait to go back!

The staff shortage is starting to show and I understand that; however, one of the men's restrooms had a soap dispenser all weekend that had no soap. It shouldn't have been that hard to put soap it there as it was yet another busy weekend. You do not get a lot of wood for your money and I don't think it is very dry as it's hard to get a fire going with your wood.

Could not get internet because of too many campers. Should upgrade your internet and also sites were crammed in. Make 3 sites into 2 so people aren't on top of each other. I was disappointed.

I had a great stay! The campground is clean and well maintained. I do have to mention the 1 thing that was frustrating- the firewood was not dry. I used almost all my fire starting stuff on day 1, and couldn't get a fire to stay lit on day 2. We have to buy the wood there. It's from an outside source, so not really KOA's fault- but it should be mentioned to the wood supplier. Thanks!

The staff was awesome! Especially the grounds staff :) Our kids had a blast and the amenities are great! We will definitely be back for camping :)

Great! Sites were pretty packed in. We had to back out ot our site 75 as there was no way to pull forward. Kids with parents had great time with all your facilities and the bicycle event weekend festivities. Certainly a fun time for your guests.

Our family of 5 had a great time. We enjoyed the playground, pool, jump pad. The staff was super friendly. My only negative comment is regarding the cleanliness of the cabin we rented. The carpet was pretty dirty. The area next to the queen bed looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while (food particles in between the bed and bedside table). The walls in the loft were also pretty dirty...

I was disappointed with my stay with 4 teenagers Before arriving I received a message from Koa that the water slide wouldn’t be available for my August 2 night stay also the cabin I rented seemed to have water damage from the smell and soft spots on the floor Also on the 2nd day the little cafe/ icecream shop was only open part time I feel I overpaid for amenities that weren’t available Not ha

Cabin next to us had a party.I called the office at 12:30 am got recording. Called again at 01:00. Still yelling, swearing etc. How did more than ten people end up at a party in the campground? No campground quiet time enforcement at all! Almost $100.00 a night and not able to sleep.

We where their for only one nite and the KOA had a lot to offer but our neighbors at the campground had a drinking problem the staff handle it well just would of been a better experience without them

First, I booked two sites and we were placed in two sites opposite sides of the campground. We were able to be moved together. yet, the pull through sites were EXTREMELY small. We hardly had room to have a campfire or for the kids to play. Also, it was so packed and busy, we couldn't enjoy the pool, park, or bounce pad. Lots of rules about the jump pad, fenced off during rain or evenings.

Most everything was very good. The staff was very nice. It’s getting alittle over crowded for us, we had large groups with dogs walking through our camp spot.:( Our picnic table needed refinishing. And I was very disappointed with the gift shop, very sparse & all the unique items gone!!!

No guide. A nice worker took us to the site. we were 45 foot and barley fit into the site. KOA campground was clean0. When I asked the lady at the desk the next day if they would mail 2 letters for me; she told me to walk out to the highway, put letters in the mail box and put the flag up! The mail had already delivered for the day so I did not put ours in. Crazy busy traffic but I made it back.

It was a very nice campground with lots of activities for my grandkids, staff was pleasant and helpful. We hope to come again next year.

Management was unreliable and inconsistent. When we first arrived a staff member told us to park on a specific road and our car was almost towed on our last night camping. We don't appreciate being given incorrect and inconvenient information only to be condescendingly corrected on our last day there. Everything from the restaurant was undercooked. The site was also very dusty and lacked foliage

It was fantastic as always, weather was not so nice but we all did just fine. We are planning on getting the motor home site next year again and 2 of the cabins near our RV sight!

Campsite we were put in was right next to main road. No privacy and lots of dust being kicked up into our site as cars drove by. Bathrooms were dirty and showers are gross. Amenities were ok. Pool and bounce blob were fun but all other activities cost money which is a lot extra when your already paying a lot for a site. Staff was mostly friendly. A few were grumpy towards kids. Overall 2 stars.

The campground was nice but it was extremely disappointing that there was a cost for practically everything. I was not expecting that.

Wonderful campground full of fun activities for the kiddos! We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere while the kids enjoyed the game room, movies in the park, mini golf, pool, bounce pillow and playground! The water slide was open but we didn’t utilize it, there was plenty enough fun without it. KOA staff were wonderful, too!

Sites are WAY too small, no where to park your vehicle. Way too many pine trees that are way too close together. It rained and our site flooded, we had a huge lake covering our entire site. Which then turned to mud, which then gets tracked into our camper. Staff is not friendly AT ALL! The only time we heard from any staff member is when the rules were "broken". Would never stay again!

Love KOA! There was a moderate inconvenience during our stay-nothing that would prevent me from returning. To explain upon arrival there was a car parked in our site-owner was unable to be found. I was reassigned to another site but due to bookings had to pack up and move our popup camper/supplies to another site the next day for the remainder of our 3 days. No compensation but I also didn't ask.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
